  1. I think you should escape to the ">" character in "menu > window > Extensions > abcd." to "menu > window > Extensions > abcd."

  2. If you do not want to specify maxversion for product, it is best to remove it, to not specify the empty string.

  3. do not add the name of the file at the end of destination, specify only the file that you want to copy the file to.  Please refer to the document MXI tech notes.

  Giving not complete because it is too long.

  1. I registered successfully of the schemas in the database

  2. then I generate the saved schema table

  2. in my java code I have validated the document XML schema compared and it's valid successfully.

  3 but when I recorded this XML file in the generated table there me gives error

  I got this my solution for the error. My XML document is not well structured based on my registered XML schema.

  Average in My XML Document is an invalid value and which do not match my schema model so it gives this error

  ORA-19202: an error has occurred in the processing of XML

  LSX-00333: literal '94032000' is not valid with regard to the model

  For the Solution, we have two ways

  1. I changed this literal value "94032000" in my xml file, then save it.

• XML validation against the XSD schema

  I have a strange problem.
  
  I'm trying to validate an XMLTYPE variable against a XSD schema using the XMLisValid function.
  
  The XML code that I am trying to validate returned false (0) when you use this method.
  
  However, when I save the XSD against a column in a table, and then insert this XMLTYPE in this column, I don't get any errors. If I change the XSD to ensure failure when using this method, I get an error, if it is registered and work.
  
  I then created a very basic XSD and both methods work when validating XML against that. Then of course the XSD harder I want to validate against a difference, but I expect or them both don't both pass, not a failure and a single pass.
  
  Does anyone know why it would return different results?

  You have a piece of 'delete' that is required as part of the sequence of elements with the element "centers." Yet your XML will fail validation compared with what it has only one item "add".

  Each partner link contains the validateXML property, you can use this property to control where you want to validate XML load and where not.

  To add this property, double click the partner link, go to the property tab and click on the button of the property. Select validateXML from the drop-down list, and then provide his value(strict/none).

  It seems that if your question is because exists in the generated XML. Try using XMLForest instead of XMLElement. XMLForest will not include the node if no data is present.

  I read that nillable = "false" is the default behavior.

  If it is default, then why can leave a tag of type string in the void, while the same time of int type tag will be in error.

  An empty string is always a valid string.
  An empty integer is not valid.

  If an empty tag is considered a value zero or an empty string...?

  Nillable = "false" and "xsi: Nil" is different or same.

  -nillable is a declaration in the schema.
  -xsi: Nil is used at the instance level.

  Nillable = "false" means you do not allow the use of xsi: Nil = 'true' attribute in the document instance.
  Therefore, unless additional restrictions are set, the behavior is one of the declared data type: empty string is valid, all empty is not valid etc.

• Validation of an XML document to a schema using ColdFusion

  It's something I've never tried.  We have created an XML schema to define XML documents, that we expect to receive from various entities.   When we receive the document, we would like to validate prior to processing.  I think that ColdFusion is so far from reading the documentation, but we did not get anything that works yet.

  Looking for the error gave me useful advice.  Can anyone here?

  I was able to get the document of the sample to be analyzed by adding namespaces to the sample file.  I'm not an XML expert, so I can't provide a clear explanation for this.  "I used Altova XML Spy to create an example of XML document based on your schema, and he added the xmlns: xsi ="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"xsi: noNamespaceSchemaLocation sections in the XML file."  Note that the value of noNamespaceSchemaLocation is normally the way to the XSD file.  I left the empty value and sample analysis always in ColdFusion 8.

  I suspect that the underlying issue is related to how Java CF based XML parser expects to be dealt with in the documents XML, namespaces, but it's just a theory.

• The opening of the RPD MDS XML error

  The landscape

  I have a relatively simple SPR with a single Oracle data source considered. OBIEE version 11.1.1.9

  I followed best practices and star schema article to define the logical subject area: 8 dimensions and a fact table.

  dashboards and reports on OBIEE work well and no problems of RPD to date.

  Usage tracking is enabled and modeled.

  The problem

  I'm in the early stages of planning for automated deployment, but so far I can't properly re - open the RPD in the form of XML documents.

  Backup repository happily in XML format, but on open after several attempts, accepts the password but gives the following error:

  "nQSError 90028] XML Validation error to line number 5: data type error: Type: InvalidDatatypeValueException, ID of Message: 'mError' is not unique."

  
  

  Troubleshooting so far

  • Like a madman, google-> nothing (if this isn't common)
  • RPD light up to the basic set, same problem
  • Tried on another server with an export charges of an RPD offline (the most recent version of the same file). Same question. (so, not my machine)
    Tried with SampleApp DPR installation - error does not (not the application)
  • I opened all the MDS XML files exported in Notepad ++ and sought non-unique value. It is 250 hits around 9 files - all were the logical table XMLs. In each case the offending value is located in the < AttrDefn > element of a column of logic and resembles this example:

  You want to integrate with version control in the House and the script / automate patches rpds based environments onward.

  You can do this with comparerpd/patchrpd command line tools - on the binary RPD. You need not MDS XML. You can put the RPD in control source (and if you want to use XML MDS, keep a copy of it in the source code control too - but use it as your exclusive of the RPD representation)

  But - I think that what you say about is not so much simultaneous development, such as the automated environment implementation service/deployment. And as I said, this can be done with standard command line tools, no MDS needed XML (and I think that Stewart would agree with me on this...)
