Windows Vista Photo Gallery - change default values
I would like to change the default check mark when printing in the library. The default seems to tick the box 'adapt to the chassis. I would like to make the default value to leave out the check in the box. Sounds easy... but I have not found a way.
Any help appreciated.
Harry
Hi harry015,
What exactly happens when you try to print the photos?
There is no option to save the changes to uncheck the option adjust to the photo frame and it goes back to default whenever you launch printing.
Because your problem is by design, I would recommend leaving your comments to the following address:

Windows (vista) Photo Gallery matter duplicates
Photo Gallery only import new photos and ignore duplicates of those already on the top of the tower. I just inserted a 1 GB card (I used this card for ages and I know it's ok) and he wants to import all content (more than 800) when I know there are only a few dozen new photos there. I experimented with a smaller map and lot (only 30 or MORE) were imported as duplicates, but when I asked to import again it said (accurately) that there are no new photos on the map, what is happening?

Windows Vista Photo Gallery has a sharpness function
I have not found if she is there. Ideas? And if the Vista Photo Gallery does not have the ability, are there free downloads that are safe for digital sharpening?
There are different versions of Windows Photo Gallery
and some may have different options, but if you select
"Adjust the details"... it should reveal a sharpness slider. -
I would like to have the use of two Photo Gallery Windows for quick photo simply adjustments (Windows Vista version) and Windows Live Photo Gallery the two on my new desktop computer running Windows 7. Is this possible and if so how I do it?
Hi DerekMan,
· Why do you want to use Windows Photo Gallery in Windows Vista on Windows 7?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to have the version of Windows Live Photo Gallery in Windows Vista running on Windows 7.
You can install the windows live photo gallery and give the link to download and install the windows live photo gallery. Alternatively, you can install both versions of photo gallery integrated 7-live windows photo gallery.
In Windows 7 Windows Photo Gallery has additional options as in Windows Vista, you can visit the article to learn more about the functionality of Windows Photo Gallery in Windows 7.

I use vista and if I put a .jpg on the desktop image I open it with any normal program 'open with', with the exception of the Windows Photo Gallery.
If I create a folder on the desktop and then to move the image in the folder it opens very well as usual. I logged as a different user on the same computer to test if this office was undergoing the same wierdness. These are the works very well as it is supposed to. Accordingly, I find that there are some bad configured "widget" on my main desktop of the user to open the image files automatically when they are on the desk.
How to restore the default double click of the image so this Windows Photo Gallery it opens on the desktop?
OK, I found the reason and the solution. I want to thank myself to resolve this weird behavior of Vista
the problem occurs because a URL (web link), you have on the desktop is too long. something like a link to google maps for example or something else Street which is more then 64 characters is originally the Gallery windows to screw up. Why these two files different, sitting on the desktop may be related, I don't know, but they are.
find the link that is the author of the offence and delete or move elsewhere and out of your office and bingo! your desktop image viewer works again.
HOW TO FIX:
I found the easy long url because there were only a few links on my desk so if you have a lot and you are not sure which one is, simply create a folder called 'junk url' and move all web links in this directory. Now, you will see that your office is working again as it should so that you know that one of those that you moved is bad. Now, to pull everyone out, one at a time on your desktop and keep stable your .jpg image to see if it considers the image. One of these URLS will begin his shows do not and when you check the properties of this url, you will see that it is a super long address. One who is bad - get rid of him and now your fixed. -

Windows Live Photo Gallery does not use default printer
When I print from Windows Live Photo Gallery it always by the incorrect printer default. By default, it uses the fax printer. All other characters to the right printer progames be default. And under priners Control Panel, it shows the green check mark on the printer default right. If I change to a photo printer, it prints very well. But then the next image always defaults to the fax printer. I use Vista 32 bit. The version of Windows Live Photo Gallery is 14.0.8064.206. The printer is a HP C7180. And I have the latest version of the driver.
Is there a way to get Windows Live Photo Gallery to use the default printer? Thanks for your help. Harry Karr
I think that the part Ne03 refers to a network or shared printer that is connected to your machine. For what it's worth, I have this entry in my registry.
HP Photosmart C4380 series, winspool, Ne02: so your entry (to me) seems pretty good.
Have you clicked on your HP printer and select the option "Run As Administrator" / Properties / Security and checked permissions, such that manage printers, records management, to ensure that everything is all right in there?
I'm still thinking possible "Bug", but are happy to be contradicted.

set default Windows Live Photo Gallery
I use Win 7 for many years but I started only recently strongly use Online Photo Editor. I always open to looking at pictures in Photo Viewer, and then decide if I want to open them and with which application. Early on, I checked the box for "No. did not use this as the default and don't ask me again". Now I changed my mind, but I can't figure out how to find this manual setting. Can it be changed after the initial decision was made?

When I click on Edit: select all and file: rename to rename all the pictures in a file, Windows Photo Gallery changes the order of the photos in the file when it renames them. I need all the photos in their original order as many of them are sequential in nature, so how do I rename all the pictures in a file and make them come out in the original order after renaming?
Thanks for any help...
Once rename you them, it shows them in this order,
Depending on how you have renamed them, you could look in the records of the event, or an association of tag system, because wlpg bed than the names that the order in which he plays or show thumbnails,
The exception would be if you did a slide show you can rearrange the way they play by dragging them around.
Also, I think you should consider tags group and no file file rename.
