Re: Apex 4.2 frequent forced logout

I'm trying to update my interlocutor of 2.0.0 215.16.35 to 2.0.0 354.17.05, although the notes do suggest any relief.

I unpacked the listener files in a new folder, quit my former listener and try to start a new offline - in accordance with the old one, but I am getting an access denied on a folder

Due to: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\Scott\AppData\Local\Temp\apex
*\apex\WEB-INF\standalone.jar (access denied) *.

This happens even when I run command prompt as an administrator on Windows 7 using XE11 on computer laptop 64 bit. Here is the complete result
cd c:\apex_listener2.0\
java -jar apex.war standalone --apex-images \apex4.2\images

Hello
Windows 7 has some extra security features, I think they have been introduced in Vista, first. Maybe one of these things. Maybe you have full administrator rights.
See http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/54769-full-admin-rights.html

See you soon,.

  • Cannot delete a folder in Windows 7, file access denied error

When I try to delete a file in my main account from Windows 7, he asked permission of the administrator. I agree with permission but then he said: I need the permission of the account holder. 3. Click on the Advanced button

  • Cannot install printers on Windows 7. Access denied!

It's so frustrating, I bought a new HP laptop with Window7 64 bit and install anything is a challenge. I finally was getting all of my installed software, but I can't install printers! I've even logged on as 'hidden' administrator and could not do. Two printers I've tried are a series of HP PSC 2500 and a Lexmark X 6570. I downloaded the packages of installation for each.

The Lexmark software installed, but not the printer - but I don't have an error. The HP install process stops and says "access denied." I must emphasize that I connect wireless printing and have not (yet) tried to connect via a USB cable. Maybe it would help... but the PC seems to be detect wireless printers.

    TIA,

    Jules

Add a network to launch the command line printer

    printui /ip

Select TCP/IP (or search for network printers) printer

Enter the IP address or the host name for the device

With the HP, use Windows Update (I'm sure that the driver has been included in Vista).

For the Lexmark device, select the driver in the list of installed drivers.

If the port does not automatically set up you will need to check that the computer can ping you the IP addresses of printers. Alan Morris Windows printing team; Here Microsoft Knowledge Base search: http://support.microsoft.com/search/Default.aspx?adv=1

  • old files of windows - cannot remove - access denied

    Original title: access denied

I have two HD in an old windows files remaining and I want to delete what is not delete and I tried to delete to CMD and also modified the CMD properties but at the controls, he always gives access denied. My window is 7 64

    {E: rd /s "filename"}

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query to the Microsoft forum. I will definitely help you with this.

This problem occurs because the Recycle Bin does not recognize mounted volumes. For example, assume that the structure of the next unit is used:

C drive is drive 1 gigabyte (1 GB) that uses the NTFS file system.
C:\Host-dir is the mount point for a separate 9-GB drive.

If you try to delete a folder with the path C:\Host-dir\Mydir, Windows Explorer interprets the folder as being on drive C and tries in vain to move it to the trash on the C drive.

Use the SHIFT + DELETE key combination. This allows to bypass the Recycle Bin.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you run the command in elevated command prompt and see if it helps below.

    1. Go to Start, click all programs and open the Accessories.
    2. Right-click on command prompt in the list programs, and then select run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click OK.
    3. In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:
    • TAKEOWN /F C: /A

4 then try to run the following command.

    • TAKEOWN /F C:

This will give you the admin and your permissions of full account to all files on the C: drive

Method 2: Activate hidden admin account

    1. press Windows + R keyboard button.

    2. type cmd in the run bar.

    3. in the command prompt , type this command: net user administrator / Active: Yes

    4. press enter and restart the computer.

Try to delete the folder Window.old .

If you are able to do so disable the hidden admin account.

To do this, follow the steps:

    1. press Windows + R keyboard button.

    2. type cmd in the run bar.

    3. in the command prompt , type this command: net user administrator / active: No.

    4. press enter and restart the computer.

