Why a whole page of rows in the table is duplicate in FrameMaker 10?

I have a long table in one of my chapters in FrameMaker 10. The table is seven pages long, but a whole page of dollars of rows in the table is duplicated, if the table really should only be six pages long. The first four pages look like this:

Page 1: Lines 1-7

Page 2: Lines 8-16

Page 3: Lines 8-16

Page 4: Lines 17-28

Headers and footers are completely unaffected. All the markers from index in the rows of the table are also doubled, so all of the Page 3 index markers are also appearing in the IX file. I've combed through the file on unresolved references, but I can't find. Also, if I insert a blank line in Page 2, all lines is duplicated is no longer. If I insist on the entire table, Page 2 does not seem to be highlighted. I can't select or change anything on the Page 2.

I'm absolutely baffled why this is happening. A glimpse of what is causing this rowset ghosts to appear?

Some ideas to play with:

  • Did you wash MIF file to clean small codes that may have been imported?
  • Have you checked the duplicate lines to check that they are defined in the body and not header?

    Hi all

    My 11.1.1.7 Jdev.

  • Rows in the table are break on separate pages...

    I have 20 lines equipped table:

    first 3 lines are on one page, then half of the page is empty hen remaining 17 rows is on the second page.

    How can I keep table to break the lines. I want all rows in the table to succeed himself.

    Help, please. Thank you.

    Keep them with parameters are in the table > Format > Format line...

    Note: the first row on the second page may also have a start parameter that indicates that it is at the top of a page or column.

    The control of widows and orphans just specifies how many rows to keep together (widow is the first page; ( orphan , is the second page) when a table has over a page. The higher the number, the more lines are forced to remain together.

  • How to adapt the rows in the table spans several pages in proportion to an image?

    Hi all

    I have a fairly large excel file (more than 2000 lines) imported, and the resulting table spans more than 150 pages.

    The problem is that the lines don't always fill the height of the text block (height of 9.5 ") on every page.

    I don't like that the lines are of different sizes. I want just the lower edges of tables on each page to be in the same place.

    By dragging the line down with the SHIFT key does not work if the table spans several pages/text blocks.

    Is it possible to force the selected lines (or stored in a block of text) proportionally fill their block of text?

    It is really not any function automatic adjustment that apply at the height of the row in the table directly, then I suspect that you're not going to find a way to do this is automatic.

    If it was my document, I would consider (something like) do this:

    Find the highest line in the table. (Or, perhaps that if there is some exceptionally high lines; unobtrusively manipulate them and use the 2nd or 3rd highest line as a reference.) Calculate the number of lines (max number of) of this size will fit in each text block. Divide the height of the block of text by this number to get a line height that adapts the same number of lines in each image. Then, select the entire table and all rows from this height. Follow up with the typographic settings that help uniform line height look resolutely.

  • CFHTTP Parse page for the last row of the table

    OK, so I need to analyze the page returned from a cfhttp call and select the last row in a table. I then take the value of this line and run another cfhttp to another page. This returns an html page where I'll need to parse for extr the img tag. Any thoughts?

    On this basis, I need to the variable value, CBC three img tags. Then I can insert these values into a local database.

    Help me please, because I'm drowning on this one!

    Thank you all.

    You could loop on the content of the file and then parsing each line using a regular expression to extract your checkbox values and image. This is code that I wrote which gets the last box and a panoply of images based on your example. You may need to adjust the regular expression a bit if your example is not the same as the HTML code that you are monitoring.

  • Hide columns in Table B, based on values LOV in another row of the table:

    Hello

    Jdev 12.2.1.0

    I have two tables A and B and I hide columns b based on the value of row of table A LOV. For example, I have a line in A table that has a column with the x, y, z values lov. Now, if I select the row in the table has and change the LOV to x, I had to hide some of the columns in the table (B) is there a way to get this feature? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Assume:

    1 table a call "DepartmentId" column this column has LOV.

    B 2-table a column "ColumnInB" this column will be visible depending on the value of "DepartmentId".

    Try to do the following:

    1 - from data controls, drag "DepartmentId" attribute and drop it on the page as inputText then together make this inputText to false (you can remove it, but don't forget the corresponding binding in pageDef. not deleted).

    2. copy the value of the inputText which will be as "#{bindings." DepartmentId.inputValue}"and go to the"ColumnInB"column and visible property beyond the copied value.

    3 - the ColumnInB visible will be the condition as:

    4-set DepartmentId autoSubmit = 'true '.

    5-set table partialTriggers table B has id and id of DepartmentId LOV

    Surprisingly, it works very well if there are lines in the table that the VO is querying.

    Soham,

    I think you just create this LOV page by simply moving the VO, right?

    You can select the box to tick 'Include no. Selection' in your VO, and see if that helps?

