If I understand what you are asking the subject, is not a
Feature of Windows 7, but the Dell Dock, something provided by Dell.

Dell how to put in place.

  • Please can you put the "Open a new tab" button back where he was on the right side of the tabs, or at least give the opportunity to put it there? Thank you.

In the row of tabs along the top of the screen, there was an additional tab with a + in what you clicked to open a new tab at the far right of the tabs. As the tabs still float to the left and new tabs appear on the right, it was (in my opinion), the most logical place for it. However, the only two places I am able to put this "tab" are now on the far left, which is illogical, because the new tab appears on the right, or in the toolbar and other tools. It's enough, but I'd rather see the 'new tab' tab back where she was.

Moreover, the option to put it on the right end of the Ribbon tab did not work up to this latest version of Firefox, but I'm sure you know this!

Open the view to customize and use the default for "Open a new tab" button back where it belongs.

  • How to change the product ID of Windows 7, when you put the disc in the other PC

I PC_1 with an SSD and a valid license of Windows 7 OEM (HP).  I want to put this SSD in a new, more powerful PC_2.  PC_2 holds a valid license of Windows 7 OEM (Packard Bell).

    My thoughts are:

1 use Double driver to make a backup of all the PC_2 drivers.  Use ABR Activation Backup and Restore to save the certificate key and activation license for W7 on PC_2

2 put the SSD in PC_2 and change the license key and activation of the certificate (it has the PC_1 keys/certificates) to the PC_2 keys/certificates

    3. install missing drivers to disk backup Double.

The problem is How to change the key/certificate in step 2?

Of course I could rebuild W7 on the SSD and give him the key to license PC_2 for the reconstruction, but that would mean reinstall all my other programs that I prefer not to do so.  I downloaded and still have, a copy of W7 iso website digitalrivers if this can help.

    Thank you

Put the SSD from PC 1, PC 2 and startup, update drivers, and change it to the product key located on the certificate of authenticity.

As long as they are running the same edition should not be a problem.

Click Start, right click on computer

    Click on properties

Scroll down to the Windows Activation

Click on the link 'change product key '.

Enter the product key located on the COA sticker attached to the bottom of your laptop or in the battery compartment. Click next to activate via the Internet.

  • Cannot put the screen into hibernation

I recently installed Windows 7 using a new PC Gateway. Now, I can't get the display turns off when not in use. as I could in XP. My monitor is a new Samsung LED.

What I want is to have the screen turns off after an hour or two of non-use and be able to quickly put back by moving the mouse or pressing a key. I tried to change all the settings for the screen savers and energy saving options, but the screen remains always lit throughout the day, even with no use for several hours.

What I forget? Welcome to suggestions.

    Have you tried this:

Start-> Control Panel-> Power Options-> choose when to turn off the display-> select your desired time in turn off display-> save changes
Now your monitor should turn off once the computer is idle for the specified amount of time.

I accidentally pushed my thumb up against the screen and there were some comments/pixellisant (don't know how to call it) which disappeared when I took my thumb off the screen.  Further, I'll make sure not to put pressure on the screen when opening - but, is this normal and is there problems in the long term be wary after doing this?

You tap the green bar at the top of the screen, where the status bar, then it takes back you to the call where you can hang up.

    Hello

There may be something wrong with the screen of laptop computers.
I guess that the graphics card is ok because the external screen works properly.

But it s very interesting to know if you are using the graphics driver from Toshiba. If this isn't the case, please check if this problem also appears after installation of the graphics driver from the Toshiba driver page.

  • reduction of severe frame rate when you touch the screen, iOS

    Hello
I have a simple app with scroll to the top of the stage with a bitmap image in each of the clips of 2000. They are moving incredibly fast at 60 fps.
But the moment that I even put a finger on the screen the fps drops to about 40 if I move my finger it drops to 30 fps.

    is this a normal behavior?

There is no listener of events or something like that.

    Thank you :-)

I did a couple of things that have improved the framerate:

    mouseEnabled = false;

    mouseChildren = false;

No movieclips, only bitmaps, perhaps of sprites.

