  The file is probably still in the temporary Internet files. Copy this line:

  Search-MS:DisplayName=temp%20Files&crumb=ext%3Adoc**&crumb=location:shell:cache%5CContent.IE5

  Now press Windows - E Alt - D Ctrl - V enter

  This should show all Word recently saved in the Internet files temporary files. Good luck!

  PS Si the file is, please copy in your documents folder before anything else. Open the copy to work.

  If you are upgrading Windows XP, you will only be able to bring along your personal files. But as I mentioned earlier, if something should go wrong during the upgrade, you may lose all your files. An ounce of backup protection is worth a pound of unrecoverable files!

  As all your PDF documents are now appear as a word file, please right-click on any PDF file icon and choose ' open with... > choose default program > Adobe Acrobat XI "and click OK.

  This will open the PDF with Acrobat files only and not Word.

  Then, you can try to convert PDF into word via Adobe Reader.

  Windows 7 can't save the file after I've updated yesterday. I can't save any file of all applications including Microsoft office (Word, excel, Powerpoint etc), I can't save any download from the internet to my download folder. I tried to save it to my second hard drive, once again, I keep the same error message "there is no file.

  I tired to restore three different restore point... No luck

  I deleted some save the file and record a new restore point... .no luck

  I did a full scan with Comodo antivrus... No Virus found

  I did a full scan for the horses of malware and Trojan... etc... nothing

  I restart windows in safe mode... still nothing

  I also made a... corrupted files etc System File Checker using back order... SFC/scannow, check, verifyfile... nothing

  I can't save my work. I'm helpless

  I found the solution to this problem, please see below:

  Try to enable iSCSI in Panel of-->--> iSCSI initiator administrative tools. If that is disabled, that is the problem (it works for me!).

• Replacement of a special character for word files and convert docx to doc

  I'm developing a tool for our team. Withouth as much detail that I have to watch a lot of special characters in a Word file (docx, but I should also convert doc, but later on this topic) than these special characters with others to change.

  For example, word replaces... with a character, but other software we can't handle this character. So now I have an excel spreadsheet that has special characters in one column and those I want to replace them by in the next. One who is now a constant loop is the replacement of the... with... (with a space between the two points)

  The small tool worked very well on a test document where I just dropped in all the characters I want replaced. I tried with the doc type should be used on and it starts an infinite loop of spamming characters. I will attach a picture of the sniplet of code and an image of what it does in the document now.

  Can someone help me with this? I tried increment the range after that I found something but it does not change the problem. I can't join the VI unfortunately.

  I also convert the docx files doc files (I think that the 2007 version?) If anyone can help with this? So far, I have tried to do a macro in word and use an activex magic to copy the macro, but I hit hard walls everywhere...
