• [JS, CS4] TextFrame.extractLabel () does not work with the instances of this class

  I have the script, which works very well in CS3. In CS4 (app.version = 6.0.1.532) However, I get an error using extractLabel, after reading a few other a textframe properties:

  frameObject.extractLabel ('name')
  Error: TextFrame.extractLabel () does not work with the instances of this class

  Until the reading of one of the 'normal' properties, such as (frameObject.) content I can call frameObject.extractLabel ('name') without errors, but after "watching" (assign it to a variable in the code, or by getting the value in the javascript console), the content property (or as it seems any normal property) the extractLabel method generates the above error.

  It seems to work to move all frameObject.extractLabel at the beginning of the function calls, but I don't think that I would need to do this.

  It could very well be the case that the label read by extractLabel has no content and never received. Will there be a change in behaviour of CS3 in this sentence? If so, and if this is the reason for the error, is there then a way to determine if the label has been assigned?

  This error is familiar to someone else?

  It works if you use:

  var pgItm = app.activeDocument.textFrames.itemByID(parseInt(myId));
  

  Otherwise, this might work:

  var pgItm = app.activeDocument.pageItems.itemByID(parseInt(myId)).getElements()[0];
  

  Although, generally, itemByID gives you the question no matter what it is as long as there are, so I'm bit puzzled that neither of them will be necessary.

• Anyone who works with the CAF (Caltech intermediate Format) files in LabVIEW?

  Hey everybody,

  Anyone who works with the CAF (Caltech intermediate Format) files? These are files that are generated by IC layout programs, such as TannerEDA L-Edit, that define the layers and arrangement of the masks used in VLSI (Photolithography) of processing semiconductor device.

  I would like to analyse these CIF files to generate a map of wafer of devices for use in the-plate test. Currently, a plan of shooting is made and then I manually switch and define coordinates of line and column for the edge of a plate and various places of drop-in. I would like to automate this process, and I don't know if it is possible by playback of these files from the CAF. However, I don't really know how to read them, and I can get as much information from the Wikipedia page and the original article.

  So I ask: anyone has an easier set of screws that make reading CIF file? Or someone working with them can help me with my problem? I can describe it in much better detail once someone comes...

  Here is one of my notebooks CIF of Mathematica (remove the .txt extension obviously).  I used it to create a new CIF file with four instances of the object in a file.

  You can load a file with the following text:

  symName = loadCIF;

  You can see the layers:

  CIFlayers [symName]

  You can view layers:

  Show [{viewCIFlayer [symName, #, color of layer]}]

  (if you wish, add multiple layers to the list)

  If you have a file of type CIF I can also test to see that it recognizes the objects you use, I am generally to polygons and boxes.

• SimplePass only works with IE and not other browsers

  SimplePass v5.20.205a should work with other browsers like Chrome or Firefox?

  On my dv7-4295us w / Win7 - 64 bit, SimplePass only works with IE8/9. Use IE, suddenly me in connects to the listed sites. With Chrome or Firefox, suddenly won't open the password manager. After scrolling to and by selecting the entry with the correct connection info, an instance of IE opens and connects me.

  If Firefox is set as the default browser, one touch opens the password manager. You select the Web site, a warning message (Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the Protocol (dpql) is not associated with any program.)

  If Chrome is the browser default, one touch opens the password manager. The selection of the correct entry, results in a new instance of Chrome to open to my home page.

  BTW - the link for help does not (never) bar of tasks or SimplePass inside.

  Welcome to the Forum!

  Firefox will work with your version of SimplePass, called Digital Persona.

  The limitation is that you must use a PREVIOUS Firefox version: ~ 3.6 28

  Download of Firefox 3.6.x

  If you're ready to do this (use the old version), then you can use all the sites to your connections and also use the HP connection to access your account on your computer when it starts.  This old version of Firefox also works very well with IE8/9.

