Will be able to vmware's clastering

Hello dear community vmware.

My name is Vadim and I would ask if I want to create initialization with vmware but my servers not the same configuration of type (different processors, different hdd type (sas and scsi), another RAM memory)? I wanted to do the vMotion. It is perhaps will be able to do in defferent way?

Thank you. Kind regards.

The first issue I see is your first host the ML370G4 which is a very old box and is not on the HCL for the latest versions or ESXi.  also, there only 100 MB network cards and 4 GB of memory it would then be pointless for a virtualization host.  also, I'm not 100% sure but I don't think you can run 64 bit comments on this model because there is no VT on the BIOS extensions.

Also my earlier analysis, CVO will not help you because the chipset in the ML370 is too old.

I concentrate on the second host and improve his memory, this allows you to run multiple guests.

the result, it is with your hardware in its current form that you will not be able to create a cluster. as the models are too far apart.
