WiMAX adapter question...

Can anyone tell me please where a WiMAX adapter physically space on a ThikPad T400... I have no idea.

And also if not a concern, just explain what made a gain of a credit.

Thanks in advance.

Lenovo has used a card combo of wimax and Wi - Fi for the T400. So if you have the right combo card (which must be one that Lenovo FRU and must start from the list of supported cards), it's a direct replacement for the wifi card, you have right now.

Memory in the T400, he used an Intel wifi 5150 + card wimax or wifi Intel 5350 + wimax card.

  • VMWare Player wireless adapter question

I'm relatively new to VMWare Player and have a network problem.  I am running VMWare player with a Windows 7 host and the VM v4.04.

I use the VPN virtual machine and try to set up the virtual machine with the IP host wireless.

The virtual computer network is set to Bridged w/Replicate and detects the card physical network, State and IP without problem, however, it does not detect the adapter wireless at all.  It is not in the virtual computer Device Manager, the period of INVESTIGATION, nor the State...

What would be the right course of action?

    Thank you for your time.

BTW VMware Player 3.x and later to not install the virtual network Editor by default and you will need to install it manually...

To install the missing virtual network Editor, the command prompt:

    VMware-player-*.exe -e c:\vmptmp

Then in the c:\vmptmp folder find the file c:\vmptmp\network.cab and extract (double-click on the .cab file) vmnetcfg.exe (virtual network editor) file in the working directory of VMware Player usually 'C:\Program VMware Player' or ' C:\Program Files (x 86) \VMware\VMware Player.  You can create a shortcut and place it with the shortcut of VMware Player, if you want to access it more easily.  Note: there are some for all the files to be extracted to then access the network.cab file.

Is it possible to fill out a child process using factory adapters?

    For example:
-in the user profile I've defined a UDF, GroupWise alias
-update of this area, I would like to a trigger that will alter the child form UD_NGW_NICK (add a line containing the value of the UDF defined above)

    Thank you for your help,

    Hello

You know how a trigger to update the user field and then its simple becoming to fill the child table. Here's what you need to do.

1 having this change + name task in your deployment process on the ground.
    2. connect an adapter to this task.
    3. in the adapter, you can write your code to fill in the child table. You can use tcFormInstanceOperationsIntf to fill the child table.

Please let me know if you still have problems by doing this I can help you in that.

  • dv6t WiMAX

I'm waiting for delivery on my laptop dv6tQE.  I just learned about wimax technology.  I am interested in this because I spend a lot of time outside of a wireless signal and won't pay for cell phone coverage (e.g. 4 G).

My notebook will contain the "802.11b/g/n WLAN" standard for wireless networks.  Who will accept the WIMAX?  If this is not the case, is the networking on a replaceable map or it is wired to the MOBO?  If the latter, there at - it an available adapter?

WiMAX is different from a Wi - Fi connection. It covers a wider area, as you probably know, and operates in a range of different frequencies. I think that it is not yet widely available, but. There are adapters of material which will be inserted in the mini-pcie slot which traditionally held the wi - fi adapter, which can receive the wimax or wifi Intel WiMAX/WiFi Link 5350 and Intel® WiMAX/WiFi Link 5150. I don't see that HP offered this card in the dv6t series. With HPs only "approved" WiFi cards can pass the test of BIOS POST. Any other card inserted in the player blocks the accounting system. In other words, it seems that you do not have an option for "integrated" WI - MAX, but probably use an USB WIMAX adapter. I think Motorola did a.

  • ThinkPad T400 WiMAX mystery!

I can see in the BIOS there is a WiMAX listed adapter (this is the ThinkPad T400 (2768-AD3)) and on the Lenovo support page / drivers section for the same exact model list: Intel WiMAX 6250 AGN and Intel Wireless 5150 WiMAX, but during the installation of the people, it is said:... .no WiMAX adapter was detected on your computer. It is possible to proceed with the installation, but nothing happens. So I'm a little confused here, she actually WiMAX adapter or does not?

Some machines shipped with WiMax / it's a snap accessory optional - just like webcam, fingerprint reader, etc. It's just like having the owner of the car of the manual. Even if you have purchased only the base model with a tape recorder there could be instructions for a CD player, CD changer, navigation system.

If you have it turned off I suggest you to activate it.

To activate it follow the steps below:

  • Drivers needed WLAN for Satellite C855-1KP, Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite C855-1KP, part PSKCAE-04600QG5 number, and I can't find the driver wireless on the web.
I scanned my laptop TOSHIBA PC Diagnostic toll-free and appear to the network:

Network Realtek RTL8723AE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC = version = MAC address

All my drivers I downloaded from www.Toshiba.com, all worked, except the wireless driver.

I tried already some wireless drivers from Intel (Intel PRoSet/Wireless Software and the Intel PRoSet/Wireless WiMAX software), but they give me an error that I couldn't solve (the WiMAX adapter was missing, and the error code was 0 x 302).

I don't know what else to do. Please help me if you can.

    Andrew

You can download from the portal Toshiba WLAN - latest version of the driver http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/
