Win 7 Enterprise or copy of the final evaluation

In Win 7 Setup for MCTS 70-680 exam. Looking for a free trial of Win 7 Ultimate or business. I see that the eval http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/default Center has win 8 available, but the list is no longer 7. Is it still available?

Ganesh, thank you very much for your answer.

It is a practice for exam MCTS 70-680 and other Microsoft certification exams. Students studying for certifications will be looking for and need to earlier versions of the software.  Low cost or copies of evaluation must be available.

Fortunately, I was able to download Win 7 Ultimate from Digital River and borrowed a copy of Vista.

You can rearm Windows 7 complete edition up to 120 days. I hope this will give you enough time to complete your course.

Click Start, type: command prompt

Click with the right button on command prompt

Click on run as administrator

At the command prompt, type:

slmgr-rearm

Press enter on your keyboard

    Hi all:

I have Windows 8 Preview double version started with Windows 7 and since missing out on sales of windows 8 $40 student never succeeded in upgrading to the preview version. All works even better than win 7 because my PC has low spec, it stops every 2 hours. It worries me because win 7 users can now try to win 10 through Win 7 upgrade without messing with ISO images, what happens when a few dozen win final release comes out, they will have to re - install win 7 to avoid interruptions at determined intervals if they choose to not upgrade? Yes, it will expire. Current previews of 10 Windows such as Windows 10 Technical Preview build 9841, 9860, 9879 all will expire April 15, 2015.

It worries me because win 7 users can now try to win 10 through Win 7 upgrade without messing with ISO images, what happens when a few dozen win final release comes out, they will have to re - install win 7 to avoid interruptions at determined intervals if they choose to not upgrade?

Microsoft has officially made a tweet made their intention is intended for users who upgrade to the current releases of preview of Windows 10 they want users to be able to upgrade these glimpses into the final version.

Please note that this is their intention, anything can happen in the final version, so it is always recommended that you do not replace your production facility in Windows 7, 8/8.1, Vista with Windows 10. Please note that Windows 10 is also the recovery partitions unusable if you upgrade, requiring that you use a support of recovery actually reinstall your original Windows copy if you need to return.

In addition, Microsoft didn't intend to do 10 Windows one product appeal, then you can buy the final version some way somehow.

  • Since the final Win XP update, my XP PC freezes a lot.

I have a Win7 PC for everyday use and an old box of Win XP in my home studio for recording audio. It worked fine for quite a long time.

After recording not for 8 months, I did some work on this subject, it worked absolutely fine. Then when I stopped that day, he had a truck loaded with Win XP updates including the final XP updates.

Every time since then, one I start, 5 6 sometimes it freezes dead instantly loading the desktop, either less than a minute. The hard lock. No CTRL ALT DEL doesn't work. I have to reset hard.

I can't afford a replacement PC soon, and I need that box back immediately for the recording of the work.

A valid reason the latest XP update would be basically brick my PC?

And Yes, I have a Win 7 CD. And probably another facility left in this topic. But I doubt that Win 7 will install on this PC.

I'm more than a little upset.

You can uninstall Windows XP was last updated in starting mode safe mode and uninstall and then Control Panel.

Restart the machine when he turns again hit the F8 key and then start in safe mode.

From there go into Add / Remove programs and top-right check "show updates."

Scroll to the bottom of the list and look under Windows XP software updates.

From there, you can uninstall the updates which could be the cause of the problem, and then reinstall them using Microsoft Update

  • tried to install a new copy of Windows XP Home. Everything is OK until the final phase, when the "blue-screen" appeared during the installation of the drivers.

Installation of xp and blue screen of death

    Hello

I recently formatted the partition boot and recovery of a laptop Medion2230, then merged the two partitions in a single NTFS partition.  Don't ask why, it's a long story.

Then, tried to install a new copy of Windows XP Home.  Everything is OK until the final phase, when the "Blue Screen of death" appeared during the installation of the drivers. Restarted and installing XP as normal to repeat the first onboard staged and went to the "blue screen" at the same point as before.

Using some diagnostic software, I reformatted the drive again, loaded XP set up and I had the same problem.

    Someone knows what to do?

    Thank you allionii123

Now solved and pc with Windows XP home.

Discovered a trick online, who said that at the beginning of XP installation, press F5, and this leads to a screen option - select 'standard pc' and continue with the installation of XP.

    Worked the first time.

How to impose a layer of HAL during an upgrade or an installation of Windows XP

    Impose a HAL

To prevent Windows XP to automatically determine the system HAL during the upgrade or installation of Windows XP, you can manually force in a system HAL. To impose an Abstraction Layer HAL during a upgrade or installation of Windows XP, follow these steps:

    1. During the phase in text mode of Setup, when you receive the message at the bottom of the screen, press F5:

Press F6 if you need to install a third-party RAID or SCSI driver.

Note If you press F7, the Standard PC HAL loads and the ACPI enforcement is bypassed.

I would not need this except in the systems of many older and low end... :-(  After all, in the same article, for Standard PC they say: "the CPU can be a 386, 486, Pentium, Pentium II, or Pentium III '...

Thanks for letting us know what you were doing.  Do you have all the necessary drivers after loading Windows XP?  I would not recommend using the default drivers for any hardware - always see what the manufacturer offers on their web page for each component of your system - card motherboard chipset, audio, video, network devices, etc.

  • Photo Story 3 do not install or work on the final version of Windows 8

I received an email from a family member who said...

