With Windows XP SP3: How to find the temporary Internet files in C:\Documents and Settings of the user?

While making a sweep of the AV, I see the files under analysis I want to remove it from my computer. All I can remember for the location of the files is C:\Documents and Settings of the user... I guess that the question is what will be called as temporary Internet files (under Windows 95). What should I do to access the folder where the files are stored?

Tools / folder options. Discover tab show hidden and protected system files

Use ccleaner do... Install, then run it.

  • How can I access temporary Internet files for the site that I have visited, it must be stored somewhere.

Microsoft IE, I can access temporary Internet files through tools / Internet Options / browsing history, where I can find all the site, the pages and photos that I visited sorted by date or type or other.
This feature I couldn't understand where in Firefox or if it is available or not.
However, Firefox is amazing and I would like if you can provide this option

In Firefox, it is called the cache, for more details of this kind of situation topic: cache in the address bar and press to enter.

For security reasons, the files in the cache are given random file names, so it is hard to see the content. CacheViewer etension can be useful for you.

  • How can I get WindowsExplorer to a "LOCKED" folder "Documents and Settings".

Using Win-7-home-Prem - I believe that the "Documents and Settings" folder is 'locked' and is not accessible through Windows Explorer file manager.  .
I am the only user of the UAC - and show as an administrator.  I tried two ways to install - as administrator WITH and WITHOUT a partner... user password but it seemed to make no difference.

I tried to change the "sharing", and the permissions associated with that folder and its content - but after completing the steps, "If APPLICABLE" returns a failure message.

Whether or not it is wise to have access to the file in this folder, there no way to do this?

    Thank you

Documents and Settings is not a real file in Windows 7.

It is called a crossroads and was created to allow the existing programs for interfacing with the Windows 7 folder structure.

    Windows 7 uses these files

    Username C:\Users\*Your * \Appdata

    Username C:\Users\*Your * \Documents

    AppData is a hidden folder.

  • is it safe to delete the files in c:/documents and settings/user/recent

I have a load dupe files shortcut in c:/documents and settings/user/recent folder... is it safe to delete them?

Yes, it is completely safe to remove them because they are just useless shortcuts - is useful if you frequently use "Recent Documents" on the Start Menu.

  • Trying to connect Xbox 360 to Internet using laptop with Windows 7, but am not finding the 'Share' button in the network connections and I don't have the ability to "bridge connections".

Sorry about the long title, but it pretty much says my problem. I am trying to connect my Xbox 360 to my Windows7 laptop with the ethernet cable. I have a home network that the wireless laptop works out of. When I go into the control panel network connections section, I can't find the 'Sharing' tab that says that every tutorial I can find there should be. Tutorials can say to go to the screen that shows your wireless connections, highlight your home network and the network to your Xbox and then right click and press "bridge connections". I do not have the option for bridge connections. Can anyone help?

After having connected the laptop and Xbox with an Ethernet cable, you should be able to enable sharing of Internet connection on the wireless network connection:

    1. Make sure that the two network connections are enabled.
    2. Right click on the wireless network connection.
    3. Click on Properties .
    4. Click sharing .
    5. Put a check mark in the check box under Internet connection sharing .
    6. Click OK .

After you enable ICS, not bridging the connections. Boulder computer Maven

  • How to find the user oracle for a planning application search

    Hello
I know how to take backup but I dnt seem to remember the user that I created in oracle to the planning application and there are many users that there are many applications on the sytem, how to know which is the user for a particular planning application
    Thanks in advance

I would of thought you would name a name of data source with the same name as the planning application, it makes it a lot easier, the naming scheme of names with the same name also keeps everything the same.
If you can not link the name of the data source for the name planning then you will need to look at the system of planning and HSPSYS_DATASOURCE and HSPSYS_APPLICATION tables, this allows linking by ID.

  • How to find the user name and a name indatapump import tablespace

I have a datapump without the export log file. I would like to import it into a database. Before you begin the import, I would like to know the schema and the tablespace which exported so that I can remap the schema and the tablespace to others. Is there anyway that I can do

You can run your import command, but add this:

    include tablespace, sqlfile = look.sql user =

The look.sql file will have the tablespace create orders and orders for the user to create.

Edit look.sql to see what are the names of tablespace and user.

  • How do I delete or rename a subfolder in documents and settings

    Using Windows XP Professional SP3.

I was given a notebook that once belonged to Abe. How can I remove all traces of Abe and replace them with me.

Specifically in the Documents and Settingd how to delete or rename the subfolder Abe here?

    Thank you

    Nathan

    Hello

First of all, to eliminate the possibility of inheriting a PC with any questions, I'll always do a new installation of Windows, including the boot partition formatting and rewriting the MBR. That might actually get rid of the Abe in any case.

Second, if you do not want to go this route, I just use control panel - users to create a new user, Nathan (as an administrative user) and then log in as this user and remove the user from the EBA, including its records.

  • Pavilion p6120sc: Vista to Windows 7 upgrade: how to find the necessary drivers, etc.

Cheap HP Experts, the Vista operating system in my Pavilion p6120sc must be upgraded to Windows 7. The compatibility test of Microsoft said that the current driver for my NVIDIA nForce 10/100 Mbps Ethernet is not valid in Windows 7. Therefore, I was advised to download the latest driver for this device in advance; but its installation should only be performed after the installation of Windows 7.

Problem 1: what is the right driver for NVIDIA nForce 10/100 Mbps Ethernet (i.e., valid in Windows 7), and where can I download safely to (without viruses etc.)?  -J' did an extensive search on Google but couldn't find an answer I could understand.

Problem 2: The compatibility test also advised me to Uninstall Hardvarudiagnostikverktyg version 5.1.5144.16 (PC-Doctor, Inc.) before upgrading the computer to Windows 7. However, I couldn't find such a program in my PC! Therefore, How can I uninstall it properly? (Is this program might somehow hidden in the HP service package that performs the Test of full operation of my PC once a month? Moreover, would the HP package function test no more if this particular program have been eliminated?)

    You are the very welcome.

You must install this driver before chipset update to W7, if you do an upgrade "in place", because the driver is good for W7 and Vista.

If you make an own (custom) upgrade (not to keep all programs, files or settings), then you must install this driver after you upgrade to W7.

All this driver will do is update the drivers for the motherboard and ethernet (the devices listed in the driver file page).

Driver Ethernet (v73.14 +) tools for network management (v73.16) "Sedona" SATA IDE Driver (v11.1.0.33) WHQL SATA RAID Driver (v11.1.0.33) WHQL RAIDTOOL Application (v11.1.0.30) pilot SMBUS (v4.74) WHQL SMU (v1.71) driver driver WHQL of GPU (v190.38) Physx (v9.09.0428) WHQL Away Mode Driver (v6.0.6000.114) WHQL Installer (v7.57) WHQL.

It shouldn't cause any device to stop working.

  • How to find the users connected to the system

    Hello
    1. is there a way to know how many users is registered in the system of cuttently
    2. is it possible to find that all the activities, they did, other than the execution of scripts calc or the rule files.
    3. can we get any journal file, or write a report to see who all are recorded in the system at any given time.

    Thanks in advance

You will need to return to the Administration-> Reporting-> audit and select the information you want to see.
Once you've done all this information will be stored in the RDBMS table named auditlog (dnt remember the exact name). In this table, you can view most of the activities by user.
