Why the images have a black background?

I am inserting an image of an arrow in my slide (the documentation said that there should be an option in the line for this purpose, but I can't find an online tool from anywhere) to point to a specific area. I tried to use a .png and a .psd, both put a black background to fill the area of the image (ick) and the images will be displayed outside the lines of the image in Captivate. Y at - there a trick to this? I am using Captivate as a stand-alone product, on a MacBook Pro. Thank you!

Hello

I have been inserting arrows created in Photoshop, are you sure you had transparant pixels surrounding the arrow? And did you use the file, the import Photoshop file command?

Here are 2 screenshots to show you the line of the toolbox tool and how to turn the line into an arrow using the accordion panel/bottom & outline of properties. I use Windows, but think that the interface is similar.

I have synced my LR my android mobile. Why the images in a different order from the catalogue on the PC and how can I get them in the same order?

You can check the order of Lightroom Mobile synchronization.

Click on the collection name and choose the last option to sort.

It should be similar to this screenshot:

Once you get to know Lightroom Mobile images sort order, you can set the same sort order on your desktop of Lightroom.

I know that if I understand exactly what you're trying to do, but if you change it 'mode' to 'screen' to 'normal' and drag the pointer from left - right (or remove the "flip side" and drag right left) I don't know that that's all what you're trying to do.

Another way is to paint 'the edge' with a big brush in the same color as the background.

Anyone know why the images using the viewer keep appearing behind the thumbnails?

    Can you provide a link?

Probably your best way to do it would be to create your first "lightbox" like a ToolTip by using the ToolTip Widget, and then that way you nest not viewers.

But if you can provide a link maybe I can think of a better way to do it.

  • Black arrow sometimes chooses to frame and sometimes the image? (why the image?)

In my previous version of InDesign, the black arrow has selected the box for moving, resizing, etc. ; the white arrow would allow me to select the image for moving and resizing the box.

In ID CS6, the black arrow sometimes selects the box, but sometimes (and certainly more often than I wish), it selects the image instead of the box. (Why?)

If I click on the outside of the box, he will choose the black arrow, but this is not always an easy thing to do. I would have preferred that the black arrow work the way it used to. I found nothing in the preferences dialog on this topic. Have I missed?

    Thank you.

Are you clicking on the Content Grabber (it looks like a doughnut) in the middle of the image? If so, and you would not be active you can turn off under view > Extras >.

  • In the grid why some images have a little gray darker around one image than others?

Had a problem with the LR after imported images of the bridge. They all had a little darker than my other gray background. Some of those who had it. Does anyone know what means this darker gray when all the images are in the grid?

I didn't notice this before, but "apparently" the darkest gray will appear around images that have a virtual copy. At least that's what it seems after a glance at the time.

  • Why the tabs have now several images showing after the last updated favicon?

The last update for Firefox has created a problem with the tabs. The tabs now have multiple images of the websites favicon projection. When I open a tab and visit a Web site, when the favicon shows then it creates multiple images of this favicon. When I click the tab and then back on it, they disappear, but obviously, this should not happen and did not begin until the last update has been installed. I even did an update and it does not solve the problem. I tried to upload an image, but the region has just a spinning wheel and the size of the image was only 5,41 kb. Apparently that doesn't work so well either. It seems that Mozilla Firefox has created a few bugs for its browser and help forum.

If anyone knows how to fix this or get Mozilla to solve their problem, it would be appreciated. Thank you!

  • I burned a dvd using windows dvd creation, when I watch it, after the first 20 minutes, that the image becomes almost black and white with pink exaggeratted shadows. WHY?

I am compiling my football teams game film. I created a dvd using Windows DVD Maker. Each game is a single video file to AVI format. When I preview the video, no problem. After having carved, (2 trials) when I watch the DVD, the menu screens look good, the video of the first part looks fine, but from second game, or of the stage, the video quality changes. The video becomes almost black and white. The shadows and the highlights of the video seem to be exaggerated and that they are pink color. It seems to be an effect of video editing, but I did no changes to the video features. Help.

Our Carmina Burana concert series begins next Friday, at the Campbell United Methodist Church. Rehearsals have been wonderful and great fun! We're really enjoying singing this piece, and are very much looking forward to dress rehearsals next week with soloists, percussionists and the Ragazzi Boy's choir!

It's not often that we perform with as many different kinds of percussion instruments as are called for in Carmina. Since the percussionists are typically in the back of the orchestra, it may not be easy to see what the instruments look like, especially when they are small or unusual. Just in case you are curious, I have included some images of some, at least, of the percussion instruments. Top to bottom down the right side are triangle, raganella (ratchet), glockenspiel, sleigh bells, snare drum, suspended cymbal, castanets, tubular bells, and the last image is xylophone with crotales (antique cymbals) across the top. Our performance will not have an entire orchestra between the audience and the performers, so you will be able to easily see the percussionists and pianists at work, not to mention the soloists.
The instrument list also calls for two pianos and a celeste. The pianos will be two Roland HP605 professional level electronic pianos, lent for this performance by two of our Bass choir members, David Goodman and Kim McCall. We rehearsed with the pianos this week - not only do they have amazing sound but with a flick of a switch they turn into the celeste, or the flute or the horn!
• Weakening of the image scaling on white background

I do an animation intro for fotograaf maar with very large pictures inside 7948-4370. Adobe has no problem of scaling of the images of size 1920-1080.

When I resize the vertical images, the white background appears on the right and left side. The I have problem when I size a vertical image 1080 size and zoom very slowly.

When the images slowly expands, the right and left side of the picture begins to falter. The slowdown of the zoom, more it wobbles.

This problem is occurring even after that I made my sequence. Is there a way to reduce it?

I hope someone knows this problem and has a solution for me.

    Thank you very much!

Export the video instead of capture using a screen capture utility. Use a preset for YouTube. Then, we might be able to see it better.

Maybe it's the fact that you are scaling in full less than pixels. It is difficult to avoid in Premiere Pro, not as hard in After Effects.

  • The images have a ugly, like orange hue of a sort of standby automatic eyes

I have a new computer with Windows 8 (new store brand) Asus and downloaded the latest version of firefox.
Almost immediately, I noticed a very recognizable orange shade on most or all images, similar to what it would look like if you voluntarily put on 'eye saver', 'save energy' or 'stream '. All gray seems to dull orange, blue is off-violet; It's a nightmare to watch, and I certainly never asked it to do this.

At first, I thought it was the computer, but the problem seems to be Firefox itself, because save the images and then view offline, makes them seem quite normal.
Similarly, using Internet Explorer does not give the same problem at all - they look normal everywhere but Firefox.

Here is a screenshot comparing Firefox to IE (using the site of my webcomic preferred for example):
    https://DL.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10129013/Misc/etc/orange.PNG

I rebooted several times (and it helps for a few seconds until the problem occurs again, as if it takes a second to load) and I did the Reset Firefox with no result.
I uninstalled, I reinstalled, I checked and checked all the options that I can find; I googled until I can't google more and I don't know what else to do.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there an obvious solution, I'm missing? I just want to be able to see the images normally and didn't suffer no pictures and updates, and I really do not have to go to Chrome or Safari or similar to do. Please help if you can, thank you very much for taking the time to read this.

This can also be caused by a problem with the profile for your monitor screen colors or color profiles embedded in images.

You can disable color management to test this.

You can set the pref gfx.color_management.mode to 0 on the topic: configuration page to disable color management.

You have to close and restart Firefox for the changes to take effect.
