  That's my problem, I have two servers both running Windows Server R2 Datacenter 2012 I installed AD - DS on one of them and allow the installation to configure the DNS settings, this server is also a DHCP server. On the server I want to connect to AD, I address DNS pointing to my AD server which is 192.168.1.60 and it's also getting an IP address from the DHCP server. But it connects to Active Directory, when I try the ping command on the domain name which is yewman.email he's trying pings an external IP address (which is my public ip address because I also have the yewman.email of real estate) how to fix this?   Common causes of this error are:

  -The DNS SRV records to locate an AD DC for the domain are not registered in DNS. These records are automatically saved with a DNS server when an AD domain controller is added to a domain. They are updated by the AD DC at set intervals. This computer is configured to use DNS servers with the following IP addresses:

  192.168.1.60

  -One or more of the following areas do not include delegation to its child zone:

  yewman.email
  E-mail
  . (the root zone)

• Connectivity to Active Directory/network of remote desktop resources

  We have a network of the issue of the standard with Active Directory.  We plan to take one of our employees and making them work from home.  Is it possible to simply take their workstation connected to Active Directory, and transport to their home, plug it into our network (via a VPN client) and have the user choose right there where they left (as if they were in the building on the real network)?  Has anyone tried this before?  How did it happen?

  LDAP user Root by default is to have all the privilege of access to all Ldap data.

  Go to the physical architecture and insert a new dataserver

  User - cn = root, dc = css, dc = hyperion, dc = com [change this according to your requirememnt for you it will be * cn = Administrator, dc = oracle, dc = com *]

  password - null

  JDBC

  driver JDBC: com.sunopsis.ldap.jdbc.driver.SnpsLdapDriver

  JDBC URL: jdbc:snps:ldap? ldap_url = ldap: / /.

  [for you it will be * jdbc:snps:ldap? ldap_url = ldap://ten.mydomain.com:636 / & ldap_password =ldap_basedn = dc = oracle, dc = com *]

  Here the default Ldap for the ROOT password is SECURITY and if it has changed or that you use for another user. Please use it.

  you will also need to encode the password by using this command

  Java - cp C:\OraHome_1\oracledi\drivers\snpsldapo.jar com.sunopsis.ldap.jdbc.driver.SnpsLdapEncoder

  Thereafter test connection and you should be able to connect successfully.

• Windows 7 crashes when adding a new active Directory user

  When I try to add a new user if user (connected to active directory) when I type accounts manage user accounts, it hangs it loads for more than 5 minutes. • How and when are ESXi 5.1 Services identified as (Active Directory) - they used?

  I tried to find documentation for the three ESX5.1 services to understand when they should be or should be used, but have found nothing to help.

  I have several 5.1 ESXi hosts managed by vCenter 5.1 (with SSO of course), as well as Active Directory configured as an identity Service.

  In addition, I joined the hosts ESXi 5.1 for the Active Directory domain to allow AD authentication for host management direct when necessary.

  It all works well, however, there are three Active Directory related services that are stopped, so I'm trying to determine if they should really be executed to perform certain functions that are not obvious to me at the moment.

  The three services are:

  • Local security authentication server (Active Directory Service)
  • Server connection network (Active Directory Service)
  • I/o Redirector (Active Directory Service)

  I believe that some or all of these services are related to the integration of the 'same' in ESXi, but this does not really explain what they are doing, especially since I see no problems with authentication.

  Any idea would be appreciated.

  OK, I answered my own question. Turns out that I had a confusing situation because I didn't have to reboot the host after the join domain operation.

  Now, all three services are started with the parameter 'Start and Stop with Host.

  So, while I have not seen any specific documents, it is clear enough, that these services are designed to run after the junction, that make sense.

  I wonder if someone has an experience of connection authentication active directory windows in BI of Oracle 11 g 11.1.1... Release. I have set up the LDAP with Microsoft AD (2003 Server) Protocol but I can connect with the main single user (who is a member of the ad group), but I can't connect through any other user in this group.
  
  I appreciate any advice/help in this regard.

  Not this one.please check it you LDAP team and get the

  good user and details of group objects. If you have permission you are LDAp server you find the user and group

  and then just right click and select object tab here you could see * (look at the canonical name of the object) * this path of the particular user structure... also you can generate the file LDIF.txt and find you're object.

  Hello, I was wondering if anyone had to set up BI Publisher with Active directory. We are on 11.1.1.1.7 OBIEE - integrated with Active Directory. It takes about 40-50 seconds to connect on:

  I'm unable to use credentials to access AD unit vCenter 5 via the vSphere client. I get an error message that I can log in because of 'incorrect user or password name' I am able to connect with this AD username and password for my vCenter 4.1, and environment to my RDP hosts by using the credentials of the AD, if AD works very well. And the password that I entered is correct.

  I could connect with AD credentials two weeks ago. Two weeks ago I stopped being able to connect with the credentials of the AD. I dropped back to the use of the local access through the vSphere client root user login. It seems that two weeks ago, my Oracle user passwords has expired. I fixed that by connecting to the EM console and responding to the command prompt to change the passwords. I've "changed" them to return the same password. Then, I subsequently put the limit password_life_time unlimited in the default profile. I tested since the vCSA admin interface the database settings. The settings saved and restarted the service VPXD.

  I have a 5.0.0 - 455964 vCenter device connected to an Oracle database. I activated the AD authentication in vCenter web admin GUI. I restarted vCenter Server Appliance after you have enabled this feature. I have validated that the time on the device of vCenter and the Active Directory zone are less than one second on the other. DNS forward and reverse unit number of AD and self-esteem are good. DNS is hosted on the AD controller, so I have connectivity between vCenter and AD. I run the query domainjoin-cli command and output is correct. I checked from the vSphere that my AD user customer and the ad group each received the Administrator role for the vCenter in the permissions screen object.

  You can write a piece of code JNDI just to create the connection via the SSL protocol and use JXplorer or LDAP browsers.

  Also check diagnostic Dashborad that provides you to check connectivity via the SSL protocol.
