WLC WebAuth - multiple connection Web pages?

Hi all

I'm looking to set up a new SSID with an external start page, however, one of our existing SSID using local authentication. This presents this SSID with the login page default cisco web.

If change the page of web connection to internal or external, will not effect the SSID already existing?

In short, I need a SSID for use an external start page and use the internal page - is it possible?

(Version 7.6 WLC)

Thank you
Nick

No, it should not interfere with the existing page.  I had to configure once something like this:

SSID-1 = Web strategy-Web authentication >-> Override-> downloaded Custom

SSID-2 =-> Passthrough-> Override-> downloaded Custom of the Web in politics

First of all, we'd show PUA request username and password

Second one just ask users to accept the AUP.

    Hello

There are many discussions in the forum about wireless setup, but you can start with this microsoft document to reconfigure the wireless network:

I also suggest to search for "Wireless Setup" on some search engines since there are many many documents there where is described how to solve these problems without wire.

Also, it would be nice if you tell us what kind of machine you have, what operating system is installed (Windows XP or Vista), what router you're using, etc...

  • web pages of Windows vista won't load using multiple browsers.

    Windows Vista, 32-bit.
Card mother with an AMD processor - built Gigabyte in 2009.

Computer has worked for a few years, however, now, he can not complete the loading of most web pages.

Using multiple browsers (IE, Firefox and Chrome), we see the same behavior - web pages do not just end.
Sometimes update gets more of a page - but for videos (youtube and other sites) - it is almost impossible to load a full clip of more than 2 minutes.

    Ping/tracert works very well.
If passing through the VPN + desktop remotely, things work very well (this confirms that he is not the access provider when you use remote desktop, we are no longer local + all device drivers which could be the problem).
Windows Update, seems to work very well.

Download files from a web page, does not work.

The computer is currently connected via Ethernet (not wireless).
We have tried this on two different networks, so it is not associated with ISP.

We tried to connect a USB network adapter - thinking it was hardware related, but that has not changed anything.

We have tried to start in safe mode with networking - and it still does not work (so probably not the program antivirus - mcafee).

I was able to get a live LInux OS running on the pc, and he had no problem loading the pages/videos, ect - what is not strictly material.

I tried using some of the Netsh command to reset tcp/ip stack - but they don't solve the problem.

I do not think that it will fix a Vista startup repair, but I advise him to try to do.

I'm looking for any other suggestions in addition to switch to Linux full time.

    Thank you!

  • Look on OS3 connects to a public wifi network, that has a connection to the Web page.

in the United Kingdom, we have a public wifi network called "_the cloud", which is free to use, but requires that you register for a free account.

Once signed, the phone will automatically connect when you are next in the range.

It seems that since the release of WatchOS3, the Apple Watch will connect now to this public WiFi even with the phone turned off or in flight mode. Suggesting it is connected to a Web page by its self.

It seems to me that it is only this a public wifi network that does this now, but can't figure out how!

Great news in any case, I hope that more public wifi networks completely agrees!

If someone else in the United Kingdom that uses 'cloud _L' public wifi could test this point too, that would be great. I hope that we could get an official comment from Apple?

Lately, web pages were super slow to load... Here's what I've done so far.

    • check internet connections and speeds at home and work - blazing fast in two places.  18-22 Mbps
    • checked using clients and computers of the family in two places - they are fine, so I know its my computer
    • deleted all historic web safari and cookie - no change
    • Chrome will run just as slow, so I know its not just Safari

Uninstall third-party applications that claim to protect, clean, manage, etc of your computer. Remove the adware. Delete the browser extensions. If you are unsure of what is running on your computer download, install and run etrecheck (https://etrecheck.com). Post here the results of etrecheck.

  • I can't scroll through sites that I connect. something happened in mozilla firefox. It allows to work when I am connected to a Web page, but not now. all I can do is

I can't scroll through sites that I connect. something happened in Firefox Mozilla. He used to work when I am connected to a Web page, but not now. all I can do is to manipulate the page through links on the page. No sidebar to scroll or the other. It works fine in Explorer, so I know it's a problem with Firefox, also can scroll etc on pages like MSN, Yahoo, etc., but does not not using Firefox, when I connect to one Web site other than the one which is also a search engine, what happened? can you help me?

You get a pop-up window or dialog style without menu or the toolbar either? In this case:

38 of Firefox has a little problem with this combination of circumstances:

    (1) turned off tabbed browsing
    (2) viewing a page in a private window
    (3) you click on a link encoded with target = "_blank", which launches the link in a new window

The new window opens without menus, toolbar, scroll bars, etc.

Work on this bug is in progress, but I don't know if the fix will be available in the coming weeks. These are the known workarounds so you can continue using windows browsing private - one of them will work around the bug:

    (1) use tabbed browsing (there is a checkbox in Options > general > "Open new windows in a new tab instead");

    (2) shift + click the links to open in a new window with standard features. or

    (3) change a bunch of hidden settings as explained below - it will not you make changes to the way you use Firefox, but sometimes you need to enlarge some small pop-up windows that have been sized for a window with no toolbar displayed.

