Why a FileReference.data property would be null?

If I select a file using:

leader. Browse()

but once the file is selected, and file.load () is called, file.data is always null. I checked the behaviour of file.data, and when it returns null - and none of these features don't seem much sense to me. What sort of security problem/sandbox?

Hi again,

Here is a really quick and functional example:

In case you get an error that says that 'could not file on FileRerefence load() method' then you are not exporting content for Flash Player 10. Do not forget that FileReference.Load; is available from Flash Player 10.

Kind regards

    I solved this on my machine after a few game.

    When you arrive at the last stage of the search for album information, before you click on finish, click the small globe in the upper left corner of the dialog box.  This refreshes the connection to the server.  Click on finish, then it started working again.

    Refresh a couple of times before that it worked but so far 2 of 2 machines working again on my other maching.

    Hope this helps!

    Thank you thank you. Sometimes, it takes "Refresh" several times but finally the player "seems" to calm down.

    I remember somewhere asking how this was done and did in 1.5 but now I can't make work more in 5.1

    I have the following code in a stream of political work shot (is not a blocking task):

  • Why use an implicit property better than a wired one reference node?

    The next question is a CLAD practical exam:

    You have control over the façade of a VI and modify one of its properties at run time. Which of the following statements is the best approach you would take?

    a. create an implicit property node and select the property to change

    b. create a command reference, the reference to a property node and select the property to change

    The answer is A. Can anyone explain why? My old STE had a big problem with the implicit property nodes (although I'm not 100% sure why).

    If this question is replicated correctly, you have to guess what the q ' er had in mind when they wrote that Q.

    A let's you right - click here to find the control, the other allows a Subvi. the first is easier to write and understand, it is easier to maintain.

  • Why the acquired data are not from min to max (DAQmxCreateAIVoltageChan, PXI-4472) values

    Hello

    I'm developing a program for the PXI-4472 acquisition on opensuse 11.4 device (linux 2.6.34).

    I try to acquire analog data and to read in a wav file.

    Configure the task of acquisition with the following functions:

    All the information to fix this error would be appreciated.

    Just answer for the most recent message - no time now to carefully dissect any advance information.

    First and it of quite a nonfunctional nitpick, but would it not less confusing to put the

    initials HAVE config calls * Sub * the encoder configuration calls so that you would not have to cross the streams?

    Secondly, it seems that youv'e ' e configured your task of coder to make its sampling based on the

    «"" "Sample clock of IT.»»»"  Good so far.

    The call to perform Nulling incur the subsystem HAVE.  I'm assuming that it uses your

    other settings for config task (for example, the sampling frequency) in the process, so you start generating

    Sample of AI clocks implicitly generating in turn encoder samples.

    Sides are the Nulling operation will then stop the sample clock when it's done - it's the

    normal behavior for automatic start-up operations DAQmx.  So here's what * I * will try:

    Perform removal * before * starting the encoder task so that the task of the encoder collect

    samples while you null your bridge.  As a precaution, call DAQmx Stop for your task to HAVE

    just after deletion.  * Then * start your task of encoder, and then finally (re) start your HAVE

    task.

  • Why is the "Called" property returns a name with *: Instance: 0?

    I'm building a VI that returns a list of all the side screws and their auxiliary screws, etc., a given top-level VI.  I first open a reference giving the path to the top-level VI, and then use the property 'Called' to get the subVIs. I then (in a loop) get all each Subvi conscripts by opening a reference using the name of the previous output called string. I noticed something when I ask for conscripts by the string name of XYZ.vi, that I get all its subvis, but I also have a XYZ.vi:Instance:0 name returned. What is the purpose of the proceeding: 0 and why is it happening? I like understand why Instance: x would never get added to the name, and also why VI would return his name in the property called? The VI is not defined as re-enterent or calling themselves dynamically or anything like that.

    Hope someone can explain that.

    Thank you

    James

    Hi ejb068,

    Hello and I hope that your well today.

    I continued to study your issue now I am back in the office, with my LabVIEW machine and resources OR. I concluded and also since found a confirmation of this issue.

    For a first level VI which has a few express screws on its block diagram, the names of the callee property currently includes a single instance of the upper level for each express VI VI.
    For example, if a VI has two ExpressVIs in the block diagram. The property called node will return two instances of the toplevel VI.