  • How to set current row in the table after use the button tab on inputText

    Hi all
    My first post.., I am beginner in ADF and I'll try to explain my problem.

    For now we use ADF 11 g (11.1.1.4), in a jsff page I have a table with a column of inputText.
    On the the inputText valueChangeListener, I invoke a method in a bean viewScope that call an EJB method, make some services to the EJB on the modified line. After that, I update the VO and the table (because other values in the row have been changed) and reset the focus on the inputText even modified by the user with javaScript, because the focus was lost after updating.
    So far, everything works fine.

    When I use the arrow keys to change the selected line in the table, this is excellent work (focus is always in the inputText next or previous), but if the user tries the key tab allows you to change the current line, the inputText on the line that has the focus, but the current row in the table is not changed (I think that is normal).

    My question: How can I change the current line after the tab key in this case?

    I don't know if it is really clear, not easy to explain, do not hesitate to ask for more details.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    My question: How can I change the current line after the tab key in this case?

    Use a client event to listen to the keyboard entry and intercept the tab. Use af:serverListener to call the server to set the rowKey on the table and deliver a PPR for the table to repaint

    See example 11 on http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/index-101235.html#CodeCornerSamples

    to learn more on how to use the client listener and the receiving server

  • Selection of the table and clicks by only clicking on the row in the table

    My dilemma is that we create an interface that is a touch screen interface. It's base table. Currently, I have a button integrated in each row of the table when you click the button, it takes you to a selected line details window. What I want to happen is to completely remove the button and have the line to act as a button - you click on the line (anywhere in the line) and the action takes you to the details screen - the same model as the use of smart phones. I have the table selection listener in support of bean (hanging on a generic selection listener that I created) and selection of listener method calls the string that starts the movement of workflow. I there prints that tell me that these methods are called, but I don't get any action when I click on the row in the table.

    This is the code in the .jsff file:

    + < af:table value = "#{bindings.drives.collectionModel}" var = "row" + "
    + Rows = "#{Bindings.drives.rangeSize}" +.
    + EmptyText = "#{Bindings.drives.Viewable?" "{'No data to display.': 'Access Denied.'}". +
    + fetchSize = "#{Bindings.drives.rangeSize}" +.
    + rowBandingInterval = "1" id = "t1" rowSelection = 'single ' +.
    + width = '100% ' contentDelivery = 'immediate ' +.
    + columnResizing = 'disabled' autoHeightRows = '30 ' +.
    + columnStretching = "column: c7 ' disableColumnReordering = 'true ' +.
    + selectionListener = "#{DriveBean.onSelectionChange}" +.
    + partialTriggers =': t1 "> +"

    The 'onSelectionChange' method looks like this:

    + ' public void onSelectionChange (SelectionEvent selectionEvent) {+
    + GenericTableSelectionHandler.makeCurrent (selectionEvent); +
    + goToDriveProperties(); +
    +}+

    + public String goToDriveProperties() {+
    + return "gotoProperties"; +
    +}+

    The GenericTableSelectionHandler class looks like this:

    + public class GenericTableSelectionHandler {+
    + public GenericTableSelectionHandler() {+
    + super(); +
    +}+

    public static void makeCurrent (SelectionEvent selectionEvent) + {+
    + Table richeTableau = (RichTable) selectionEvent.getSource (); +
    + TableModel CollectionModel = (CollectionModel) table.getValue (); +
    + JUCtrlHierBinding adfTableBinding = (JUCtrlHierBinding) tableModel.getWrappedData (); +
    + DCIteratorBinding tableIteratorBinding = adfTableBinding.getDCIteratorBinding (); +
    + Object selectedRowDate = table.getSelectedRowData (); +
    + JUCtrlHierNodeBinding nodeBinding = selectedRowDate (JUCtrlHierNodeBinding); +
    + Key rwKey = nodeBinding.getRowKey (); +
    + tableIteratorBinding.setCurrentRowWithKey (rwKey.toStringFormat (true)); +
    +}+
    +}+

    I don't know what to do with that to initiate this movement of workflow. Can someone help me?

    The method used for navigation is NOT the navigation to the required page.

    public String goToDriveProperties() {}
    Return "gotoProperties";
    }

    Instead, call the navigation pro-grammatically Manager as follows:

    * public String goToDriveProperties() {*}
    FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();
    context.getApplication () .getNavigationHandler () .handleNavigation (context,
    NULL,
    * 'gotoProperties'); *
    }

  • Select the row of the table using radiobutton

    Dear all,

    I want to have a column that will a radiobutton and button in the page. When the user clicks the button, so I want a task by taking the data from the selected row. I kept the rows in the table to a single selection. When the user selects the row (without selecting the radiobutton control), then I can also get the current line and get the data from that. But when the user presses the button (in its actionlistener) then how can I know if the user has selected the radiobutton control or not in the current line.
    Can someone give me guidance in this problem...