  • I can't remove Windows 7 user - access denied

    Hello

I can't remove a user of Windows 7 that I created. I don't know the user in Control Panel.

When I created the user I tried to make my computer as a VPN server.

    I did these steps:

(Here is the original tutorial: http://www.howtogeek.com/135996/how-to-create-a-vpn-server-on-your-windows-computer-without-installing-any-software/)

1: open the startmenu and open "ncpa.cpl" (this will open network connections)

2: click on the spare key to be able to click on 'File' in the menu

3 'new incoming Connection"(and I got a list of users)

4: I created a new user in this window, called "jonathanvpn".

next steps is not important, the user is created. and I can't delete the user "jonathanvpn".

I don't find in the control panel. just my account and an inactive STRP. (I am the computer administrator)

I also tried in the CMD (command Promt) to type net "user jonathanvpn" and I can't find the user. I saw information about the user.

Now, I tried to type net "user jonathanvpn/del" in trying to remove the user, but it says "access denied."

How can I remove this user?

    Hello

    ·        What is the case for the two user accounts?

You can try to create a new user account with administrator privileges and check if you are able to transfer the files. If you are able to transfer files using the new user account, then this is the problem with the permissions on the drive.

To apply permissions to a file or a folder

    (a) right click on drive C:\ then clickProperties.

    (b) click on anti-terrorism tab and then click on edit.

    (c) do one of the following:

    ·        To set permissions for a user who is not quoted underGroup or user names, click Add, type the name of the user or group, click OK, select the permissions, and then click OK.

    ·        To change or remove permissions for a user or an existing group, click the name of the user or group, select the permissions, and then click OK.

Also, check if your computer is infected with a virus.

    Hope this information is useful.

Original title: portable destroyed - need for car access

I don't know if this is the right forum - please advice if it is not.

My friend's laptop computer was destroyed in a car accident. I pulled the drive and placed it in my desktop XP system and the drive appear in good health. However, I received permission issues trying to access records on the disk and thought that it was because of me using Win XP and the laptop was Win7x64. My questions below are based on the assumption that I'm not able to access these files on my Win XP system. If this assumption is incorrect, so please let me know.

I have a laptop that I don't use and put the disk in it. I was hoping it would be plug and play all the new material, but after reading a little online, I know that this is not the best thing to do and will probably not work as did the earlier versions of Windows.

In the end, I care retrieves the contents of the disc, although it would be great if I could lend my laptop for a few weeks with "its files" until it sorts how to replace the laptop.

Can I get the player Win7x64 working on the laptop computer of replacement by reinstalling Win7x64 on this laptop? I'm not "means a clean install/reformat, but have rather the Setup program detects an existing installation, and do its magic to get the operating system runs on new hardware?"

I know that this raises questions of MS licenses. If the installation process could get his old system running on the laptop replacement, if I have a small window of time completely to access his files before being forced to re-register the OS? I'm hoping so.

I'm looking for only a short-term solution - I do not recommend that he hopes that drive long term because the laptop got quite truncated of the accident, and once he gets a new laptop it will have everything he needs on this subject (OS, licenses, etc.). If I have a small window of time where I can simply copy their important files, or to lend him my laptop with its player and him can bring to its domestic network and the print out of all the things that are important, that it's going to be all together to move them to a new laptop when it is available.

    Thank you

    Hello

You experience this problem because of the permissions applied to these s folder.  To resolve this problem, you will need to take ownership of these files and folders.

Method 1: You can follow the steps mentioned in the link below to take possession of the records

Troubleshoot "access denied" when opening files or folders

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/troubleshoot-access-denied-when-opening-files-or-folders

Also check out the article below

How to capture a file or a folder in Windows XP
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/308421

Method 2:  You can try a custom installation (not a format\clean facility).

See the link below for custom installation
using the install option custom without formatting the hard drive

Note: In custom installation only data would be transferred in Windows. Drivers, applications and the old folder will need to be reinstalled.