"I have a question of photo story. Last night, I installed Windows 8 preview version on Win 7 64-bit PCs who had installed photo story to test if it would work on 8 to win. It worked with a mouse problem, that I got with the program under Win 7. So, today, I bought a copy of win 8 and installed on the PC even after reinstalling Win 7 and Photo Reportage on the PC. This time I get the message this Photo story is not compatible with Windows 8. What gives. It works on preview but not the final version. Am I missing something? Can I make it work? »

My personal experience with 12 apps I've tried so far Photo Story 3 is the only one who is not to install or work on the 9200 Build Windows 8 enterprise.
We've been through the same thing when Windows 7 is released. Photo Story 3 worked on the preliminary but abruptly stopped when the final version has been published. He solved and works fine on Windows 7.

I managed to install Photo Story 3 on Windows 8 Enterprise x 64 and Windows Enterprise 8.1 Preview x 64.  I also discovered exactly what it breaks, and I guess that's what beat Photo Story 3 for people on Windows 7: LegitCheckControl.dll

If you download from the Microsoft Web site through the alternative method the photo story 3 application will install and work fine.  If however you choose to install the ActiveX Windows Genuine Advantage version, it installs the LegitCheckControl.dll, some registry settings and will result in the following errors.

    Setup error:

"Photo Story 3 for Windows cannot be installed on this version of Windows. Check the system requirements for photo story 3 for Windows before attempting to install the program".

    Error launching application:

"Photo Story 3 for Windows cannot run this version of Windows.  Check the requirements for photo story 3 for Windows before trying to execute it."

While the problem is happening, you can install Photo Story 3 on systems that are affected by the WGA ActiveX components through the command line with the following example:

    MsiExec.exe /i Pstory.msi/passive SKIPOSCHECK = 1 NOLEGITCHECK = 1

    To solve two problems:

As the installation of the ActiveX program does not include an uninstall program, the best solution is to rename the WGA DLL via PowerShell or command line as an administrator for that photo story may find it is no longer, and so you can enable it again in the future without problem.

    Windows x 86:

    PS: "Rename-Item $env:windir\System32\LegitCheckControl.DLL LegitCheckControl.Disabled.DLL.

    CMD: "rename %windir%\System32\LegitCheckControl.DLL LegitCheckControl.Disabled.DLL.

    Windows x 64:

    PS: "Rename-Item $env:windir\SysWOW64\LegitCheckControl.DLL LegitCheckControl.Disabled.DLL.

    CMD: 'rename %windir%\SysWOW64\LegitCheckControl.DLL LegitCheckControl.Disabled.DLL.

  • Upstream 13: make a copy of the USB of computer image 13 Stream

It has come to my attention that the image USB copy that I compiled may not be usable as a way to reinstall windows 8.1?
I learned that the Scandisc USB flash drives which I used are not designed as a way of copying and for the resettlement of same OS if the disk image I can say copied ok. This has now been confirmed by Scandisc. The question is now how do I make use of the unique copy of my computer image I have on my flash Scandisc disc and what USB memory keys are designed to provide a useful computer image copy?
I hope someone can advise me on this.

First of all, make sure that you start from the USB port. On the portable stream you constantly hit the ESC key when you turn it on to bring up the BIOS Menu in the upper left of the screen. Choose Boot Options then choose USB Flash Drive and it will boot to a screen that says select your keyboard type.

On mine US is by default I chose that.

Now, click on the button problems. Click Reset your PC.

Select the target operating system. Windows 8.1 should be there. If it says Windows 10 and you want to come back to win 8.1 choose it anyway.

Then, after clicking on the target operating system you will see a screen that says: 'This is what will happen', click Next, and then click YES, repartition the disks.

Make sure you choose the option in the final stage, which said just delete my files. Do not select the option completely clean.

Wait 45 minutes and your system is restored from the factory.

  • Cannot copy AVSEQ01: the parameter is incorrect

It is a copy of a publication in the field of technology, I did. If this isn't the appropriate forum, let me know where to post. Thank you.

I'm having a problem. I am trying to copy a. DAT file to a VCD on my hard drive. This particular file is between 600 and 650 MB. When you try to copy the file, I get the following error message: cannot copy AVSEQ01: the parameter is incorrect

There are two others. DAT files on the CD that I am able to copy, the most important of which is only 13 MB.

I'm on a Win XP SP3 update. Readers to that I copy are NTFS.

The last time I had a similar error I was copying MP3 to DVD files on my hard drive. I found myself finally Mac sister to borrow and copy the files to an external hard drive.

  • Install driver OfficeJet Pro X476dw on Win 7 Enterprise 64 bits without administrator rights

    Hi all

I have an OfficeJet Pro X476dw for my home office and I would like to use this printer on my company PC. Unfortunately the standard company of Win7 64 bit installation does not come with a set of drivers for the OfficeJet Pro X476dw. Unfortunately my company does not allow installation of company not certified pilots and they decline my request to certify the official HP drivers. So my question:

is there any driver easily integrated in Windows 7 which could be used to run the X476dw of OfficeJet Pro

    Any advice is welcome!

    Best regards

    EMVH

    Thanks Futoji,

Meanwhile, I figured out how to fix it for my Win 7 Enterprise 64-bit:

    (1) download the PCL 6 printer with installer driver

    (2) run the Installer (which will fail)

    (3) get the extracted files (must be in c:\users\ (you'll identify it through the most recent date, the copy path))

    (4) kick-off detection routine printer using 'Add printer' > ' add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.

    (5) take the printer without specification of 3911 port

    (6) select 'have disk... '. "and will give the driver (path of the dough)

    (7) select HP OfficeJet Pro X476dw MFP PCL6 driver

    (8) test

    It worked for me.

    Best regards
