  Our current data store is a mounting NFS on Nexenta (zfs), which has a pool, I need to rebuild (migration of raidz2 to mirror striped for performance). Initially, I was relying on the judgment of all virtual machines, create a new pool, copy (cp - r) of the Nexenta console all virtual machines to the new pool, recreating the pool mirror and then copy (cp - r) all the data back.

  I have seen several discussions on this topic and seems like the simplest method would be to use the feature to "Migrate" so that the virtual machines are not fragmented. However in some of my pre-test when I copy a virtual machine between the basins of the Nexenta console it appears (from the data store Explorer) to initially create the vmdk provisioned and then once completed it copy looks too thin.

  I hope that I can simply copy the Nexenta console, using the option "Migrate" in vCenter on each of my 40 MV looks like it would be * quite * tedious compared to the simple issuance of an order of 'cp - r' and leave all the copies of VMs (1.5 to) during the night and then adding them to each host.

  Does anyone have experience with this? Or maybe a way to generate scripts easily (?) the option "migrate" in vCenter?

  You can select multiple VMs in vCenter regularly using CTRL + click or shift + click and both migrate them as long as they have the same storage destination.  You can also schedule it as a task.    Add manually each computer virtual back in hand is not less painful than migrating individually, anyway.

• Best method to move the VCenter server on new server

  I need to move my VCenter server to a new machine.

  The computer name and the IP address will be different from the original.

  1 should I use the existing database or there will be too many references to the old server vCenter Server?

  2. should I start from scratch on a new server and import my 5 ESX servers?  (Story not so important for me)

  If I start, unplug the old and add it again or just to add again and it will automatically remove the old?

  Here's how you can show images from the folder on the server:

  This is just example and suppose you create the new application.
  I assume that your XE database is windows machine.

  Connect to SQL plus as SYS and create the directory

  create directory my_img_dir as 'c:\my_images\';
  

  Grant privilege read on directory (ANONYMOUS) user to DAD

  grant read on directory my_img_dir to anonymous;
  

  Grant privilege read on directory to your application to the analysis of schema. Modify the "my_schema".

  grant read on directory my_img_dir to my_schema;
  

  Create the new application and 2 blank pages. I guess the first page (id 1) is where you show images.
  Second page (id 2) is just for the appeal process.

  Create point of application process "on the cloth: before the header."

  I notice that you mention your OS.

  Above statement replace c:\my_images\ by/var/my_images for example.
  Make sure that "others" have read permission on folder and files it contains the image.
  Group and owner of the folder can be for example root

  I just recently changed a project I was working on. As I am new to the program, I always get a hang of things. Everything was fine until I used the link between after effects and first to fix a clip. When I got home first and wanted to add a new video just froze. I thought it was a bug, restarted the program and tired again, but the same thing happens again. It has been a few hours now and I have tried everything I can think off but I still get the same result.

  I'm trying to put a new clip in the timeline and the whole program freezes as soon as the clip touch the timeline. I can't click anything, I can't move anything, I can't even close the program without the Task Manager. Although I can still play the project using space and saving using CTRL + S, but it's as if the mouse disappears first. This is quite annoying because I can't keep my project because I can not add new clips, no idea how to solve this problem?

  You have a point set at the beginning of the sequence.  This is what is at the origin of the gel.

  There is an excellent article here covering debugging using web Inspector. Ofcourse from phonegap you may feel more comfortable using weinre which should work on all versions of OS of BB.

  You cannot swap rows / instances between objects...

  If you want to have the form A and C just after, you must have form A and C in the same page, when you add instances that they will always be together.

  All you have to do is show or hide form C when necessary...

  Can I use try-catch block for NullPointerException or just an if-else?

  It depends on the specific context, but have no other details, I'd throw an IllegalArgumentException or NullPointerExcecption. I'd also throw IllegalArgumentException if the array has zero element.

  I certainly would NOT return any value unless the requirements specifically said that this is the desired behavior.

  The loop to find the max value in the case of a valid table looks good. The only things I would change are:

  (1) rename the temp into something more meaningful, such as max or result.

