  Amazon. You have buyer protection and their customer service is excellent. I tried Acrobat 9 for my Mac and it installed without any problem of license and I was able to upgrade.  This is a clean license.

  Some people sell their old software of Adobe because they have updated (they are not supposed to) and so the buyer can not be upgraded.

  In CS4 or CS3 would be best. They are PPC/Intel so if you throw your PPC, you can install it at least on a Mac Intel.

  I could be wrong, but if you buy the DVD version English or if you download the product, you can install the product in Spanish (Windows only).

  You may be able to find a copy of Ps CS6 online somewhere.  Personally, I like the subscription of the CC.  Let's say you want to buy CS6 on eBay, and you're lucky enough to not get ripped off no.  For the same price, you could have bought 4 years of the cloud and have the support and the software up to date.  If you are a student, you can get CC photography for $9.99 / month.
