Whitish area / brighter small on U2515H

Recently, I noticed a small whitish area / brighter small of irregular shape (about 5mm in diameter) on my U2515H. It is particularly visible on a white background. A picture is attached below and the mouse pointer is pointing right at the place.

It does not resemble dead pixel / brilliant that I used a test LCD util to scroll through the colours and it just looked more light than surrounding it.

It also doesn't look like a bad scrape as I checked it by the look to the area affected in the light and the surface is quite normal. I use the monitor for photo editing and treat it like a baby. It's so sad what's happening:)

After browsing online, it seems like it might be the 'pressure marks '.

I ordered this U2515H directly from Dell in April and I have a 5 year warranty.

My question is: is this kind of defect covered by the warranty?

Thank you.

By the warranty, any replacement after the first 30 days of the date of the original invoice will be a refurbished replacement monitor. A refurbished monitor could have cosmetic defects on the media or the bezel which is eligible for a replacement refurbished. He could also have less than 6 stuck dark pixels that is also eligible for a replacement refurbished. So, I prefer to keep the original of this little problem. Your decision. Read this.

Also once I have downloaded them will be safe to remove them from the photos app to create a space on my mac?

Note If you are using iCloud photo library (Apple menu > System Preferences > iCloud > Photos > iCloud photo library) all photos you delete app Photos on your Mac will also be deleted photos at https://www.icloud.com/ and any other device connected to this library to iCloud. Apple offers no option only cloud storage for Photos. iCloud library is primarily designed for photos of synchronization between devices rather than as cloud storage only. You can reduce the amount of storage space required on your Mac by opening the photo and then click on Preferences in the menu called Photos, click on iCloud in the bar at the top of the preferences window and select "Optimize Mac Storage."

    Hi Polly.

You may have a problem with an extension or plugin that obstructs normal behavior of your Firefox. Have you tried to disable all add-ons (just to see) to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

In all cases, prove a screenshot would be useful.

Mike - Has microsoft to offer a 'solution' to this problem.  I have Club Pogo, everything goes well on the main screen, but the games are too small and I can't fix.

    drm0051,
You need to check the link for the citation.  We need more information to try to help out you.  If this only happens with Pogo games then you need to contact Pogo support, because this may be a known issue that they have a patch\fix for.  One thing I can say, it is to check that your Java is updated to the latest version. • Help! my icons multisim and ultiboard are too small

my icons are too small and I feel that the words are bigger than they should be, nobody knows the reason for this and if so can you please suggest a solution. Thank you. I've attached a picture to show you exactly what I mean.

    Hi Samiashi,

By the looks of things, Multisim is just after the settings on the computer. If you go to control panel > display > small 100% (default value), this can help you. This changes the size of your text on your screen.

    I hope this helps you,

    Hi Rod,

    ·         The question is limited to the games?

    ·         Do you know if there were any changes made to the computer before the show?

Method 1: Check if the screen resolution is set to the default settings of the monitor. You can check the manual.

Microsoft Windows XP - change your screen resolution

Method 2: You can read the following article and see if it helps.

Microsoft Windows XP - switch your display to 256 colors

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-AU/Windows-Vista/change-screen-resolution

    Change the screen resolution

Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.