  You can update Firefox to the bosom of the version 3.6.x, when they ask... just don't get excited and upgrade to the latest Firefox or Simplepass balk.  Tip: You can keep a copy of your download 3.6.x autour just in case you lose the installation or something else happens and you need to reinstall Firefox later.

  IE8 is quite Rocky.  If you have no choice, be it, immediately update IE9.

  I don't know about Chrome.  Couldn't get anything to work with it.

  SimplePass flavoers Digital Persona and HP SimplePass 2011 / 2012 are MATERIAL dependent.  This means that your computer hardware dictates what kind of software SimplePass, you should run on your computer.  If you run Digital Persona SimplePass style, you must continue to run such - at least for now.  The software code is different, and are the two types are not interchangeable.

  I work with different screens in my application.

  I have a screen with 4 tabs. Each tab to the click should show another screen on the device. But I want to open the instance of each form only once and then run these screens on the pile of on-screen display desired to carry forward and pushing others in the background.

  But the problem is that when I try to use pushScreen() for a screen that has already been posted once before, I get an error that says I'm trying to push a screen that is already displayed. But infact the screen isn't the active screen? How can I now do this instance of the form on the front?

  You can also use a system with a single screen containing your 4 tabs and a Manager.

  Instead of pushScreen you just replace the Manager with another, which contains everything you need to display.

  You do not use the table of bullets that you should be.  You fill it with instances of the ball, but you don't try to target them in the service.  If anything you would be the target of this latest bullet that has been added, although I have to question because I do not see a var reported for a ball, just a line that looks like it should throw an error... ball: bomb30a;

  I have an action from orchestrator of a powershell script/function that I use regularly. The function is supposed to return a System.Object with email content (n, fromAdd, body, etc) that I would use in a script task.

  The problem I'm having is that I can't access these results in my work of scriptable. I know that the performance of the action a PowerShellRemotePSObject (and I have reviewed the literature on 'Working with PowerShell results'), but none of my attempts to explore the values give the results, I'm looking for. I'd appreciate any help to know what I'm missing.

  Thank you once again Ivo. Sorry for the delayed reactions. I took a peek at the solution you provided but had a few mistakes - there was no GetFilter() function defined for the call to psObject.getRootObject () .getProperty ('from'). After fiddling around with the results, I found my solution.

  I basically closed the rootobject of the return value of invocation of script that turns out to be a collection data structure (last result in the enumeration in italics/bold).

  It turns out that the value of back in my Powershell script is the last element in the collection. from there, I could get my values:

  I have the main.mxml app that I work with... so I have a request of additional sample.mxml I want to integrate the main.mxml. How this is done?

  Essentially in the shot... I want to be able to access the application of the sample.mxml of the main.mxml application.

  The reason is because I would like to re - use the sample.mxml application without having to re - develop forms that are out there and code and others.

  If you really need the secondary application to have a top-level tag, you will need to compile in a SWF and SWFLoader allows to load in the main application.

  If it can be a component, not an application (tag top-level , , , etc.) and then simply declare the namespace where the file and create an instance of the component in the main application.

  If in the same folder as the main application MXML file:

  xmlns:comp = "" * "where the model can be anything (myComponents, components, etc.)"

  If a "components" sub-folder of the main application MXML file:

  xmlns:comp = "components.*" where the model may be something (myComponents, components, etc.)

  Declare an instance of the component.

  I am just learning to work with custom classes and I am writing my first real one. I want multiple instances of MovieClip on the stage at all change the color of the type when knocked down and I also want to 'finger' icon appears instead of a pointer. Everything works except the finger icon, for which I use buttonMode. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here or point me in the right direction? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.   You may be lucky with select all > copy > paste into a new document in a robust word-processing or text-editing application

  A PDF is designed to be READ (for the most part)-only "areas" can be "filled" and printed/saved

  After the first, you can then save it as a PDF from the application you are using - usually the function print rather than the Save as function
