  Independent of how this feature works, you want to have your photos in one place and have a backup (second copy) somewhere else. All hard drives will not be successful at some point - some more early, some late - never trust to have your files in any safety devices if they are on a single disc. Once you have your sorted, it would be useful that you will organize/name/tag new photos immediately if the task is relatively short and simple. I copy my photos on my internal hard drive for my camera, take a quick look with preview to see who needs some changes and then decide where to put them - either drop them immediately after naming them or bring in an editing application and then file them away.

  Hi, I'm new to this bear so please with me. I have a free disc of Premiere Elements with a new canon camera and install it on my pc windows 8.1. After installation I have a shortcut for first elements and a shortcut for the elements, I guess that first for the video and photo elements. The drive came with a serial No. who worked with first, but when I opened elements, he asked for a serial No. but when I tried the same series only.  It says this serial No. is not valid for Adobe photoshop elements.   Photoshop elements and first elements are two different programs (as you know).  they have different serial numbers used to activate them.

  If you were supposed to get both with your camera, you should have two serial numbers: quickly find your serial number

  I'm not low on memory, but on both of my laptops Mac (pro and air) when I move an object, it continues to move with the beach ball will. THERE IS NO WAY TO DESELECT.

  What type of program you are using Photoshop Elements or Premiere Elements? Option D sounds like Photoshop elements Mac. If this is the case, you have posted your thread in the wrong forum. Some how your son got posted in the Forum Adobe Premiere elements (video editing).

• Why not Lightroom organizes photos and videos is missing 'date taken' by 'date modified' instead of 'creation date '?

  It always seems to be a problem with Lightroom 5. This post is one of the first results, after trying to Google this problem, and it's for LR3. I don't understand why something so basic to some photos (and video) Organization has been neglected for so long.

  I tried to import and organize all my old photos and videos by date with LR5. They have been backed up and copied several times over the years, most recently on an external drive last week. Thus, each file has a 'creation date' last week. But 'change' is the date recorded.

  It's not bad for pictures with a good EXIF "date taken" - but LR5 resembles the "creation date" for videos, making it completely useless to organize them into folders based on date. He puts videos I recorded in 2010 (in accordance with the "modification date") in a case 2014-12. Why.

  It is not only a video problem - some pictures that I took with devices that does not record date "EXIF taken" are also filed in folders of this month even if the 'update' on them is correct as is 5 years.

  How can I count on LR5 organization importing and based on the date when it is based on the files (lack of "date taken") having never been copied or backed up?

  It has been at least partially fixed in LR 5.5, for images: Lightroom: the dates do not match for the missing files metadata date/time.  But I just tested import a .avi in LR 5.7 / Windows 8.1 and the date below the thumbnail in the grid has been the time of last modification of the file system, while the Date of Capture in the metadata Panel has been set at the time of importation.

  I was just trying to find the lagarith codec in cs2 Prime Minister.  I installed the lagarith codec and I would like to export a video with it, but can't find it in the options.  Any help would be appreciated.  I'm too much on windwos xp.

  Thank you for the opportunity to respond. Lately, we have a lot of applications PrPro 2.0, so I have to show PrPro 2.0 and tell the people of CS3, CS4 & CS5, that things could be different.

  Here goes: file > export > movie, then choose MS AVI in the general tab and on the video tab, compression, choose Lagarith on the menu drop-down.

• Why not Photoshop CC open Canon 70 d RAW Files, and when I try to install Adobe Camera Raw manual installation, it won't let me not do it anymore?

  I have Adobe CC on our workplace on 4 computers (5 computer license) and 3 computers, they all open Canon 70 d not Raw, no problems... but on the other computer, files it will not open these files. I tried to uninstall Photoshop and reinstall it, but that has not worked. I then tried to install the Camera Raw update, but that said just that he will not do that to me. Any suggestions why it doesn't work on this computer, and how can I solve... that he used to work before the most recent update... which seems typical of the Adobe updates... Difficulty a thing, something goes wrong. Please notify.

  As precautionary measure simply move the file to the desktop in case there are problems. You can then restore at least.

  He pointed to Adobe that video on the 14 product page elements is actually a version earlier because Photomerge is no longer in the menu to improve it, but they have not yet bothered to change it. Looks like the right Adobe staff member has not yet been alerted.

  In the editor of 14 items, look under Mode guided > Photomerge.

  Can someone provide a link describing this subscription.

  I tried to cancel last year and simply re-subscribe when I needed product, but the support line told me that I couldn't. I ended up paying a lot more this year for the creative cloud. The day that I need to download photoshop as an app for cloud to do a job it will not download, and the online chat is not available or the telephone line.

  I'm not impressed with customer service from Adobe at all, after having paid a few hundred dollars to them last year.

  You will need to provide more information about what happens when you say that it does not download. You get an error message? The install inside the creative cloud app button does not work? Another thing you can say about it?

  So I've had this problem for about a month now and is really infuriating.

  I installed the trial version CS6 Master suit, and after a little more, I would like to notice that after some time of using photoshop, would not:

  • Open old files
  • Create new
  • Would slow down and begin to break the feet if I had a file open when the 'event '.
  • It would be impossible to record.

  After a google search, I found a lot of suggestions, such as the default printer is a network printer that was not connected or that the suggestions were corrupt. None of them worked. I did a clean reinstall of windows, but this did not fix my problem. Now, I think I remember that there was a problem I had as many years ago, and it's a windows update that screwed up Photoshop, one of the K9XXXXXX these updates. Other than that, I have no leads other than the fact that it is a hardware based or somehow the problem persists after reinstallation of windows.

  I tried to support, but of course they require that you bought to get any help. So all I have is this forum. Help, please.

  Open photoshop when it is buggy and press Ctrl + Break (Break) (it's usually next to the print screen).

• Why not email like receipts and inread in the left column appear in the main window so I can open them?

  A few e-mails I receive are marked as such in the list of files, i.e. it shows that I have unread emails in my Inbox, but they do not appear in the actual file so I can't open them. Even the unread filter will not display them. Today I was waiting for an important email and it apparently happened, but I couldn't find in the Inbox folder. I finally found by using the search function and I was able to move it to the appropriate folder, but I couldn't move or copy in my Inbox in a form that allowed me to open it.
  I knew who had sent this one, but sometimes appear non-working mystery emails. They are there as confirms the use of the search function, but they do not appear in the folder and so I am unable to open my Inbox. Does anyone else have this problem? How to correct things?

  right click on the folder, select Properties, and then on the button repair.
