  I need help with a strong issue with my Mac Pro, who can not read SD cards more. Gluing of any player on any USB, an SD card is not recognized more. Strange also when I put a CF card in the same drive, it works and I can see the CF card on my desk.

  Why can't my 6500 has more scan several pages at a time?  I tried to scan a three page article.  Each page must be analysed individually and saved as an individual file.  Very frustrationg.  And, of course, there is no manual to follow or refer to.  Thanks to someone out there who might know the answer.  Happy days of the Turkey.

• Why can't edit in Photoshop more

  I have reinstalled Photoshop CS5 and LR4.2RC on a new drive. But now I can't edit in Photoshop from LR. I'm doing something wrong? It worked well before (except for getting the "Render in Lightroom" thing because of the differnece in versions of process). Using Windows 7 Prof Cntrl E is no longer works and edit in Photoshop is grayed out on the menu drop down. Both work independently very well. Maybe a setting in LR? Thanks for help.

  Assuming you are using Windows machine please follow the steps below:

  On Windows, try the following solutions in the order:

  Solution 1: Uninstall and reinstall Photoshop.  Any information that has been damaged since Photoshop has been installed is re-created.

  Solution 2: Re-create the key of registry Photoshop.exe application path.

  WARNING: This procedure involves editing the Windows registry. Adobe provides no support for editing the registry, which contains critical system and application information. Make sure you back up the registry before you edit. For more information about the registry, see the Windows documentation or contact Microsoft.

  Quit Photoshop and Lightroom.

  Click Start > run. If you have not enumerated Run, see what happened to the command run?

  Type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) in the Open box, and then click OK to start the Windows Registry Editor.

  Navigate to the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Paths\.

  Right click on the App Paths folder and choose new > key.

  Type "Photoshop.exe" (without the quotes) as the name of the new key, and then press ENTER.

  Right click the Photoshop.exe file and choose new > string value.

  Type "Path" (without the quotes) as the name of the new value, and then press ENTER.

  In the right pane of the registry, right click on the (default) value and click on modify.

  In the value data field, enter the location of the Photoshop.exe file on your computer. Include Photoshop.exe at the end of the path. For example, if you installed Photoshop CS5 in the default location, type C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop

  CS5\Photoshop.exe. If you have another version of Photoshop or installed in a different directory, change the path as appropriate.

  Click OK.

  In the right pane of the registry, right click on the value of path and click on modify.

  In the value data field, enter the path for the file Photoshop.exe on your computer. (This path is the same as you have entered in step 10, except omit Photoshop.exe from the end). For example, if you have installed Adobe Photoshop CS5 in the default location, type C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\. If you have another version of Photoshop or installed in a different directory, change the path as appropriate.

  Click OK.

  Suddenly this week, my hotmail page looks weird, not displaying only no emails as I'm used to.   I see that you are having problems to download album art for your iTunes music. Here are some articles that might help you to solve this problem.

  First of all there is that with instructions on getting the missing illustrations for your albums:

  Rules used to work and now it doesn't work.  Running Windows XP, use MSN Premium as homepage and e-mail but have to go to Hotmail to the new functionto control spam and they crossed to MSN Mail as well.  Had 27 rules and it helped a little, but now I can't even begin a new rule and my block senders list is becoming a mile long.

  Update to 2015.0.2, see if it will work better.

  You also can trash your preferences and reset the plugin cache by pressing SHIFT + alt while opening the first after you restart the computer.

• Why can't I install CS6 more?

  I find that CC is just too slow for me.  CS6 is always the best option for my work environment.  My computer died last week, and so I try to get a new machine.  The problem is twofold.

  1. I can not move CIL CC on a new computer because I can not remove the old dead machine lic now.  How can I cancel a lic and transfer it to a new computer?  I thought that it would be a way to do it online.

• Why can't I save is more edited images as jpeg in CS6 file?

  What save dialog box appears, under saving Options and next to layers there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation point indicating the layers are not saved. My images are 72 dpi, I changed the resolution of the screen and no results. I value RGB and 8-bit/channel image. Someone else has had this experience? (It saves fine in psd, however). Help!

  OK, you need to know what you want to do with your image. For example, if it is for the web, the best way to save in jpg format is...  File-save for Web, then you will see a box with four pages, you can choose: Original which is going to be your original image,... Optimized which is a lower quality version. 2 and 4.

  When you click on tab 4 - Up you see your original image in the upper left corner, as you have your image in 3 different windows with different size and speed. You can click on each window and inside the screening at the top right, choose JPEG. and you can change the quality from low to high, or drag the slider quality of different quality.

  NOTE: when you do file - save for Web, you will get a flatten Image... you will lose your layers.

  It is always best if you pull your higher Res images, such as 240, or 300 dpi and later re - sample the image of inferior quality for the web. If you have the original in higher Res image, first of all, you should go to the size of the Image for example height 1200 Pixel in the Image. If you go ahead and save the file to the web, then you don't need to change the resolution. don't forget to sharpen your image when you re - sample

• Why can't Lightroom 5 read these same files to my old 5 d? Any help or fix it please!

  Why can't Lightroom 5 read these same files to my old 5 d? Previous Lightroom could read all my files very well. They were not moved or renamed. "Lightroom has encountered a problem of reading of this photo (!). No idea why or fixed?

  It shows my 5 d MarkIII files perfectly. Still more old files 40 d and nikon. But almost all of my original 5 d files appear in white with the in the upper right corner.

  When I upgraded lightroom the transition of this catalogue and all the remains transferred very well. Just not the old files. I had hoped that an update would fix it but still no luck.

  Perhaps I should remove and reimport?

  Any help is very appreciated.

  One last thing.  If it's on a Mac and that you have recently updated to the 10.9.3, Mavericks then that makes the users folder hidden, so photos down there could be a problem.