If you use clips for controls, make sure that they are not nested in a different movieclip that covers the entire screen. (avoid nesting where possible)

  • Can you get the screen is on-air on the classic to display on a second screen?

OK long shot and I think that I I already know the answer is no, but here's what I want to do:

I will be installing an iPod interface to my OEM car stereo, with control of load and playback via the car stereo/CD changer port. -No info on track return to the display of the car in this solution.

The ideal solution is to hide the iPod in the armrest, run a video of small groups of power for a 4.3 "TFT LCD that I also use for a backup camera (two screens of entry)

Ideally this second screen would display the same "screen is on the air than the iPod as well as works of art news and artist of the normal Beach/album.

I'm very technically competent and capable of doing custom wiring, but I'm after a bit of feasibility info!

Doubtful, although probably not impossible given enough skill and technical expertise.    But the iPod is not in a usable state easily; the case would open with fortune son hanging out of him.

You can transmit a composite video signal on the dock, use connector of this

    http://www.Apple.com/shop/product/MC748AM/A/Apple-Composite-AV-cable

but it is to show a video or a slide show, do not for the mirroring of what is on the screen of the iPod.

  • Satellite L50-B-1NM - speakers turned off when you move the screen

    Hello

    yesterday, I got Toshiba L50-B-1NM.
Everything seems to be ok except for one thing.
Speakers to stop when the screen is slightly moved. There are positions of the screen, when they work, but just slightly push the screen and they are now closed. Movement of the screen has no impact on its external [helmet], is without a doubt the speakers or its connection.

And he also said: [even if the warranty is still on]

  • How do you get the screen message appears only one for each case?

    Hi friends,

    I'm here with another question...

I built a VI that must contain 6 boxes, when a particular check box is selected by the user, it should display a message to the user that the checkbox is enabled.

My problem is: when I select one of the boxes the on-screen message continuously one after the other, even when you press the OK button.

    Can someone help me please?

An option button allows only a boolean in it to be active at a time.  You see these things all the time.  Think about a survey that only lets you select one option.

so, there is a signal of cameraResourceReleased which you can listen to that will tell you that the camera has been arrested.

After that, you can restart the viewfinder after your application is in the foreground.

We have a corner case that we are still working on what centers around the case when the screen starts to close (causing the camera to stop), but the user he wakes up before the browser tells your application in the background.  In this case, you may not receive a leading event.  You can probably work around this case by launching a timer and check, after a second or two, if the application has been deleted original or not... If it is still in the foreground, then you could try restart the viewfinder

    See you soon,.

  • How do you apply the screens in Photoshop?

Am new to CS5 and I discovered something of quite accidentally.  In Essentials under styles, I've learned from these small boxes with polka dots around them and you could drag on over your picture and a nice screen appears on your photo - just like the effect of cartoon if sketch you and stamp and sketches and half tone, but it was a screen already.  I went down the styles you are looking for how these points formed a screen where it would land on your entire photo.  I don't know how I could get this effect, but none of these boxes, I clicked on that would have this screen with dots of different sizes.  How are you doing with some skill?

If you talk about dashed strokes styles then a model was used to achieve this effect.

Watch the race in the layer styles dialog and you will see that the Type of fill is model.

You can save the profile by clicking on the small button to the right of the thumbnail of the pattern

to get a better look at the model.

  • Calibrate display problems after you run the screen.

I have a bad problem after running a screen calibrate a Spyder 3 Pro.  I've done this before and no problem, but this time, something went AWOL.  Now I have serious problems with the screen areas header and the context in which the Dock are black?

The icon screen titles are also black text and it is impossible to see what emails are present because it is also black.

My screen is a NEC PA272 and I tried to reset this sequel to the problem of calibration but no joy.

In system Pref NEC display is no longer recognized it be some generic shown screen and the profile seems to be lost.

In Safe Mode the dock is not black.

I ran an OSX Yosemite recovery, but this does not seem to have changed anything.

Can not think of anything else to try contacting Apple Support cat but it was difficult in these conditions and I fell the cat.

It's weird since it's only a part of the screen with a problem, and the rest is OK.  I don't have a screen to swap to isolate the problem but everything worked fine before.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Excellent assistance from the Apple phone is supported, problem solved.