  2) put braces around the temp = i body of the if (I > temp) test. They are not strictly necessary, but I (and most of the people I know) feel better to always use. Avoids confusion, makes it clear that you really don't want only this line in the body and prevents the error from adding more lines later and forget to add the braces.

• Move the HD from one office to another desktop computer

  It is a question about moving the files & applications from one desktop to another. I try to get 1 year of use of existing & software equipment.

  I have an office of stand-alone Dell old 12 years with Windows XP that I use every day at home. I have an old Dell Office of 7 years with XP & no apps or files that I have gained from the work that I do not use.

  I guess the older machine is sick because I have to reset the clock each time I boot Windows. It seems to work otherwise. I want to act before the death of the sick machine.

  A method that I am considering moves chips drive & memory fixed older machine to the latest machine. These two components are less than 3 years. I replaced a fixed disk damaged & added some memory.

  The other method I see is to copy the contents of the fixed disk on the sick machine on the newer machine fixed drive, leaving the components in place.

  I know I need to buy new hardware and new software. I would wait 10 Windows.

  I'd like suggestions on the simple, reliable and cost-effective method to buy more time by using existing hardware.

  To move the data from the user, just install the xp installation cd, search for "other tasks" in the

  menu, search for "File Transfer Wizard", set the pc as old pc, select the file to save, save files

  in a new folder that you created, once its through, out of xp cd. Move the new folder to a cd

  Once through, on the new pc, install the xp installation cd, locate the file transfer, set the new pc, select

  to search for files, installation cd with user data, find the folder on cd, install FTW

  It automatically... Best bet is to run FTW on a new user account, and then move the files to the other as

  necessary. It's one way, others, install the HD from old pc to new, HD set as slave,

  with the HD as a slave, the data can be used with the operating system.

  Windows 10 is already available.

  You could grab the object, press the alt key and move it. You can enter a new x-y-value or in the transform Panel, and then press alt + enter.

  After countless failed attempts, I need help desperately... I have a 1 to internal with 37K images that I've been using LR3 for one year.   I installed a second internal drive of 2 TB and to move images catalogue LR and etc.... We have 3 attempts failed and the blogs are littered with people who have problems with this...

  What is the best way?   Last attempt was an export of catalog to the new drive... looked at it worked but when I went to bed around 03:00 but I received this morning and even if he says completed the file did not export during the evening..., I looked and the files were written in the new HD but no files existed there this morning... what gives which is a better process and why is it so difficult that many people express frustration full on sound in their blogs?

  I don't see that LR movement to a new location is still difficult. Just copy the catalog file and open it. If you also want to move your image files, then copy them on in the same structure of folder, then open the catalog and choose move the folders.

  If you do a more complicated methods then it is you who are complicating the issue, not Adobe.

  People constantly seem to overcomplicate things by themselves, creating complex structures to manage files, rather than use LR to manage files; using the catalogue of export when this just is not required when copying the entire catalog... etc. Keep things simple. Everything except your original files is stored in the catalog file. For a catalog of everything that you need to work is this file and the original images.

  I regularly copy my catalog back between the various different computers (even between Mac and windows machines), external drive, etc., without the slightest problem

  I just purchased and installed a 240 GB INTEL SSD 530 Series hard drive in my machine of h8 - 1520t HP ENVY. The SSD is initialized and works very well.

  Both the original hard drive which is a TeraByte WDC WD10EZEX-60ZF5A0 and the SSD newly installed are installed and works very well.

  My goal now is to start from the SSD and move MS office and other applications for the SSD.

  I would appreciate help on what's the best method to move the Windows 8 (now updated to 8.1) from the original for the SSD hard drive and what it takes to set up to boot from SSD ENVY.

  Notes:

  The Intel SSD came with an acronis cloning tool they call software data migration-which is supposed to copy or clone everything, since the HDD through the original SSD - I'm willing to give that a try, but a bit hesitant as I don't know if it's the best solution, and I think still need to do something probably would change the settings in BIOS to boot then the SSD.

  You are welcome.

  You must change the boot order.  However, until the SSD starts successfully, you should unplug all other HARD drives.  I'd be happy to hear how it works.  Many brands of SSD requires changes to the BIOS.
