  I did in the past without problem, but I want to assure you of a few things:

  1. This particular drive has software available in a folder on the disk backup (w / the PC and Mac versions). But... I intend to use this disk as an exact copy of my iMac HD; It must also be bootable.
  2. Should I format the drive with disk utility? Or load the software to the CCC on the disk and just leave their only backup software?
  3. One last question: I also have a MacBook Air, an iPad and an iPhone. I want to save them as well. Should I put them on separate partitions, I created? Or can we just one big happy family? The last is best.

  One last piece of information: two computers, etc, were all backed up via Time Machine. My data the most important, photos, etc., are also saved on deposit box and/or iCloud on a regular basis.

  Delete and partition the drive by making a separate partition for each computer. The iPad and the iPhone is useless their own partition because they back up using iTunes and would appear in the clone of the computer that you use for each save. Each partition must be the size of the current cloned drive that can leave you with additional partitions for other stuff. Then format the drive Mac OS Extended journaled. Do not install any software that came with the drive, none of this is necessary.

  I use a very similar setup with a 3 TB drive. I clone my boot SSD in a single partition, my drive internal 1 Tb in a second, my Macbook to a third party, and I have a fourth partition which is currently empty, because I haven't decided what to do with it yet. I also have a 3 to Apple Time Capsule.

  Lightroom has not (yet) support a 10-bit display pipeline.

  In any case, I would say 10bits ability brings us back on the list of priorities. What it does is to replace the 256 discrete steps of tonal with 1024, thus reducing the risk of Posterization/bands.

  A monitor that can be hardware calibrated by adjusting the internal circuits of the monitor in depth low (as opposed to in the video card calibration software), will not display the strips in actual use. It simply isn't a problem, and all 10 bit is somewhat an exaggeration of the IMO. But it requires a good (and probably expensive) monitor, like an NEC or Eizo. They are usually capable of 10-bit, but it's not essential.

  Some cheaper models can be hardware calibrated, as the U2413 of Dell and some others, but they have their own problems such as uneven lighting and so on. 10-bit won't help you with that.

  Get a good monitor, it is well worth the expense. That's the key.

  I have Firefox 12.0 and starting yesterday I can access my Hotmail account, no problem, but it does not save the clicks in the e-mail domain. I can sort of browsing around, but I can't read emails; I can't send e-mail messages; and I end up having to use Internet Explorer.

  It's happened before, a couple of months. At the time, what worked was using Hotmail with an HTTPS connection. Worked like a charm.

  Now, it does not work. Neither clear cache my story or my cookies. Neither fact restart Firefox in safe mode, i.e. with all disabled add-ons. So I'm at the end of my rope, because nobody seems to have any other advice.

  The only thing I can think of who might be involved was running an MicrosoftFixIt program, which sets out what seems to be a recurring error for many users (sometimes Windows Update would list not updated). I did a couple of days, and yesterday I had this problem with Firefox. I had done once before, and well I'm not sure I * think * it is at the same time I got my first issue of Hotmail.

  the details of the system, you have presented that it seems you have the plugin pdf foxit reader on your system - it is known to cause problems with hotmail since firefox 12. Disable it in firefox > addons > plugins until there an update by foxit, which solves the problem

  I have the problem that we use DLP 9.1 with EPO 4.5 and have the problem that when we use DLP USB glue with series nummer they do not work through zeroclient on the virtual machine.

  We've set the rules in the operative part of DLP controll that she is allowed to use usb sticks which are content encrypted and where the serial number is saved in the DLP.

  
  It works fine on normal physical laptop but if I use the same USB on my zeroclient who got a machine virtual vmware as the stick got allways blocked.
  I also tried to register before the stick no serialnumber and used the VID and PID, but also that have the same result as the stick has blocked.

  
  If I disable all the rules of control of the aircraft as the stick got mapped from zeroclient to the virtual machine without problem.
  Can help you to use or is there any practice well known for using control of the device with virtual machines?

  I was so upset with Adobe, which has a near monopoly on the software flash player that we all need to use our browsers, for these reasons:

  1. where virtually every other software vendor I have installed on my devices has an update procedure which ispretty painless (microsoft product update in the background, as do most of the other companies), attacks first Adobe matter us with a boring banner that appears every month or so no what you do.  Then you must visit the website, download and install.  This lost time is intrusive and unnecessary.  See second point.

  2. why Adobe forces us to their website?  So they maliciously McAfee software bundle with the download of the update.  The default setting when you go to the page of software update was installing McAfee checked request!  If you work quickly (like those who, like me, are eager to torture at the end) you will not see the automatic grouping of McAfee, and you can click on the download button. You of course later will notice if, when you are blessed with McAfee installed on your system, which extends its tentacles in every corner of the BONE, and it is not easy to uninstall!  Incredibly, sometimes you need to install special software to uninstall the slightest sign of McAfee on your system.

  I plan on trying some of the alternatives to Adobe now; Abuse of Adobe has lasted.  I registered on this forum just to post this, since Adobe provides NO WAY to communicate with the company on its Web site without having to create an account (not e-mail address for your comments!), so here I am.  F out of Adobe.

  You might want to consider Google Chrome, which beams Flash Player as an element in the browser, eliminating the need for a separate download.  In addition, Internet Explorer under Windows 8 and higher also includes Flash Player as a built-in component.
