Y570 Windows 7 reinstall errors

I had my Y570 for some time now and recently decided a clean install and update all the drivers and all. I got a copy of ISO of Windows 7 HP and was planning on the use of the series on the back. I created my bootable DVD, and when I entered the facility he told me that since it was (OEM reserved), I could not install on this disk. I searched for a while and I formatted my HARD drive and cleaned by using diskpart. I then try to install it and I got the error "Setup could not create a new partition system. I looked again and I tried to repartition of diskpart and still the same error.

I currently can't start Windows because I formatted the disk. And the only thing I have at my disposal is the Windows 7 DVD I created.

Any help would be immensely appreciated, I past this since 6 hours and still nothing.

Thank you.

  • Windows 7 update error code 8000FFFF

Howdy, I'm having a problem recently with Windows 7, do not update anything another Defender to windows then.  All other updates give 8000FFFF error code.  The latest good updates I had were 16/08/2010, then the first failures were 24/08/2010.  The only changes to my system since 08/16/2010 are the latest version of Firefox and I installed Starcraft II.  I spent hours going through the links of this error, but in almost every moment, the answers given are for windows vista that do not work for windows 7.

I did a restore of the return if the system would let me which unfortunately is 24/08/2010.  I also tried to install updates manually by receiving the same error.

What is the problem and how to fix it?

    Hi Dennis,

Please report the problem to Microsoft Community.

It would be great if you can answer the following questions:

1 have had any changes made on the computer before the show?

    2. What is the brand and model of the computer?

    3. when exactly you get the error message?

The error message you get to start usually occurs if an application of Lexmark or a Lexmark device does not work correctly. You can try to uninstall and reinstall the Lexmark applications installed.

You can view the following link to uninstall a program:

    Uninstall or change a program

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/uninstall-or-change-a-program

If this seems to fix the problem, you can contact Lexmark to obtain the latest drivers Lexmark and installed applications to continue using Lexmark devices.

Let us know if it helps, and if you need additional assistance.

How can I restore my Windows Mail capabilities?

The error "suddenly come to an end" is usually caused by interference from an antivirus program. What antivirus do you use? Some of them are causing problems with Windows Mail over time. At a minimum, email, scanning in the antivirus must be turned off, although maybe it's not enough to eliminate all the bad effects. In the worst case scenario, your antivirus program may be uninstalled/reinstalled or replaced. A free antivirus that is 100% compatible is available here:

E-mail analysis in any antivirus must be disabled, for the reasons explained here:

As an alternative to the replacement of your antivirus, consider upgrading to Windows Live Mail, because it is less prone to suffering from the ill effects of too intrusive antivirus programs:

You have a configured antivirus program to analyze the messages, including outgoing mail?  It is the main causes of problems sending, so it is best to remove it from the environment.  Uninstall your AV program and reinstall it without any lscanning may feature.  You can also open a command prompt window and see if you can connect to the server and the port you are trying to use.

In addition, you can use the built in recovery partition to reinstall Windows 7:

New computers that come pre-installed with Windows often have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

  • Windows 7 reinstall "invalid product key".

I recently started a computer fixing for someone, they got three Dell Optiplex 755 desktop computers, and I got a few pieces of each of them (hard drive, processor, ram cards). I got the computer to boot, but since it's so old and I don't know what is the file system and it is a bit slow, I tried to reinstall Windows. I have the disc to install Windows 7 Professional x 64 and went to control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Recovery\Advanced recovery methods then clicked Reinstall windows. It restarts with the disc and went to the screen configuration, but then stopped and said that you can not install Windows because it has an invalid product key. Don't know why it does, but when I got to do start back when I also got to put in it, it says that Windows needs to be reactivated because of hardware changes, so in PowerShell, I typed in [slmgr-ato]. It worked, and after a reboot the lower right corner of the Office had more "Is not a genuine copy of Windows" on this subject, so I guess it worked. Can someone help me?
