• Illustrator freezes when resizing work plan

  Hello

  Since a few weeks I had a problem with resizing work plans in illustrator: when I do it, the preview is fine (it is resized I change the size in the pop-up screen) but when I click on OK in the resizing of the artboard, my illustrator screen everything freezes. At this point, I can still use my laptop, but not Illustrator. It freezes for a few minutes and then all of a sudden it works again, and my work plan is resized. I tried starting illustrator without preferences (Shift + Ctrl + alt for windows), but no luck there.

  I am running the latest version of Illustrator CC 2015 on a laptop Windows 8.

  I tried to launch Illustrator as an administrator, and that works perfectly. Then I tested it again as a normal user, and all of a sudden that has worked as well? This problem was me upset for weeks, but it is now resolved.

• Exported size does not match the size of my work plan?

  Using CS5.5,.

  I created title screens that must be carried into a screen recording program. I create a new document RGB, 72 dpi and 1680px X 1050px. I create my text and graphics and every time that I export as one. TIFF, it looks to export to a different size? I have them open in Photoshop and checked the size of the image and it is not the size, that I put the document up. Looks like that it exports only the part of the artboard that displays, content, because a lot of my work plan is empty. I just tried export as one. PNG with the same results.

• slide show is wrong size after importation as active. need help

  Hi all, I have a strange thing happening with a project. I have PPO 5.0.  My project settings are HDV and my computer is:

  Platform: iMac 2.66 GHz intel core i5, 8 GB of memory. OS: 10.6.6

  I have about 2 hours of footage that is very good. I wanted to add a slideshow of Quicktime (.mov) as the last chapter. I imported the slide show as an asset and then dragged to the timeline.  in the Viewer is now size of mailbox when it should be the big screen!

  Image preview with Quicktime shows that she displayed as large screen very well.

  The .mov file properties are:

  Dimensions: 720 x 486

  On my timeline, Viewer settings 'agree' normally.  When it comes to the .mov file section, he is always "fit", but the screen is now very low.

  is there a way I can force OPP to display 16:9?  I feel you would have told me that now if it were available.

  You can Rt-click the Clip (your MOV file) in the project Panel, then choose interpret footage, forcing the PrPro to see, that you think it should be. This is useful, if PrPro misses some indicator in a file. In this case, I don't think that no flag is not respected, but that the parameters and attributes do not match what you think they should.

• LR detects the wrong lens when importing

  Before it worked perfectly, but with the last update (version of Lightroom: CC 2015.3) LR detects the lens bad for my SIGMA 50mm F1.4 DG HSM objective Art saying I shot with a Zeiss Milvus 1.4/50 ZE. I'm sure it's a great lens, but since I don't own and often search on the lens I've shot with the base, this little quirk is annoying and embarrassing. (Images made with my SIGMA 50 mm F1.4 before now just update to show the "50mm (50mm)".) Bug? Anything I can fix it without going through thousands of images one by one?

I know that it was negligence in this regard griped in previous versions, once work plans have been introduced, but surely, it's been fixed now. It is only fair that I can't understand how do.   Open the Panel work plans (in the window menu) and drag work here plans to change the order. When the work plan tool is the current tool, selection of a plan of work in the work plans Panel will highlight the workplan in the workspace.  The first column in the work plans Panel indicates a number representing the page / print order. The second column is the name given by the Illustrator which you can change in the Control Panel, while the artboard tool is selected.

  Anyone had this problem before? Im working in CS4. When I try to "change artboard" to change the size of the presentation of the document, the size seems to be incorrect? In fact his appearance as a 1/2 size real. By example, if I created a new ink paper the size of the bed as: 4.25 "x 5.5" instead of 8.5 "x 11".  In the preferences, the units all seem to be configured correctly. • Layer mask groups converted from work plans to the size of the artboard in older versions of Photoshop

  I use for a mobile design project work plans, and I just got a screenshot with some texts asking why among work plans were really great. Way bigger than a phone. (I'm under NDA and cannot post the screenshot, but imagine there are a lot of iPhone size work plans and two of them seem to be at a right angle)

  I opened the file and on my end, everything is the right size. Remembering the weeks ago to tell the customer that they need to update their version of Photoshop for all this work correctly, I have take a look at the screenshot and see that they are on CC2014 - none of the work plans.

