Where to find the drivers that were lost after a clean install of Windows 7?

I did an install customized win7 Pro without re-partitioning on a new computer hp laptop that was working fine with win 7 home - none of my own data on again.  Now the network, ethernet ptba. / drivers(+others) can not be found and used.  I suspect/hope they are in the file window.old.  How to find & install them?  (I don't have the original OEM OS win7 home system drive so cannot re - install and did not have the internet connection to find airline pilots).

Thanks for any help

You will not be able to extract the folder Windows.old AFAIK. You must download from the HP site. Do this on the computer that you use to post here and save them on a flash drive...

  • After a clean install of Windows Vista, Intel Wifi card is installed and activated, but does not detect the network.

Wireless card not working after a clean install of Windows Vista

I did a clean install of Windows Vista Home Premium on my HP Pavilion of 32 bits. I've completely updated Windows via Service Pack 2. Given that the clean install, my wireless card, Intel (r) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN, was not able to detect all the networks. The Wifi card is listed under NICs as being installed and activated. the hardware on my laptop Wifi switch is set on "on" and the light is blue, indicating that the card is working.

I can connect to the internet if I connect physically my computer to the modem with an ethernet cable wireless, so the modem isn't the problem. Other computers can connect to the wireless modem, so my Wifi modem functionality is not the problem. The problem with my computer.

I tried to uninstall the Intel driver and reboot my computer with the generic driver. Install the driver generic, but my wireless card has not always worked. I then ran an update of windows, nothing helps.

I tried to install the "Intel® PRO /? Wireless and WiFi Link"drivers for Windows Vista (32-bit 13.1.1.1 the latest version and the previous version 12.4.4.5 32-bit) for the Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN directly from the Intel Web site at http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Wireless+Networking&ProductLine=Intel%C2%AE+WiFi+Products&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Wireless+WiFi+Link+4965AGN. The map didn't always work with a driver.

In addition to the pilots, I also downloaded a tool of diagnosis of Intel (Intel® PROSet /?) Utility of WiFi wireless connection for Windows Vista 32 -? Bit). Said diagnostic tool the WiFi card is not installed or enabled, however, Device Manager maintains that he is also installed and active.

Is there a problem that causes Device Manager to say that all is well with the card, but does not map to realize that they diminish the radio signals? Everything's fine, diagnostic, it just does not detect networks around him. Help, please.

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.

Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

I just bought a new laptop for my wife. I guess that, more correctly, she had for a few months now. His old laptop died and she thought she could live with Win8. She could not. She now wants windows 7 on his laptop. If she's not happy, nobody's happy and she's not happy. HP itself isn't helping their stand seems to be that the isOS of material too advanced for decent OS w. I had hoped his laptop and mine would be the last two long enough for MS to come to their senses and give us a usable OS, but that ship has sailed. Save my sanity and my marriage. Help me to find drivers.

Windows 8 could be a success if MS listened to comments during the development phase.

No one I know wanted to get rid of the W7-type interface.

Very well if they wanted to have the new interface of tile, so there was an option to check a box and let W8 display and behave like W7, and those with tablet PC or touch screen computers laptops/computers office could use the tiles, etc.

I find heavy W8 going backward to find stuff.  Anyway, we can go on and on this subject and it will not change Microsoft's mind.

Here are links to the drivers you need.  Please make your set of W8 recovery disks or install W7 on another hard drive.  The recovery partition probably does not work after installing W7.

You will need to go into the BIOS and enable the legacy mode and disable secure startup (if legacy mode don't automatically disable secure boot).

After that you get installed W7.

First install the AMD chipset driver and restart. First listed file is what you need.

Then all the W7 x 64 drivers of this model should also work on your.

    Hello

The drivers for this laptop are on the European driver Toshiba page.
This book belongs to a series of older and so you can find the drivers in the area of the ARCHIVE.

    Check this box:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/-> support download &-> download drivers

    Here, you have to choose:
    Archive-> Satellite Pro-> A-> Satellite Pro A10 Satellite Pro

You can connect this laptop to the router using the LAN port.

I m not very well if you'll be able to connect the laptop to the router using the WiFi because that card WLan was optional on this laptop and possibly there is no WLan card.

If you want to check if the wireless card is installed, then you should check the device-> maps network manager
LAN and WLan card must be registered.

    Good bye
