  We have a dump expdp of a related development scheme. We had dropped the source DB. Now, we want to create a new scheme in a new DB using this dump. We do not know the storage space used by the schema of the source as this DB does not exist today.

  I see 2 options for you.

  1. run your grep sqlfile import and then that file for the keyword TABLESPACE. This will give you all the tablespaces to be used when ordering import.

  2. start your import but with these:

  keep_master = master_only y = nom_du_travail y = my_master_only

  This will load just the main table, and then you can query the master to find storage space. If your dumpfile is important, it can be a lot
  faster than sqlfile once the import is complete, do a query like this:

  SQL > connect schema_running_job/password
  SQL > select unique object_tablespace from my_master_only where process_order > 0 and duplicate = 0;
  SQL > select unique object_name from my_master_only where process_order > 0 and duplicate = 0 and object_type = 'TABLESPACE ';

  Ah, which explains a lot. IE 9 is currently not supported. Please see the Information of Certification Client Forms 10.1.2. There are known issues with IE 9. I recommend go back you to IE 8 and wait for IE9 to be certified.

  I have a reverse engineering source and tables targets say 'src_table' and 'trg_table' respectively. The data are available in src_table. I have implemented an interface named "Load_Interface", which loads the data from the source of 'src_table' to
  'trg_table '. My Interface works very well. But I have one query, assume that my source (in the database not in ODI) update table.
  
  Should I do reverse engineering on the source model again to update the 'src_table' in the model of ODI?
  
  Because I want to run this interface on the daily basis. Is it possible to src_table automatically update once updated the table in MS SQL?

  Hi Shrinivas,

  Is not mandatory, you can run the interface and get settled.

  Some of the approach that you can follow,

  1. use IKM incremental update to capture him and the calendar frequently.

  2. use the CDC to capture these modified from the source data.