  What I'm asking here, is that, since we have data, plans of work are objects of a defined size and 'alive', why not just use these data to hide layer groups at the opening of the PSD / PSB (PSB in my case) in older versions of Photoshop?

  It could save you a TON of hassle and confusion.

  High level to your query response is: no, there is no conduct business case for a general solution to what you are suggesting. So I don't see what is happening.

  I say that as someone who likes to give back and forth and backward compatibility.

  There are two parts of the problem that you raise. They are related and somewhat intertwined.

  1. Having the version previous (2014) do something reasonable with the data from the version the most recent (2015). Either the old version should be taught on the most recent data so it can make a decision about what to do, or the newer version must put additional data in the file format for consumption by the older version.
  2. Back and forth between versions. As you say, a much more difficult problem. In fact, we do a good job of that today. But we must be sure that whatever we do for (1) not to damage and back the wrong way.

  Let's be very clear: 2014 will not be touched, except for critical bugs, absolutely. And even before 2015 is released, it would have not been corrected to make it behave better with work plans. There is no way that I could see what is happening. So all we have done for better backward compatibility had to be entirely done within 2015.

  For the round trip, the general problem is something like this: we want to 2014 to read an object that has properties of 2015, he does not understand. While we might learn ch to keep these properties as opaque property, must also have rules for when these properties are not valid and thrown on the floor. Probably, if the object is changed. But not always. And sometimes when another object parent is changed. And so on. Right now, we destroy them unknown content from their reading in the old version.   Take a step back and think about your problem, it doesn't seem to be a value to a script that converts group work plans + layer masks for your workflow to have your documents that is consumed by the customers of 2014. • Import Illustrator without work plan?

  I use AE and Illustrator CS6. In the past when you have imported a file Illustrator in AE it came into AE with the game of the box enclosing exactly on the edges of the real work, which means that the work plan was ignored. In CS6 there don't seem to be a way to achieve. Each file that import comes with the box set including the size of the artboard.

  It would be nice if I was starting a new project, but the problem is that I'm working on a project that was created in CS5. All previous Illustrator files that were imported came AE without the artboard. I need to change some of these assets, but when I got the file from Illustrator and return to EI EI, the edited file comes with the return the bounding box restore the size of the artboard instead of art - screwing totally recording in the model.

  I'm sure that it is a problem that we followed. We have not addressed it yet, but it's on our list of things to fix.

  Plan of work documents have a canvas in auto-expand; This is part of the user experience, which gives a feeling of infinite to the document; You can place things anywhere in the view, and they should remain visible no matter where you drag.   Try this workaround:

  1. download your ready to export document.

  2. in the work plan tool, select the gear icon (top tool bar, far right) and uncheck auto-size canvas

  3. Select the Rectangle tool and cover the artboard from edge to edge. (Snap allows here)

  4. Select the crop option. This can reduce the canvas to just the boundaries of the artboard.

  5 export under..., choose your format, for example PNG. and export.

  6. don't check any extra white space.

  Note that "Web auto-size" is a property of document-sticky and is saved with the document.

• Why the my canvas size is bigger than my work plan?

  I'm working on a larger project, where I have mulitple PSDs linked in a single document. The individual DSP that have all plans of work that are the same size, but in inspection of the size of the canvas on these documents vary considerably in size.

  This causes me some discomfort because:

  -When you place the PSD files in the main document, the bounding box of the PSD is much larger than the graphics I want to place.

  -Second, if I want to resize the size of the canvas on the current related DSP, I am trying, it shrinks the chart down much more that what I would actually. This causes me to have to change the size of each graphical element, which sometimes can be quite tedious.

  In my view, that the size of the canvas should be able to resize the artboard size I'm working on, if only when I have a single work plan I'm working on (which is currently the case).

  Is there a way to adjust PS for the canvas size will correspond to the size of the artboard? Whereas if I adjust the length of the arboard, the size of the canvas reflects the change in size?

  Unfortunately, it is still an open question in our backlog of work.

  The following workaround solution is clumsy, but should work:

  1. choose the tool work plan.

  2 Unger, the gear icon, deselect auto size canvas. This setting affects only the current document.

  3. adjust the size of your canvas as needed using the Image-> canvas size command. It will remain at that size until you change it again manually.

  Work plan documents do not show the extent of the Web, but there are ways to see: layers of filling (with disabled auto-nid) under all work plans, for example.