    First level VI = mainVI.vi

    Express VI = delay

    Result name called: mainVI:Instance0 (number lists according to the order screw Express are deleted from the diagram.)

    : first level VI name: InstanceX

    The problem is if you use VI server that this name is not valid - and causes a VI Server error. So I think it would be pretty safe filter these names.

  • Is why my persist() method JavaServiceFacade receives the NULL object

    My version of jDeveloper is 11.1.1.3.0

    I have a jspx in which I want to enroll an employee in my DB click on the "submit" button.

    I did an entity object (Employee.java) made from an EMPLOYEE table. Then, I exposed this entity using a JavaServiceFacade bean. The JavaServiceFacade class has a method with the signature persistEmployee (Employee employee).

    In my UI, I did made a Submit button by dragging the method persistEmployee() of my palette of DataControls on my jspx, and linking actionListener for it is = "#{bindings.persistEmployees.execute}".

    Now when I click on the button send, the persistEmployee() method throws an exception that is below...
    _ java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: object: null is not a known entity type___

    I found that the persistEmployee() method receives an object used as an argument that makes this error is thrown.

    Can someone guide me pls on what could be the problem.

    BELOW THE CODE OF VISITS I'VE USED.

    < NamedData NDName = "employees" NDType = "model.test.Employees" / > "
    < / methodAction >

    Hello

    When you dragged the persist from the DataControls Panel method, a dialog box opens that in its lower part shows the argument that the method expects. This argument should be pointed | currentRow | data provider. To do this, click in the value field in the method argument, and then click the button on the right to display the editor of EL. Then, expand the iterator node under the node links. Expand currentRow, then select dataProvider.

    You can do after having created the tying method as well. Select the PageDef file in the Application browser and open the window of the Structure. Expand the persist method: there must be a child element. Select the child element and in the property inspector, set its NDValue property

  • Maddening error (cannot access the property/method of null ref obj) problem...

    Hey guys,.

    I get the following error in the intro of my file...

    "TypeError: Error #1009: cannot access a property or method of a null object reference."

    to Juke_fla::MainTimeline/PL_LOADING() [Juke_fla. MainTimeline::frame3:11].

    This refers to this piece of actionscript code:

    This.Stop ();

    () this.loaderInfo.addEventListener

    ProgressEvent.PROGRESS, PL_LOADING

    );

    function PL_LOADING(event:ProgressEvent):void {}

    var perc:Number = event.bytesLoaded / 3704635 * 100

    LPC. Text = int (perc) + "%";

    If (event.bytesLoaded > = 3704635) {}

    this.gotoAndStop (4);

    }

    }

    If (this.loaderInfo.bytesLoaded > = this.loaderInfo.bytesTotal) {}

    this.gotoAndStop (4);

    }

    more precisely the line lpc.text = int (perc) + % ';
    It works again... and unless you have the debug player you do not see the error, but its very annoying.
    does anyone have ideas why this is or how to fix?
    Dan

    Oooohhh! Now, I had the problem!

    The problem is that, inside the function, if you have a clause, that when the SWF file loads a number of bytes, send you it to the frame four. The problem occurs because even send you to the glory of four, he is always listening to the PROGRESS_EVENT, when this event is dispatched, the method is called again, trying to put the label of the textfield object that does not exist anymore.

    To fix this, simply add a removeListener before send it to the framework 4.

    function PL_LOADING(event:ProgressEvent):void {
         ...
         if (event.bytesLoaded>=3704635) {
              this.loaderInfo.removeEventListener( ProgressEvent.PROGRESS, PL_LOADING );
                   this.gotoAndStop(4);
         }
    }

    if (this.loaderInfo.bytesLoaded >= this.loaderInfo.bytesTotal) {
          this.loaderInfo.removeEventListener( ProgressEvent.PROGRESS, PL_LOADING );
              this.gotoAndStop(4);
    }

    This will fix the problem.

    Kind regards

  • Can't access "Change Date" property of the DataSet

    Hello:

    Ive had similar messages, but nothing seems to match what I would make in 2012 tiara.

    I want to get a time stamp from a set of data to show exactly when the test was run.  The data I work with have a datetime string, but it is set by default to the time in the past (the supplier of material coding errors) so that the information is useless for me.

    The "date modified" (in the details in the file in the browser panel Explorer) is the exact time I want.  Is it possible to call this value?  Specifically, I would like that this value to propagate in a text box.
