Why keep my dock pass screens?

I have a monitor Setup three with my Mac - Pro.  Here's a table representation of how I put it:

Monitor 1

Monitor 2

MAIN MONITOR

Low PLATFORM

3 monitor

MacBook Pro

Retinal display

Acer

AL2216W

Norcent

1280 x 1024

I put my dock at the bottom of the central screen and use it as my main.  But what I've noticed, is the dock turns of monitor to monitor without apparent reason?  When I look in my display settings it still shows the central monitor with the dock and the dock has moved to one of the other two and I don't know why.  Is this a bug or am I doing something to do dock jumping to another screen?  How do I go back?  What I've discovered, is if I change the dock to be positioned on the left, then down it moves to the bottom of my screen, but she did this quite recent that has become an annoyance.

If it helps, here are the specs of my Macbook:

I thought about it.

When you have multiple screens, if you place your mouse in the middle where your dock would be on any one of the other monitors it moves here for you - for me low middle.  It's a feature, not a bug or a question.  If you place your mouse on your original monitor in the middle position of the where, in the middle of the dock would come back.

Why the brightness of the screen on my Tablet keep changing suddenly?

Some tablets have a light sensor Adaptive that detects the actual brightness in the room and adjusts the brightness of the screen accordingly.  If the light hitting the sensor is constantly changing, or if you accidentally cover this sensor with your hand or thumb, it can fool the sensor into thinking that you are in a room dark and it will lower the brightness on the screen.

In Windows 8, the Adaptive brightness setting is enabled by default.  You may be able to prevent unwanted changes in the brightness of the screen by deactivating the Adaptive brightness setting.

    Hello

    Why?
Who knows what have you that your screen is white?
My screen is not white it shows everything correctly.

The same white screen will appear on the external monitor?
If so, then this problem may be related to faulty graphics card, if no, your laptop computer s display can be defective

  • Icons disappear after restart dock, although they are marked "keep in Dock".

Program (e.g. MS Word) icons, which I have added to the dock disappear after a reboot, although they are marked "keep in Dock".

Why and how can I solve this problem?

Try to restart the Dock using the following command in Terminal:

    Killall Dock

Log outgoing/incoming and test. If this does not work, you need to look in your user Library/Application Support/docking station for the .db. Use the Finder "Go to folder" command. Enter ~/Library/Applications Support/Dock.  Move the .db on your desktop.

Then try a reset of the docking station.

    Applications/Utilities/Terminal enter the command

    Killall Dock

Log out/in test. If it works fine, delete the .db from the desktop.

If the dock is the same, back up the .db you, crushing the latest.

    Hello Bo.

It is possible that you have a problem with some Add on Firefox which is an obstacle to the normal behavior of your Firefox. Have you tried to disable all add-ons (just to see) to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you must make sure that it is not caused by one (or more) of your installed modules, whether an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do this easily and cleanly, start Firefox in safe mode (remember to select disable all add-ons when you start safe mode). If the problem goes away, you know that it's an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode and allow them one by one until you find the source of the problem. See this article for more information on troubleshooting extensions and theme and this one for plugins.

If you need help with one of your modules, you will need to contact the author.

  • Why is it called 'Blue Screen of Death?'

Why is the Windows crash screen called the 'Blue Screen of Death"when some people who don't know much about computers think that a BSoD means a blue screen that kills you when it's really just an error message?

    Hello

The BSOD made his first appearance in 1987 during the beta of IBM "Operating System/2 (OS/2) developed to lattice, stir; the developer of the first OS/2 and Windows compilers. The STOP error screen hit the OS/2, when developers were porting to other tools of lattice, Inc. over the internet. The reason behind the error seems to be bugs (it means vices or defects in more technical terms) in the OS/2 software. While giving the error description of IBM (informally known as "Big Blue", then), developers of lattice, Inc., called the error like "Blue Screen of Death", combining colour with IBM and an appearance at the dead screen that comes not depart without rebooting.

