Your opinion about Satellite L775-111

Someone at - it what model or able to give comments about it. It seems a reasonable price for its construction. 729 what other i5 17 inches could I get with the dedicated graphics card

Thank you
Geoff

Hi Geoff,

I have put this model in front of me, but I tested a bit in my favorite and checked computer store the plug on the site Web of Toshiba.

It s great computer laptop for applications such as office, emails, photos, music, Internet, etc. 17-inch screen is large and perfect for Blu - ray and other videos. Also it s comfortable to work on it. With the second generation of Intel Core processors it of Nice to work because it has good performance. In addition, it has speakers Onkyo.

The preinstalled version of Windows 7 offers a few nice applications like Eco Utility, which helps save energy and improves the life of the battery, anti-virus program, burning, and other tools are already preinstalled. So it s really read to use.

Other Toshiba C670 and P770 models have 17 display too.

    Hello

I ve been looking at this laptop for a few days now and I m thinking go for it when I get my pay.
I just want to know if someone there what they think of him. What's the life of the battery as etc.

    Congratulations in advance :)

    Hello

I use Toshiba laptops for long time now and to be honest I don't like the L series laptops. The notebooks are OK, but I don't like the design. This negative one s for me

I must also say that quality-price ratio for this laptop is great, but I prefer to improve the design and because of this, I have my second Satellite phone.
Back to Satellite L350-170. I don't know how much it costs, but for that money, you will get excellent laptop with great 17 inch screen and it is perfect for every working day.
There is also a webcam with built-in microphone allowing you a perfect by Skype and other messengers communication.
For the life of the battery is not possible to provide the exact duration, but it is similar to my Satellite and I can work on 1.5 hours of battery power. But to be honest, this laptop is for me although permanent replacement and Office to work on the desktop with AC power supply.
OK all of us have different opinions on this subject.

So the question is who would you need the laptop. You want to upgrade the RAM and so on (you can improve it up to 4 GB)?
Talk about this with your local dealer.

  • Your opinion about Satellite A100-906

    I'm about to buy.
    Anyone can recommend?

I personally interested in the life of its graphics and battery.

I do have problems with Go7600 overheat?
    If she is underclocked?
    No problem with the CD/DVD-ROM?

The laptop seems to be not not bad.
To my knowledge, it has been bundled with Intel Core Duo (Yonah) T2400 1.83 GHz CPU and nVIDIA GeForce Go7600 FX card supports 256 MB graphic memory. It is not a shared memory!
You ask for chart overheat? I do not have this kind of problems. As far as I know the Toshiba own graphics drivers are supported an option against the overheating of the graphics card.

But it seems that it is not always possible to install the drivers of different graphics on laptops. Therefore, it would be possible that you will not get the latest graphics driver. It is sometimes a little boring because new computer need especially games the latest drivers graphics card.

However, the duration of battery life depends on the use of the laptop and it is not easy to tell the exact time. The laptop must support a DVD player - Super Multi (+ R) double layer.
I read that sometimes readers can't burn CDs or DVDs, but in my opinion every media is compatible and therefore these problems occur.

  • Satellite L775-111 and Blu - Ray player

Okay, so I got my Satellite L775-111 for awhile now and at this time its served me faithfully. Recently, however, the original hard drive died and I had to replace it. Essentially, he did have a problem with that, but I'm now pulling my hair on the drive Blu - Ray from Toshiba or, on the contrary, the lack of it. It was on the original machine, but with the change of drive hard, I lost all my software. I've been trawling through pages of pilot and various other software sites, but I can only find UPDATES that obviously do not work without the drive itself.

Does anyone know where I might be able to get the software and the drivers again? Not being not able to watch my DVD/Blu-Ray becomes a real pain and I don't really know of any other service that I can use without having to pay even more money for it.

Have you tested drive features using several different original BD movies?

  • Difference between Satellite L775-111 and L775-13D

These two laptops have the same features except the 13D is 6 GB of RAM and less expensive 29 books. Am I missing something?

