  Please buy the subscription to the latest version of Acrobat DC.

  We're very sorry, but Adobe would not be able to provide you with Acrobat 8 pro for mac. The reason being, it's a very old version and Adobe unfortunately does not provide support for such an old version. You must contact the same resource where you bought the DVD. They might be useful for you.

  Or you can opt for our last DC of Acrobat. It is very different from that of the older Acrobat 8 and has a different and new USER interface as well as new features.

  Yes. You are right. It is a unified installer which has the AcroPro.msi.

  If you install using a serial number Acrobat Standard, product launch, you should see the name in the DC Standard form.
