  Windows 7 is Windows Media Player default 12. You can cross fade music in Windows Media Player 12 as well.

  Press the Alt key to display the menu bar, then go to view menu to select improvements in the menu dropdown. The next option to highlight are:

  · Fade-chained volume and auto leveling.

  Another method to display enhancements menu in WMP12 is to click on the list on the upper right to display the playlist, and then click the button at the end of the Playlistpane and then go to enhancements menu item to display all the options available.

• Why can't I launch software update?

  I am confused and don't know what else to do.  I can not get the updates installed.

  Here are the steps I followed

  -Click the black Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen.

  -Click on "about this Mac",

  -Click "software updates".

  -Select Update

  Have you tried to do it from the app store? Lancement launch of the app store, and then select the Store menu and verify that you see 'View my account ' and make sure that it contains your apple ID.
