Where is the Clipboard on Windows 7?

I recently bought a Dell Windows 7 Professional 32-bit.  I can't find the Clipboard on the operating system.  Perhaps it is not come with one.  If so, is there a Microsoft site where I can download a Clipboard and install it on this machine? I would appreciate any information you can offer here.

Unlike XP, the Clipboard cannot be seen in Windows 7. You need a copy clipbrd.exe from a XP computer. It is located in C:\WINDOWS\system32. Copy it into the same folder in Windows 7 and to run it, click on the round of Windows (start), type clipbrd and press ENTER.

  • Where are the drivers for Windows 8?

I have a HP Pavilion dv7-6178us Entertainment Notebook PC. I can't find drivers for this laptop for Windows 8. Anyone know where I can find them? This machine is less than a year, so an upgrade path should be available.

The system has been upgraded to Windows 8 by doing exactly as described in this document for the upgrade method?

If a system is officially expected to receive Windows 8 depends on various factors, including when the device has been manufactured and not only the sold date. Much of this is based on internal tests of Windows 8 units. If it turns out that Windows 8 does not play well with some hardware components, then it cannot receive official Windows 8 drivers and software. The reason is that the reputation of Microsoft and HP go up on the user experience of this laptop with Windows 8. HP said it is registered for Windows 8, so he was not properly tested and delivered a bad experience, then that user HP and Microsoft will be tarnished based on the bad behavior of Windows 8 and incompatible hardware. Unfortunately, this often happens with major operating system changes. The metro system that uses Windows 8 did not exist before Windows 8 and it will change the hardware requirements as well as software. A similar experience happened with the transition from Windows XP to Windows Vista. A lot of hardware and software was not compatible despite XP compatible mode in Vista.

That being said, I've upgraded my old laptop bought in 2010 for Windows 8. For the most part, Windows 7 drivers worked without any problems once .NET Framework 3.5 has been activated. You can try to use the Windows 7 drivers to see if that makes a difference in the meantime. It was a similar method used when Windows 7 is released. Many people had success using drivers Vista to 7, but not all the world is.

To activate the setting, go to the start and search screen to uninstall a program. Expand the settings option to reveal this option.

Once which is open, select Add/Remove components windows on the left and check that the .NET Framework 3.5 is enabled. It is usually disabled by default in Windows 8 with my experience.

Once this is allowed, try the Windows 7 software and drivers. It is not guaranteed that some will work and some won't. Bluetooth drivers for my laptop were not compatible with Windows 8, and I had to use what Windows 8 pilots were there for her. I also noticed that my fingerprint reader works anywhere, with the exception of the login screen which is where it has been used most in Windows 7. Your experience may be different, because there more than likely very different hardware that my laptop has.

Yet once, it is not approved by HP, but it can work for your needs in Windows 8. Windows 7 can provide the best experience until Windows 8 official drivers are released. Just to note, it is possible that your laptop will not receive Widnows 8 drivers. I don't know the results internal analysis which may be held or a roadmap for mobile before the release of Windows 8 and Windows 8.

  • Where is the DBMS output window when using the PL/SQL Editor in v1.5.5?

I find the output window of DBMS when using the SQL worksheet, but where is when I run a PL/SQL procedure in the PL/SQL Editor window?

I'm used to using TOAD (and want to use SQL Developer, because it's much better behaved when executing procedures, among other problems, TOAD refuses to reduce to a minimum when it executes a pl/sql procedure) and it allows me to edit a pl/sql procedure, enable the DBMS output window, run the proc, and have the DBMS lines show up in the said output window.

I can't find the same functionality in SQL Developer. I've seen a lot of posts (this forum and a Google search), but they all talk about the SQL worksheet. This is not what I want.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hello
After running PL/SQL procedure, I saw all the important information in the running tab (called Running - log) including DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line lines.

  • Where are the files of Windows Mail messages and contacts stored in Windows 7?

I backed up a Windows 7 system and restored to factory State by doing a restore of the system because the system has been seriously infected by viruses.  I couldn't do the export before the system recovery.

Now, given the Windows 7 system restore brand new I am trying to restore Windows Mail account.  In fact, I can't tell if it was a front window Mail or Windows Live Mail.  I don't know if the locations of the files for messages and contacts of these two letters are different.

When I go to c:\users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\, I don't see Windows Live Mail but Windows Mail.  So does that mean it was a Windows Mail system not a before Windows Live Mail System.  I copied the files saved in Windows Mail system on the same path directory in the newly recovered system, but it doesn't seem to make a difference when I open Windows Live Mail, which is the only e-mail program on the newly recovered Windows 7 system.

Can someone confirm the locations of the files to messages and contacts, Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail in the operating system Windows 7 home.  Can I just copy the files on?  With Outlook 2007 and 2010, she usually works if I simply copy the files or import from the saved file.  Also should which file names be so that I can easily identify them?  Are the mail accounts and password setup to re - enter as Outlook 2007/2010 or are stored in the files I can simply copy to the new system?

Windows Live Mail is supported in this forum

  • Where is the folder C:\windows\shellnew located in Windows 7?

I tried to change the default font and size parameters to WordPad.  I found an instruction to do that involves editing the registry.  However, in order to make the registry change, the instructions said that I had to add a WordPad document with my default settings in a folder called C:\windows\shellnew which instructions said had the following track: C:\Windows\ShellNew.  But I can't find any folder called C:\windows\shellnew here, nor anywhere else in C:\.  Where can I find this file?  Note: I don't mean the C:\windows\shellnew in the registry, but a file system called C:\windows\shellnew.  I know where the relevant registry C:\windows\shellnew entry, but it serves me without having the C:\windows\shellnew folder in which to save this model of WordPad.

Copy the registry value, I gave you.

  • Where install the program - in Windows 7 vs XP Mode

I put up two personal computers to run a legacy data analysis program that works only on Windows XP.  One running Windows 7 Pro, and I have the program legacy installed in XP Mode without any problem.  However, I need to be able to print to PDF from the analysis software.  I'll use one of my two licenses for Adobe Acrobat X Pro on the second computer, so my question is where to install it on the Windows 7 machine?  I'll be able to print to PDF of program in XP mode, if I install it directly in Windows 7?  Or I have to install Acrobat X Pro in XP Mode (that I prefer to not do, that things run much slower on this side)?  Thank you.

Why not just use PrimoPDF? It works well. You choose-just like the printer and boom, you have your PDF file. There are a bunch of them out there, but this one works very well.

    I hope this helps.
