Why not select anything of a large part of any site on firfox?

There is a spot on my screen about 2 inches up to about 4 inches down where I can't click on anything be it all the way across my screen. This only happens on Firefox and the problem seems to be growing, as she grows. Any Web site that I'm on it is not serious. I can't even send messages on yahoo, or click in the search box on YouTube.

This problem may be caused by an extension that is not working properly.

Problems with the buttons and links at the top of the page does not can be caused by an extension as the toolbar Yahoo! or Babylon that spans both down and covers the top of the browser window and therefore links and buttons in this part of the screen not clickable.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

  • Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.
