  • Wallpaper changes automatically after the computer restarts in Windows 7 Home Premium.

Original title: Windows wallpaper change and the creation of new theme when the computer starts.

    Hello everyone!

I had a problem of late with my brand new computer. Whenever I have connection or restart my computer, Windows 7 Home Premium past my wallpaper by himself to a wallpaper I had before, I deleted. When I right click and go to personalize, itmade its own unsaved theme . I delete the theme, select the theme that I wanted, close the window and it will return to normal for the length of time connected. However, even once, when I restart the computer or reconnect after I disconnect, he made this wholeagain!

Does anyone have any idea why it would do that?

    Data sheet:

    • ASUS G73JH-A1
    • Windows 7 Home Premium
    • Intel Core i7 720QM
    • ATI Radeon 5870
    • When you play a game, the computer uses about 1-2% CPU.

  • How to change the wallpaper on my desktop... I have Win 7 on my computer dell laptop... Thank you!

I sought an answer from Firefox and saw the words 'skins' and ' persona more ' that I do not understand.

Are you talking about the Windows desktop or in the theme of Firefox?

Personas are customizable skins allowing users to select simple themes to use, more easily than normal themes. Although initially only available as an extension, the functionality has been integrated in Firefox 3.6.

Personas Plus extends the functionality of the Personas above.

  • How can I save my wallpaper in a printable file?

I downloaded an image on the internet, thinking that I was saving it as a download, but also a wallpaper. Unfortunately, it's on my desk, but no where else to be found. I don't remember the site it came from, but I want a picture of the background and don't know how to copy in a printable file, any help? Thanks for your help!

If you simply... right click an image on the web
and selected, it must be "Set as desktop background..."
    classified "Internet Explorer.bmp"

And... If you go to the following location, you
    should prove.

    C:\Documents and Settings\ > user name<\Application>
    Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Panneau Internet Explorer.bmp configuration

It's a hidden file... If you do not...
    Change the following setting.

    Windows XP:
Reach... Control Panel / folder Options / View tab.
... To check "Show the hidden files and folders" / apply / OK.

When you find the file, right-click / copy...
Go to the desktop... right click / Paste.

FWIW... Default Windows wallpaper should be in the
    following folder:

    C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper

  • Wallpaper does not change

No matter how I try to change my desktop background, it always remains as the default windows wallpaper
If I click on an image and choose 'Set as wallpaper' I still get this error

    I went to my
    C:\Users\Kristian\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes
and tried to work with TranscodedWallpaper.jpg and the slideshow.ini but without any result

If I choose Customize from the office, then click on the desktop background, then at the top choose my picture or a picture file nothing happens this time even not the error.

    How can I fix?

    Thank you
    But nothing has been resolved
A clean boot does not affect the error
I tried all methods in "Unable to change the background image in Windows 7", but there is nothing to fix, since everything was fine.
I still got the same error

The C:\user\Kristian\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows Photo Viewer\Windows photo viewer wallapaper.jpg file could not be written

Please check the permissions on this file and try again

But luckily I found the solution
    Exactly in the directory
    C:\user\Kristian\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows Photo Viewer\
There was a picture called "Windows photo viewer wallapaper.jpg.
This image file was apparently somehow prevents me to change my background, responsible for this error.
I removed it and everything was fine and the error disappeared.

    Hey Amir,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forums and thanks for your post about it.

Want to know where you can get the other start screen themes and background for Windows 8 outside the themes and background images already present images in Windows 8 by default.

Let me inform you that we will not be able to add additional themes and backgrounds for the splash screen in Windows 8. However, it is possible for the desktop interface. If you want to add backgrounds and additional desktop themes, you can visit these links and then download your favorite themes and background images.

  • How to change the time of the groundswell of screen?

Recently, I was interested by using the Windows wallpaper blade. I used some cool wallpapers, but... I've found an option to change the time each painted remnants of paper.
Even searched the Internet a way to do it, but only found tutorials where the option to do that appeared in the paper options painted here, it is not, as in this photo: http://i.imgur.com/eOgUM.png
So... got a long way to make this option to change the paper painted to appear every time? Some editing the registry, or something?
    Already, thanks for the reply.

    Possible reason...

You have a scroll bar on the side right that we do not have. (I have Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit). It's because your window is too small.

Either move you your scroll bar down, or expand your desktop background window, you will see the option missing?

  • Flash crash on Ctrl +.

    Good afternoon

Recently I had a completely weird problem with Flash CS5 Pro bothering me no end.

Whenever I hit it Ctrl + more (the keyboard shortcut for zoom in). Flash will disappear completely in my taskbar, as if it broke down. However, looking at the Task Manager, although nothing can be seen in "Applications", less "process Flash is always visible.

To restart the Flash, I have to manually kill the process, and reopen it.

This does not occur when you use the manual zoom on the toolbar controls, nor happens when I Zoom out via the shortcut (Ctrl + minus sign)

Even if I reassign to another combo button, the zoom feature ([like Ctrl +]) it will still crash on me, making me think this isn't a conflict with another program. I temporarily just completely disabled the shortcut zoom altogether.

Someone else has encountered this error and have no idea what I can do? It drives me batty, because zoom is a fairly constant frame of my work.

I am running Windows 7 Enterprise.

I know that this post is pretty old, but I hope that someone else who falls on the problems of the following solution might help.

I found that Flash CS5 was that collide with the nView Desktop Manager. Once I disabled this (by right-clicking on your Windows wallpaper and choosing disable) is no longer crashed on some shortcuts.

The problem occurred only for me when I used Ctrl +; (semicolon) to show/hide guides and also on Ctrl + B which should show a message box NV - the only way I found out what was causing the problem.

    Hope that helps.
