Where to edit the CSS?

When I export I do not see CSS file, so I guess you cannot subsequently change the CSS code? or at least not easily.

It is in the js file.

    You can change the Bootstrap default css file, but unless you know what you are doing I would not touch. He is blocked for some reason - it contains many lines of css code that you probably don't understand and if you replace accidentally vital of it parts then the page does not work as it should.

    After having said that if you want to change it, click on the file and make it editable / writing (not recommended)

    What you need to do is to create an another style sheet, bind it to the page AFTER the link to the css Bootstrap file and make changes to this

    .accordion1 h2 {}

    blah: blah;

    }

    . NAV {}

    blah: blah;

    }

  • Edit the css of a theme

    Hello

    How can we edit the css for a built-in theme file? Can we download a new css file and use it instead of the default css, if yes how?

    Thank you
    Machaan

    Hi Machaan,

    You can download your own style sheet in the application and override the styles of the model.

    (1) go to the shared components > files > Cascading Style sheets

    Download your own .css file (I did by copying the existing stylesheet of the model, using Firebug and then only by changing the styles you want).

    (2) then you will need to make sure that this .css file is referenced whenever a page loads.

    Go to the components shared > models

    Filter so that only your Page templates are displayed for the current theme you are using (it should stay about 11).

    Then, in the definition > header field, you must include a reference to your stylesheet customised under the existing reference.
    You must update all the page templates 11.

    Check which element you want to change the font size. (Eg., tr, td, th, pre, daily, pageHeader are some of these categories, you have with our CSS) then change the attribute are size to 12px as "do-size: 12px;"

  • How can I add the CSS styles used by Firefox player mode?

    When loading from the view of the reader, the text is aligned to the left by default. I would like to be well to the left and right justified. At present, I can arrange this by editing the css style in the view "Inspect element", but it's not permanent (and we don't know where the player load css style). Is there a way to make such a change in the permanent reader view css style?

  • Changing the CSS in a standard templete

    Hello

    I would like to change the CSS in a standard model.

    t2OptionalwithHelp in this case

    By reading the topics in the forum, it is best to not edit the CSS directly.

    My problem is very basic...

    (1) where the CSS are organized, for example, where can I find t2OptionalwithHelp?

    (2) who is the best way change t2OptionalwithHelp?

    Any help welcome

    Thank you

    Pete

    Pete,

    In both cases, you need to change all the page templates that require CSS changes to reference a CSS file.

    Like I said, it was, you get better performance if you upload a CSS file to your web server and reference this file outside of your page templates, if you upload the file in your Apex application (via components shared-> Cascading Style Sheets) and that this copy of reference.

    The thing to watch with this is that if you change the external CSS file to test, your users of production will be affected.

    Hope that helps,

    Stew

  • string ' / viewController-context-root "automatically get added in the CSS rule

    My version of jDeveloper is 12.2.1.0.0

    I expanded the alta-v1 skin and put a CSS rule in there that would apply to a background image of an element. The CSS rule is as follows:

    .notification.bell{
        background-image:url("/images/bell.png");
        background-repeat:no-repeat;
        background-position:center center;
        background-size:70% 70%;
    }

    When I run the page and display the CSS rule in Firebug, this is what happens in:

    .notification.bell {
      background-image: url("/ViewController-context-root/images/bell.png");
      background-position: center center;
      background-repeat: no-repeat;
      background-size: 70% 70%;
    }

    I made sure that I am editing the CSS file by changing the name of the file from bell.png to bell2.png and it was reflected in Firebug. What I can't understand, is why is the extra string added to the URL and hence.

    PS: I also noticed a strange thing at the moment. The URL in the address bar appears as

    http://127.0.0.1:7101/ViewController/faces/home.jspx

    Should also contain the name of the project? Something like this:

    http://127.0.0.1:7101/myProjectName/ViewController/faces/home.jspx

    A I spoil with a frame inside jDeveloper?

    User, I need to check the css thing. I have never seen it myself, but never looked especially for her.

    The second part of the question is easy to answer: the string you see is defined in the viewcontroller project root context parameter. Set this parameter to something that you like and start the application again. You should see the new value of the parameter.