    Thank you
    Geoff

    Hi geoff01,

You can compare the two laptops on the site of Toshiba UK Web:
    http://UK.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/product/satellite-L775-111/1106842
    http://UK.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/product/satellite-L775-13D/1110294

It seems that they have the same specifications but the 13D L775 has 6 GB RAM instead of 4 GB so I would buy the 13j :) version

  • Need your opinion on Satellite A110-153

    Hello

AI? m new here and here? m looking for a laptop. The A110-153 seems interesting to me.
Could someone give me more information as comments on what are the + and - of the product?
Also, I saw on a site that has this laptop has 2 hard drives. Is this true? I can't find it anywhere (toshiba.com). Also, I find that strange, I never heard that a laptop has 2 hard drives or disks.
CA? I think that s too bad that this laptop has an integrated video card.
What I want to do with the laptop is:
    -Internet
    -Ms office
-work with images (I have a digital camera and a digital video camera)
    -A small Photoshop

    What? s your advice?

    Hello

I found a few pictures of the Satellite A110-153 and in my opinion, the laptop is very nice
The laptop supports the processor Intel Core Duo (Yonah) T2050 1.6GHz and you can upgrade the memory up to 4 GB
I put t know where you found the information on 2 HDD, but as far as I know there's a single 100 GB HARD drive installed.

But I found a downside. The notebook support only an Intel 945GM 8-128 MB shared memory graphics card.
But not don t worry it s strong enough to work with photo and MS office applications.

  • Need your opinion on Satellite L300D-11V

In contemplating this laptop priced at 349 to curries. Main use is word processing, music. I player videos download. eBay and general navigation. Chose this one because of the availability and its construction in webcam and microphone.

New to all this... are there disadvantages I ve heard Vista these slows down, but you can t get it with XP?
The price is right? Observations of information please.
There was so many variations on the Toshiba site, I got a little confused!
    TKS

I don't know if you can have the Satellite L300D-11V with licensed XP, but Vista with SP1 is almost as fast as Windows XP.
The Satellite L300D with Vista has enough four power your use with word, downloads, etc.

Is this a good deal? What is the best?

    Thanks Wilf

    Hello

It is not easy to be realistic. If you use your laptop for the office and the typical daily activities, it's OK and I'm sure that you will be satisfied with it.

Maybe you should talk with assurance and ask if you can get the money instead of new material.
Take the money, put a bit of it, and buy the new notebook with the best material and components as best webcam, harman/kardon speakers and so on.

  • Your opinion about Tecra A4-227

    Hi all!

I come from Hungary, I'm very bad at English, so I'm sorry. I would like to buy a laptop Tshiba (Tecra A4-227). I would like to known this laptop has that quality, and what you think, it is a laptop good or bad?

    Goodbye: Attka

    Hello Attka

First of all, I must tell you that Tecra is a unit commercial and very comfortable to use. You can plug it into the Advanced Port Replicator (connector docking station on the underside) and on this path should not attach all the cables you need. The unit is already preinstalled with WXP Pro and the hardware components are very good. I put t know the exact specification of A4 - 227, but you can have it with different graphics (64 MB or 128 MB) and HDD (40 GB, 60 GB or 80 GB).

AFAIK unit has WLAN and it is Bluetooth ready, and you can build in Bluetooth card whenever you want. The design is very nice and in my opinion, it is very nice unit. Before you buy a collection of information on the graphics card, display and that lead is because Tecra comes with three different discs. One of them even comes with drive DVD-Super Multi double layer.

Compare prices and have lots of fun.

    Good bye

  • Need your opinion on Satellite P500-1DX

    Hello

I think buying a P500-1DX because it looks good on paper but there are a limited number of customers online, so I was hoping that those who have had experience with the laptop could post their comments on the advantages and disadvantages of the machine. I'm mostly multimedia oriented.

    Thank you
    Schlosser

I've been using Satellite P500-128 nearly 6 months now and I can say that I am very satisfied. I use it primary for my work by using internet and Microsoft Office.

