where can we Plug ins stored and throwing things away

Hi all

Last year I had to buy Dot Pixels and I installed it in the Applications > AE > Plugins folder.  I received an e-mail from upgrade to the lates version.  He warned to remove the old version before installing the new, I did.  However, with the new version, the computer did the installation.  Unfortunately, his does not work properly, its appearing as a trial version, so I would remove it, but is not in the folder plugins like the former, one was, and when I "search" for it nothing appears.  When I type in Dot Pixel in the effects and preset Panel, located in a folder named RowByte.

It's where I can trash.

Since I clean it and I like to throw things to recover disk space, I noticed in my HD > library > Application Support folder a Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Pro System Support a record, I'm not using Final Cut, do not use Final Cut and I do not know where or how Final Cut got to be anywhere on my machine , it's ok that I trash them and other applications that I use and have records there. ?

Thanks in advance

on a Mac os 10.6.8 using more AE CS4

There are plug-ins that settle in the library > Application Support > Adobe > commune > Plug-ins folder.

I don't mess with Final Cut files. They contain things like codecs for ProRez and Intrmediate Apple apple. They are good for you...