    # 3, here are the steps:

    (A) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (B) in the search above the list box, type or paste feat and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (C) for each preference that begins with dom.disable_window_open_feature. , if it is not 'true', double-click it to true.

You may find that you prefer this anyway, given that sites can band is more these pop-up windows features.

Who is relevant or do you have a different question?

  • Can't get multiple tabs with multiple web pages

Hi, my plain vanilla firefox browser to Win 8 ceased to give me multiple tabs when I access more than 1 web url. Before you say I have access to 5 sites, and then for each site I get 5 tabs so I can easily switch between web pages. Now they all appear less 1 tablet only. Checking the box in Tools/Options/Tabs/open new window in a new tab instead, not working... very frustrating... any ideas? Thank you very much

I'm not sure that understand the change, then allow me to mention a number of things, and you can respond with comments and clarification.

How you direct links to new tabs: do you use any of these methods?

    • Right click > open link in a new tab
    • CTRL + left click
    • Click middle (using a mouse scroll wheel)

  • I can't use FF to connect to simple Web pages. A lot of pages javascript seems to be disabled. have deleted the C:/p/moz FF x 86 files and reinstalled. No change.

I am running Firefox 24.0 with Windows 7. I can't use Firefox to connect to simple Web pages. When I try to use all the features of sites Web which include cookies of the browser does.
Many functions JavaScript seems to be disabled, that many parts of Web pages do not work. I went to: Tools > Options and checked all the settings for something suspicious, it looked good.

This happened a few months at least. I tried to remove Firefox yesterday, by deleting this file: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox and then ran the Mozilla Firefox
Installer and it did reinstall correctly, but the problem persists.

I only use Firefox for browsing the web. I also use other browsers with my install W7: I use Opera, IE and chrome, they all work great. The only extensions that I use are the Manager session 0.8.0.8 and selector Group tab 0.1. My Silverlight, Shockwave, Acrobat, and Flash Player are all up to date. I use the default theme. I use all services.

I don't know what else to do. Help, please.

Alright. I checked the stuff you guys recommended on the preferences and profiles. I didn't know a lot of this stuff, I do now, that's really useful, thanks!

I checked the help > information on troubleshooting and I went there to reset Firefox. Which caused the browser working properly again, so I guess I was wrong earlier when I said that it "broke the program."

I looked at the data I'm in sync. I started the browser synchronization again. This time I unchecked individual boxes, starting with preferences, then I synchronized and looked to see if the problem is back. It turns out that what he was doing was data "bookmarks".

I guess that the only thing left to do is clear my sync data.

  • The 'connection '. "lights forever even if the web page is already loaded (with NoScript addon)

The green circle "connecting...". "lights forever, even if web pages correctly loaded and no problem surfing * all * websites. I suspect some of the NoScript addon blocks content. On these websites, if I let NoScript load all ("temporary allow all the" it will stop this problem and green circles either.) "But the ' allow all ' must apply to all tabs. Application to a single tab won't do. Even if only one tab is partially blocked by NoScript, the green circle will be on ALL tabs.
Request Firefox fix this in future version.
    My system information:
Win7 Home Premium 64-bit, 8G memory, 12 of Firefox. Addon: NoScript 2.4.3 (it auto updates)

Try the NoScript forum if there is a problem with the NoScript content blocking.

  • FireFox Beta 13 connect to my Web Page of Google Calendar

I just upgraded to FireFox FireFox beta 13 12, and it seems to have solved the problems that I had with slow web pages loading in FF12. However, I believe that I can not connect to my beta Google with FF13 calendar, although I can with other browsers - that is, Opera, Chrome.

    Any suggestions?

I edited this post to remove some questionable information and keep only what I know works for me.

The setting network.http.keep - alive false seems to provide the greatest improvement, but I think that setting network.http... Max-connections to 64 maybe helped a little in my case, since I have a slow connection 'broadband '.

I also reinstalled FF12 with these changes, and the problem seems to be resolved.

For now, this seems to have solved my problems. If things start going downhill, I will return.

Thank you all for all the help and suggestions. ENT, but I think others may have contributed too.

  • I switched speed by half. When I restarted Firefox it tries to connect to every web page of my previous session to refresh the pages. This choking my connection. How can I stop this action of auto-refresh? Thank you.

I want my new session to reload my web pages of the previous session of THE CACHE and do not try to reload on every page of the internet. I can start Firefox with the modem disconnected to avoid this problem, but this can take 3 to 5 minutes for Firefox to open this way. (I see the modem flashes as Firefox attempts to connect at this time). If my 56.6 modem is connected, it should be > 60 minutes. (28.8 is the highest speed available in rural areas).

The connection is generated by Javascript that I see. Java is enabled and it is not blocked by AdBlock Plus because I have turned off to see if he made the difference, but the connection to this Web site is not displayed

No problem here with Firefox 9.0.1 on Linux on this page.