  • When I am using firebug how to enable editing of css source code? I can use the 'Search' menu edit option but may not change the code. It will not allow that.

    I'm not allowed to modify the source code of my css. I can open a css file
    and see all the code but when I try to change the text, it
    won't do it. I thought I could edit text to update the css files. How do I do that?

    If your intention is to download the file changed on the server, then you must use an external editor.

    Otherwise, you can watch an extension as a Web Developer.

    You should try to include a web font, but you cannot use those during the creation of course, so when you publish or correct fonts you have alignment issues.

  • RESTRICT EDITING... Where can I enter the password that allows me to edit the document?

    I want to give my clients the opportunity to open, save and print documents without having to enter a password but I do not want to modify the PDF. Then, I limited edition by clicking on the tab 'Protection', and then click the button 'Limited edition' and entering a password.  It was working fine but now I have to make changes to some of the documents.  I scoured the internet for an answer, but I can't understand where the password that allows me to make changes to the PDF is supposed to be enterd.  I even went all try to remove all the safety devices of the document, but that only allowed me to edit the document.  Where am I supposed to enter the password that I created?  What is the point of the password so I can't get anywhere? How can I edit the document?  Thank you!!

    In order to enter the password to delete the security, select: file > properties > Security > security method: [select No Security]

    When you select "No Security", you will be asked to enter the password, and you can go on save the file now not secure, preferably with a different name.

  • Where can I find the CSS created by using Apex 4.0 in Apex 5.0 files?

    Hi all

    I created the CSS file in version 4 of the Apex, we had a separate section under shared components to create the CSS file and retain the same.

    But I see now the Apex interface has been changed and I am unable to find the file CSS created previously, but however the same styles applied to the application.

    Can someone help me find the created CSS files and modify the same.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Hello

    Thank you for your answer!

    It was useful for me to find the css file.

    In fact, it was under "Static workspace files", since we are using " #WORKSPACE_IMAGES# " available to all requests for a given workspace.

  • How to edit files css APEX 5.0 added as a static application file

    Hello everyone!

    I'm trying to understand how to deal with my custom css file.

    When I add my .css as APEX static application file converts into a BLOB, right? But how do I edit this file then?

    Plan to put the CSS files on the server instead of the database and use the directory/i.

    However, if you do not have direct access to a directory on the server, this could be even more frustrating. You may need to ask your system administrator to do it for you every time.

    When you test the CSS (or Javascript, incidentally), I usually begins on the page where I have a problem and develop the CSS first as inline CSS on the page:

    If it works, move the CSS code in the CSS file.

  • Vertical list with subtext and icon, where to find the names of the icons?

    Hello

    I use the model of this list, I would like to know where I can find the different names of icon I can use.

    Digging, by default a gear appears and if I put in the details (shared components) list, attributes defined by the user, the 2nd, the chartIconvalue, then an emblematic painting on the list point as a symbol.
    I want to know, what values I can put out there and for what symbols (I guess that there must be alternatives by default).

    TIA,

    It's not immediately clear where we find the model of list of this list. When you have a problem, you will get an answer faster, more efficient including information as much information as possible from the outset. This should include:

  • Full version of APEX
  • Complete operating system DB, version, edition, host
  • Architecture of Web server (EPG, SST or APEX listener/host operating system)
  • Browser (s) and version (s) used
  • Theme
  • Model (s)
  • Region/section type (s) (particularly as to distinguish if a 'report' is a standard report, an interactive report, or indeed a 'update report' (i.e. a tabular presentation))

    Digging, by default a gear appears and if I put in the details (shared components) list, attributes defined by the user, the 2nd, the chartIconvalue, then an emblematic painting on the list point as a symbol.

    This list template uses CSS Sprite technique, with the class attributes control what icon from those available in the sprite image. It is essentially the same technique described for Shakeeb buttons: Here you put the name of the class required in field 2 of the attributes defined by the user of the entry in the list.

    The theme CSS (/i/themes/theme_25/4.2.css) reveals the following class names to be supported:

  • calendarIcon
  • userIcon
  • chartIcon
  • gearIcon
  • reportIcon
