Why my installation Fail of Adobe Flash Player on my Macbook Pro?

Adobe Flash Player_17au_ta installation fails on my Macbook Pro OS 10.8.5

I followed all the steps of "Flash Player Help / installation issues «Mac OS"»

ars_heading_10 https://helpx.adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/installation-Problems-Flash-Player-RVM.html#main-p

I ran with success the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller. And I still get this message (in the installation of window 3 3) "Adobe Flash could not be installed".  I did a reboot after uninstall it before running the installation of version 17 again (Firefox and all the closed software)

My browser is Firefox 37.0.2

FYI I have Flash CS6 v.12.0.2.529 installed on this computer, I removed the Flash Player in the folder.

According to the instructions, I set the preferences of Adobe to allow Adobe install updates and closed Firefox (and closed all programs) to uninstall and install.

It worked! I had done everything before that and had just abandoned. Thank you!

Why does Vista work with adobe flash player and RoboForm?

    original title: Vista 64-bit

He does.  Even if you ask the wrong way.  It is not Windows Vista which would "work with" other applications, it's other applications that "work with" (or not) Windows Vista.  After all - Windows has no need or the other of these two applications to run, but these two applications need to Windows (or some other applicable/compatible OS) service.

Not only it works with both - but Adobe is finally released with a version 64-bit Flash Player - so you can use it with the version 32-bit and 64-bit Internet Explorer.

RoboForm: http://www.roboform.com/support/manual/roboform; "Requirements. RoboForm works under Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista, 7, server systems. Internet Explorer version 6.0 or later is required. All Service Packs and security patches must be installed. "

  • Why are there now TWO Adobe Flash Player required to view all of the Web sites: v11.9.900 and v12.0.0.43?

I had Adobe Flash Player v.11.9.900.170 and upgraded to v.12.0.0.43. When I checked the Add-ons Manager, both versions of Flash were listed and active. I disabled the earlier version, and now indicate a few sites I don't have Flash. When I re-activated the old version, the video has played very well. So what's the problem with it is necessary to have TWO versions of Flash Player installed, the current one AND a previous one? Seems hinkey...

@cor-el: the previous version seemed to disappear of itself, about 12 hours later. I checked the topic: plugins page (along with the Add/Remove Programs), and only the latest version of Flash is not installed. I have already refreshed the pluginreg.dat file.

There always at least a web page that asks for the installation of Flash Player, but it works very well on almost all other Web sites.

  • Why can't I download Adobe Flash Player?

When I try to watch a video on the Internet, it says that I have to download Adobe Flash Player.  I tried, but it doesn't work.  It acts like it starts to download, but it's just there for ever.  I thought maybe it's because I already have Adobe Flash Player on my computer.  So I tried to uninstall it.  She appeared with a window that says he would remove the Flash Player.  So I clicked on uninstall.  Then he said, "the Setup will automatically continue when these competing demands are closed:"below, he registered "Internet Explorer". "

Help!  My email address is [deleted]

You must close all applications that use Flash Player to complete the installation.  Use process tab of the Task Manager to end all iexeplore.exe processes.
