  I've been using photoshop cs5 and cs6 for some time, but I've never encountered this problem.   This is probably the path setting operations.

  The default setting in photoshop cs6 is to exclude the shapes that overlap, and you can also use forms combine.

  I guess it may be a setting somewhere in the model (this doesn't happen to me when I'm working on one of my own files) but I can't find the setting that controls this.  Any ideas?

  What color is the highlight? Rose, a font missing, green means custom tracking/kerning. These ar the two that you're more likely to see applied to an entire line. Yellow is substituted glyphs (typically ligatures, but it could be all cpas or samll so caps) and colors for the kepps violations there, but I don't know them off the top of my head. All these can be turned on or off in the Composition section of the preferences.

  First, I noticed the change to text box. Then Fireworks CS4 would freeze during one of the following:

  • Resize grouped text

  • Moving text box

  • Click on the text box to edit with the text tool

  • Double-click the text box to change the pointer tool

  So I started a new file, but met with the same result. Thus, Fireworks CS4 is currently useless if the text is necessary. I can create vector objects, but simply by clicking on the canvas (or by clicking on the fonts menu) with the tool Fireworks CS4 text instantly gel. I had similar problems with Fireworks CS3 edition, but if I started a new file, I was at least able to reuse the text tool and type. Now, I can't even recreate the file. I have to give up Fireworks and using a combination of Photoshop and Illustrator before my schedule gets even further behind.

  I am at a total loss.

  My edges use to find the sharp, but now they look gross and smeared. It must be a problem in the application, because like I'm dragging my finger on the screen, the sharp edges, but when I take it off the screen, they get that gross look coated for them.   Here is where you can change the "edges" in the "Cut" tool Out. Try to change your settings 'Smoothing' or 'None' and see if that helps!

  When I create a text layer, the image becomes black.  If I enter text blindly, I'll see results when I finish and click another tool.  If I try to change the text layer, everything becomes black.  I'm not using the tool type mask.  I can select and move the layer and I mix the layer; I can't see what I'm typing.

  You can try to disable the GPU performance by clicking on the icon of the rocket in the bar of the App, or on the top of the menu bar, deselect the box Performance GPU; You may also uncheck performance GPU in your preferences.

  There are a few problems with the GPU and Adobe are working on them. They should be resolved with the 19.0.1 patch, but some are not.

  Whenever I'm typing anything in a text box, InDesign freezes and then stops. I can only type 1 or 2 letters before it happens and it happens every time the document is a new or an existing one.  Can I place an image in the document without any problem.

  I've recently upgraded to Snow Leopard from Leopard and wonder if this has anything to do with it. I run a Mac with CS5 InDesign Version 7.04.

  I heard the familiar engineer with LILO. This accident seems to be caused by a mismatch between LILO and other plugins version, perhaps because of a permission problem plugin in the InDesign application folder updates.

  One solution is to uninstall InDesign, reinstall it, and then re - apply updates. It must also solve the problem of permission. Could you give it a try and let us know if it works.

  I tried to update and roll back my graphics driver, I checked my swap file (because my SSD uses Samsung magician, and I found a few posts a few years ago which suggested that might be the problem), but I can't understand this.

  Other Production Premium CS5.5 programs seem to work perfectly, and only Photoshop is having issues.  I tried to reinstall (in which case a vital file has been damaged or missing).  Photoshop displays all errors of himself, he just died.
