Why the * doesn't have Adobe messes with the drive? I hate to have to spend time to learn a whole new operation when I was happy with it as it was. Anyway I can get the old version back?
I'm the only p * d off with the total redesign of the Adobe reader software? He created a task force for me, and change seems driven by the desire to Adobe to pimp their "cloud" storage and other services.
You can always uninstall the drive and then reinstall the version you want. I suggest that you download and use the full drive offline installation program from the version you want from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

Don't like BBM 5.0, it slows my phone down much and images take forever to receive.
How can I get the old one back?
I own a bb8330 on the Telus Mobility network (Canada)
Options > Advanced > Applications. Remove the current BBM 5
Install your current OS on the device (if you have OS 4.7, look at options > about, third line down, starting with a "v.4.xxx")
What is yours?
Now install this OS on your PC and run the application loader to install the old version.

Apparently theres a way to change the version to get rid of this news. I hae been a time on page and cannot find any solution. I was going to do an uninstall, but then I don't know how to reinstall the XI version of. I can't find anywhere.
I hate update!
I use this just a simple way, to edit PDF documents. Now, with this version, I can't have both documents are open simultaneously in two different windows. They open in Excel: a document with different pages, as if it were a book. I need to see both pages at the same time, to compare.
Sorry, but I lost a DAY of work because of this!
Anyone know how I can get the old version back? Thank you!
Sounds like you just disable the tabs. It was a novelty, and not everyone welcomed it. Go to general Preferences and disable the option to open new documents in a new tab.
To reinstall XI... well before you start, you would need the number series. Have you yet (does not tell us the number!)

I want to create a network server home on my old MacBook (it can work only 9.6). Anyone know if I can get an older version of server to work on this MB and which version would work?
There are a few things wrong with the info you gave...
He was never an OS 9.6. The latest version of OS 9 ever released was OS 9.2.2.
No MacBook cannot use any version of OS 9 for any purpose. Even the first MacBook uses a processor Intel and OS 9 (any version) can not run on a platform of Imtel, as a BONE or as classic.

The machine is perhaps a model of PowerBook? If so, it might be runing a version of OS 9.
Please specify the machine model and the version of the OS.

I have a Mac OSX 10.4.11. I installed the new update of Firefox and when I tried to open it, he said that it was not compatible with my compatible with my computer. I deleted it and now I would like to know how to install the old version of Firefox - or any version that works with my system. Thank you!
Please change the download page for other people do not have this problem. He said that the new version works with Mac OS 10.4 and more - I checked before downloading. I'm happy, there is a solution, but the download page does not. Don't use other people waste their time like I did.
When you download 3.6.24 new version downloads right thereafter. I closed it, but this looks like a glitch.
Thanks again for your help and to continue to support the old version. Firefox is a great browser. -
What I would like is the window of the screen/boot I've had in prior to this new improved window version. The window that appears when you start mozilla. I didn't want to not update, don't have requested by mozilla and I was perfectly happy with mozilla having this nice orange tab where I coul find everything I needed, also as the organizer of better bookmarks with the old version.
Thanks, hopefully I can get it back

the previous version would ask something like "save the file" when I would close firefox. as I use different tabs, it is a very useful feature for me. I want to get this same functionality on the new version, if I want to know how to go back to the old version.
Thank you
Firefox stores now always the old session, and you can access it by going to the history menu and selecting "restore previous Session."
If you want Firefox to display the message to save the session, it can be turned on again by changing some preferences.
- Type of topic: config in the address bar and press on enter
- Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
- Find browser.tabs.warnOnClosepreference, if its value is set to false, double-click on it to change its value to true
- Repeat this for 3 preferences browser.warnOnQuit, the browser.warnOnRestart and the browser.showQuitWarning
If you always open the last set of tabs, another approach is the following:
- Click on the orange button Firefox, then select options to open the options window
- Go to the general Panel
- Change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "show my windows and tabs from last time '.

I'm using mac os x version 10.7.4 and I try to update Firefox 3.5.5 version to the latest version. The Firefox icon in my doc still persists and leads me to the old version of Firefox. If it's supposed to happen?
Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.
- Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
- Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
- Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
- Windows:
- C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
- C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
- Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
- Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
- Windows:
- Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
- Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
- Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.
Please report back to see if this helped you!