Another story, it's that the BSOD error was originally a "Black Screen of Death" (as some say) instead of "Blue Screen of Death". The term BSOD was initially given its name by Ed Brown in mid-1991. Ed Brown was then an IT technician with Coca-Cola Company, Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Ed Brown reported that the error has hit when the company implemented (Windows 3.0 operating system) in the world of Marketing Group, and the users when you try to run "WordPerfect" would randomly get BISOD error screen. The error would display a completely black screen with a cursor blinking in the upper left corner. This would happen when a user tried to run a DOS application and eventually got stuck with the BSOD error. The system had no escape from the BSOD error until it is restarted.

The BSOD error is usually written in white text on a blue background.

The most recent (June 2013) Java update caused this problem happen in my Internet Explorer 9. When I encountered this problem during a previous Java updated earlier this year, I managed to fix it by disabling the Java modules, as others have suggested.

I just tried the same solution again and it solved the problem again. Here is the solution I used:

Follow instructions of Tadasha Mithra (see above) in the "method 2" by steps a to c, but instead of stage d - e, I had to do the following instead: "."

d: in Internet Explorer, go to Tools, select Manage Add-ons. A window should appear listing your modules. In the drop-down "Show" menu, select "all add-ons". Reload the list of modules in the right pane.
e: scroll down the list until you get to the items listed under «Oracle, America, Inc.» Right click on each of the elements it and select 'Disable'.

The only way I could solve this problem in my IE9 was by disabling all the modules related to Java (i.e. by assigning everything that was on the "Oracle America, Inc." to "disabled"). But I'm not very teccy so you should be able to solve the problem by turning off only some of them.

If you are worried about the ability to disable it, you can see these two pages dealing with Java SSV helper doing and whether it is necessary:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_vista-windows_programs/what-is-Java-TM-plug-in-SSV-helper-and-what-does/09c9a6ba-8F17-4ed8-9bde-27baf3c7eb66

    Hi Trudelle,

Thanks for joining us again with your answer.

For the particular problem I suggest you follow these methods and check.

    Method 1:

I also suggest that you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Important: During the scan of the hard drive if bad sectors are found, the scanner tries to fix this sector, all available on which data may be lost

    Method 2:

I suggest that you go on the link disable add ons and check. Here is the link for your reference.

    Follow these steps:

    a. click Start, select all programsand right click on Internet Explorer.

    b. Select run as administrator.

    c. click on allow in the box user account dialog

    d. in Internet Explorer, go to Tools, select Manage Add-onsand select Select or Disable Add-ons.

    e. here click SSVHelper class and select disable under settings, click on OK.

  • Screen popup but keep interaction with stacked screen

    Hello

I'm developing an application in which I want to display a message to the user but I want to keep interacting with the screen.

The idea is that, when the focus is on an image, appears the name of the image, but the user is able to move the focus to another element.

I need popup, a screen because I don't want to change the layout of the stacked display.

Is it possible to do this? Any example or an idea to follow?

I tried to push the screens in Modal and Global mode, but when I pop up I lose interaction with the stacked display.

    Thanks in advance,

    Carles

All UI events go the screen that currently has the focus.

Two things I can think of:

    * maintain an ack of on-screen originak callback mechanism so that the UI events may be returned

    * Do not use popup screen - simply paint the tip when it is appropriate and remove it when the focus moves to another element.

Probably, I would lean towards the second solution - we do it for the ToolTips currently and it works fine.

    Hello

Please download CCleaner here and when it is installed, open it, appointment on the 'clean' tab, leave all the boxes even and click run while cleaning.

When you have done this, go to the 'Tools' tab, select uninstall and bottom right, select Save to text file, select a file name for it, and then open the saved document. Send the contents of it in your next reply.

It is possible that it is caused by corrupted files. You can try to run the System File Check to check (and challenge!) corrupted files.