    Kind regards
    David

    Santosh,
    where is the property of the value of the bound radio button for? It is an attribute of the line? If so you can access the value via the current line.

  • Question on the number of rows in the table bean

    Hello

    I have a table with the name of column to column, change the image...

    I 100 columns like that, and I set the number of lines to display in the 30

    Suppose that when I am in the 55th row in the table by clicking next... I clicked on the image for that particular line, it opens the new page. And now if I select Cancel button on this new page... I go to the previous screen that has table.
    But what my problem is it shows lines from the opening of the table... not the page (55th place) where I went to the new page. Is it possible to go to previously visited set of rows in the table?

    Please solve my problem.

    Hello

    When you browse the page, you can capture the index of the scope of the
    current line selected in the object attached to the table view and store
    the session

    OAViewObject oaviewobject = (OAViewObject) oaapplicationmodule.findViewObject ("YourVOName")
    int l = oaviewobject.getRangeStart ();
    pageContext.putSessionValue ("range", l);

    so when you return to the page and in process request you can reset the index of the range as previously selected.

    Range of String = (String) pageContext.getSessionValue ("range");
    int k = (int) Integer.parseInt (range);
    oaviewobject.setRangeStart (k);

    Thank you
    Gerard

  • Problem with the removal of the first row of the table

    Hi all

    I have a problem with my forms with tables where I have buttons to add or remove rows from the table. Adding the lines works fine but deleting lines has a problem when deleting the first row. Example: Here is a table with two rows where column 1 has the add and remove buttons and column 2 user imput that looks like this:

    Column 1
    Column 2
    Add and remove buttons hererank 1
    Add and remove buttons hererank 2
    Add and remove buttons hererank 3

    If the user deletes line 2 the table looks like which is correct:

    Column 1
    Column 2
    Add and remove buttons hererank 1
    Add and remove buttons hererank 3

    If the user deletes line 1 then the table looks like which is false since the ranks 2 and 3 should be left:

    Column 1
    Column 2
    Add and remove buttons hererank 1
    Add and remove buttons hererank 3

    The code is pretty simple:

    Table3.row2.instanceManager.addInstance (1); for the click event of the button Add line

    Table3.row2.instanceManager.removeInstance (1); for the click event of the button Delete line

    What I am doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance!

    Al

    The expression will be based on your structure... done .This refers to the current object, parent refers to the container parent of this object and index is the index of this object. So watching your hierarchy and from the key, you will need this.parent to join the line subform is it in (usually it is th esubform that repeats). If it's in a subform, you will need to add another parent. Continue on this road until you get to the repeating subform and then ask its index. Your expression might look like this.parent.parent.parent.index. Using this.index, you find the instance of the button object and there are just people and that's why you always get 0.

    Make sense?

    BTW your form is attached not... so I can't check what you should put it.

  • Delete multiple rows in the table.

    How to remove several rows in the table at the same time?

    I have a table with 10 rows.

    I have a loop for delete lines 1, 3 and 6.

    It deletes the row 1 and 3 of the Index out of Bounds exception.

    I know why this is happening.

    I'm looking for a function or something to delete several lines at once?

    Thank you

    It must be a logic error.

    For each row, you delete, you should reduce the number of indexes.

    For example

    If you want to delete lines 1, 3 and 6 of a table that contains 6 rows

    Remove row1 as Table.Row [0].instanceManager.removeInstance ();    [now how many lines will become 5]

    Remove row3 as Table.Row [1].instanceManager.removeInstance ();     [Note that index is 1 because you have already deleted a record, and the index starts at 0.

    Remove row6 as Table.Row [3].instanceManager.removeinstance ();      [already two deleted record, so 6-2-1 = 3 is your index to remove]

    You understand the logic?

  • Delete the row in the Table by using the report link column

    Hello

    I a report advocating the rows in a table - I would like to for users to be able to delete rows in the table by clicking on the link in the column "ID". I thought about trying to call a process by using a javascript URL (as mentioned in this thread - Re: how to call PL/SQL process when you press link column ) but I don't know how to write the process so that he knows what 'ID' to remove from the table.

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Forrest

    Forrest:

    Follow these steps

    Create an item hidden on the page P_ID named who said
    In the column link definition set the goal URL as the URL as
    JavaScript:doDelete(#ID#);
    Add this JS ito header HTML of the page

    Create a process page ' on submit ' with the code to delete the record from the table. Subordinate this process by using a "pl/sql expression" type of condtion. Will be the expression of pl/sql

    :request='DELETE';

    Treat code

    delete from where pk_column=:p_id; //adjust as needed

    Add a branch that branches off to the page
