XPS13 buzz

My XPS13 seems to have a quiet buzz when scrolling on the touchpad or touch screen. If there is any audio playing through the speakers, then this parasite and crackling through the speakers. If I stop scrolling stops crackling. So it would appear there is some electrical interference on the map somewhere, perhaps in connection with the toucpad/touch screen.

I've read several instance of people with ringing and reel whining and similar problems on their XPS13. Someone can confirm what the fix was, is a replaced part, card mother/touchpad etc?

I connected it with Dell support and they will try to change the speakers first, although I don't think that's the problem.

Engineer came today and came up with a new card wifi, new speakers and new motherboard.

Tried after every part was replaced and the problem still exists. Dell support requested a week she degrades at level 3 for their engineers to look into the problem. Apparently, there was some other XPS13 with the same problem.

  • Buzz of noise in the tempo switch

My song has 4 different tempos. Every time that happens, occurs a humming noise. If I get all tracks FX behind it disappears. How can I keep the delay, but not the buzz?

    Thank you y´all.

Use automation for on/off switch of the delays to and after each change of tempo.

If that kills too late in the face of that time, and then introduce a Gain ahead of every delay, automate the Gain to cut admission to the delay when changing the tempo. Who will cut the whole track, however.

  • HP laptop - 15-ac131nv: distortion sound/buzz

    Hello

I have problems with my speakers. Whenever I have play anything the sound is distorted and there's a little buzz, as if the frequencies/sounds are too much for the speakers to manage. It happens even on system sounds. It started to happen about a week to 10 days, and I think it was once a substantial package of updates installed Windows. I also feel (although I can't be sure) that this does not happen directly when I turn on the computer and play something, but if I play something and then get a sound system or a sound from another source, that's when the distortion occurs. If I plug in my headphones the sound is great and there is no problem.

All my drivers are up to date, I manually installed the last two days ago, but that does not solve the problem. I also made sure the sound levels (audio output) are not too high.  Any ideas would be much appreciated, because it becomes very annoying and I'm beginning to wonder if the speakers are somewhat damaged. There just 2 months I bought this computer, so it's quite upsetting.

    Thank you very much

Yes I think that did the trick.

    Thanks a lot again!

  • 21 "iMac 2010 with el capitan making a buzzing sound and won't start not

I have a 2010 21 "iMac running EL capitan who today suddenly makes a gurgling noise and he wouldn't do anything so I turned it off and tried to put it back on and it continues to make a buzzing sound, as soon as I press the bottom of the power to the rear it hums 3 times then stops and emits a 3 stops... on a black screen. All tips thank you

Three beeps usually indicate a problem with the RAM.

Sometimes, modules dispose and sometimes the modules go bad. Personally, I would check and/or replace the RAM modules.

If you cannot or do not know how to install or check the RAM for yourself...? Next, you need to contact your Apple Store or FSAA and book a service appointment. See > https://locate.apple.com/country

  • Satellite A500-1EJ - charger makes buzzing noise

    Hello world

I have a Satellite A500-1EJ. A few months ago the original laptop computer charger died on me, so I bought a Spanish new from Amazon.
Also, I bought a new battery and they worked perfectly until last week. Of fact changer this buzzing when it is connected (same as previous). As the charger and the battery are original I have tried to find a way to get a replacement but can't find anything on cell phone chargers.

Could you please help me with this? Amazon said I need to contact the manufacturer of the product.

  • Satellite Pro L20 - persistent buzz

    Hello

My less than three days old L20 has developed an annoying hum coming from the upper right.

When turned on it is fine, then after half an hour or so a strong infatuation comes from this area if the laptop is moved upwards or downwards and less than an hour the buzz is a constant no matter what position it is. The only way to stop it is to turn the power off and leave - this would indicate a fan/cooling problem?
Is there something that can be done?

    Thank you.

    Hello J,

Since your laptop is a few days old only I strongly recommend that you return the original supplier for replacement. Laptop you should not do any humming noise apart from cooling fans that should light up periodically to cool the CPU.

    Kind regards

    Hi Ruslan,

You can access options from Control Panel-> Performance Toshiba power management and management. Normally, this will show both the Microsoft Options, but also the Toshiba ones.

  • HP ProBook 4530 s has strange periodic buzzing from the speakers

I recently bought a HP ProBook s 4530 and I am now a regular buzz (about every 30 seconds or more) from the speakers during playback of any media. The system has Windows 7 Professional 32-bit with a card IDT High Definition Audio CODEC installed. No error message is displayed and all drivers are newer and work would have been properly. I had no problem for the first two weeks, then allof it suddenly appears. I j. River Media center installed, and the problem appeared all first when I played the music. I finally found a solution by changing the default value in the media player of mp3 to WASAPI. But it does nothing to affect the noise from other sources. The sound also goes to speakers only when certain applications (local and internet) are released for a short period. Any help will be most appreciated.

    Hello

In my opinion, you should disable hp power assistant configuration (msconfig) system service.

Anyone know if this machine is also available in Europe?

  • Camileo x 400-buzz using desktop microphone and AC at the same time

We bought this camera because it gives us the possibility of using a desktop microphone when we record interviews.

It works very well if the camera uses its batteries, but when you plug in the AC, the sound recording is affected.

A buzz is saved all the time.
Have you had this problem and found a solution?

    Hello

Have you tried another AC adapter?
It might be possible that your adapter is defective.

  • Why is my iPod Touch 5 making a buzzing sound?

My iPod is not playing music or make sounds. When I try to play music nothing happens and when I try to play a sound effect, like a ringtone, it is it buzz. I tried to remove my case and nothing happened. I also tried unplugging my headphones to see if they were the problem and nothing happened then either. Please help me! What should I do?

It's an iPod Touch with 32 GB of storage 5 and I had a little more than two years. Thank you!

First of all, check if the mute is enabled. You can open the control center and press the mute icon, or switch on the side of the iPod. If this does not work, you should try to update, or bring it to the Apple Store, where they can fix.

  • Skype no sound during the first call, a constant buzzing afterwards.

    Hello

I'm running Debian unstable, and I've recently updated my system after several months of not doing (the last time was before the latest version of Debian). Once the upgrade is finished, I noticed that Skype (I have 4.2) had ceased to work properly with the following symptoms:

    • If I make a call immediately after the start of Skype, I get no sound. I can see in the controls of PulseAudio that Skype has opened an output stream, and yet nothing comes out the speakers. The microphone, on the other hand, works fine (the other part of the call confirmed that they could hear me).
    • If I can put an end to this call and try to start another one, without leaving Skype first, a buzzing begins at the time the call is trying to produce a sound. The buzz persists even after that I ended the call and indeed persists until I have quit Skype.

Since I've updated many packages at once, it is virtually impossible to tell what package updates may have caused this. In addition, the problem is specific to Skype; all other sound generating programs work very well. In any case, I would be happy to provide you with additional information that might help.

    Thank you

    Vasilis

I actually "solved" this by running Skype from the command-line in the following way:

    PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC = 30 Skype

It is still is not ideal because it does not work out of the box, but it does the trick. However, in the meantime, it stopped recognizing my webcam, so things aren't great yet. :-(