When I have the time I use it with Skype for conference call with my friends. Cam functionality and the microphone is just great. From time to time, I watch movies and do multimedia usual stuff like connection digital camera for photo data transfer or movies, burns or copy on external HARD disk or DVD media.

The performance is really good, and so far I have t did not notice any problems with it.
The display is optimal. I love this screen 18. The sound is amazing and I can just recommend you to buy this machine.

It is large enough for laptop and maybe not the best for mobile use, but if you want to use it at home for private use and entertainment, it's really the right solution.
The price is OK and for the price, you will get a piece of hardware.

  • Your opinion about RAM latency

    Hello

This may seem like a silly question but, is it better (performance wise) have a high density of RAM with a high latency (e.g., 1 G CASE 5-5-5-15) GOLD of low density and low latency (512 MB 4-4-4-12, for example)?

    Thank you
    Oliver

    Hello Olivier

I guess I didn't understand you well, but I recommend you to use 1 GB of RAM. :)
Make sure that you are using compatible. By the way: I guess you have compatible RAM 1 GB module and M50 is PA3313U-2M1G.

  • Need your opinion on Satellite P100-429

    Hello

Just a few questions on this laptop until I get it when it comes to £400.

I especially need school and no games. I am skilled in computer science I need a PC range.

Beautiful appearance Do Q1), the blue lights in the speakers
    Q2) is like a microcomputer
    Q3) what size is.
Q4) you have the problem like the fact cracks of the hinges.
Q5) that the Remote looks like and is at - it a video showing the computer

    Thank you
    Machanic

    1. Yes - very, if you like cars modded or need for speed, or a Mac on steroids (bronze cover, blue lights, harman kardon speakers), then Yes.
    2. you can use it as a desktop computer, the screen is large enough for programming on without too much trouble.
3 17 inches, you'll definitely need a bag of 17 inches, preferably the new style laptop backpacks with protection against shock, unless you want a pain arm lug around this topic (is not * that * heavy, heavy just irritable).
    4. maybe - but the Toshiba warranty Guys tell me it is being fixed, new reinforced plastic are mounted when I get mine replaced (and probably they will change the models for sale). You can't have the problem.
    5. the remote control is optional - I got one - should I have one? :)

  • Your opinion about next Qosmio G40

Ok.. I just saw the next Qosmio G40, which was launched at the Japan and I am stunned by the specifications and design it s. Who has seen haven´t I advise to check. Anyone know when it will be launched in Europe? Maybe for this Christmas I guess.

What an amasing machine... it s big... in fact, looks like a tank... but what a tank!
Dungeon of Toshiba on the good deals.

    Hello

I saw some pictures of the next Qosmio G40. It's really amasing. Qosmio will be better and better. I heard that this G40 will have 5 speakers and subwoofer in the lower corner. This will allow full Dolby Surround and watch movies on it are going to be really nice. This book will have also the first HD-DVD burner.

I don't know with certainty when this laptop will be available, but I'm sure it will happen this summer and probably to the United Kingdom at the beginning.

  • Your opinion about decide is it a GTX 560, 570, 580 or 590 card to buy.

    Hi all

I read a few posts on the CS5 compatible current maps, but I still have an ew issues before deciding what to buy.  I want to make sure that I get the good card (s) first.  I have a W7 x 64 processors i7920 with 12 GB of ram ddr3.

I do mainly industrial videos with 2 to 5 in most video layers and some boris Red 5 effects and transitions. I like to use the movement and shadows on the insert images and text.  I also do a little animation 3D using Lightwave 3D.

My question is on what graphics card be more appropreate for this kind of work allowing me to make me insights quickly and play the timeline in real time or near real time.

Would one or two GTX 560, 570, 580 or 590 suffice or do I need something more powerful?

    Thank you.

I can't provide to associated Adobe specs, but here:

    http://www.hwcompare.com/9133/GeForce-GTX-560-TI-vs-GeForce-GTX-580/

The 580 will certainly give better performance, but the 560 will be more effective. If you can afford it, go 580.
