  Hi davedidisco, thank you for bringing this up - it's a bug on the market right now which should be fixed on the production on Tuesday.

  It might be possible to circumvent the problem by asking the reviewer to re - push again the same version of the app to the public (not sure this subject, but worth a try)...

  I don't know if I can explain this properly, but here goes...

  The apps that I downloaded from the market are still installed on the Droid X and they always work and they are applications that are still available on the market such as UPS or Angry Birds and one host of others. However, when I go regularly to the market looking for my applications to see if there are any updates available, a majority of my installed applications are listed is no longer installed when I press the menu button from within the market and select my Apps.

  Any ideas?

  And any ideas why when I don't have the allow automatic update is ticked that I always have to manually download the updates?

  Say the market when you look at one of these applications?  At the top it says open or should I say install or buy?  Is a reboot of the phone or a battery pull to the problem?

  Other opton like "buy credits" is a "Gift Card" visa to say $ 25 or $50 and use it as the map on file with Google if it would make you feel safer

  Thanks for your thoughtful response. Right now, the team is working with the idea that it has to do with what color the image is the profile and what color profile using the Apple iOS products. I'll let you know soon I hear more.

  If you modify the application in the App Builder you will have to send it back to Apple. The version numbers do not matter, they are not required to match. You will get a warning of iTunes but you can ignore it.
