YouTube Chromeless player ceases to magnify up to width full-screen mode full screen

Hi all!

I tested my skin for chromeless YouTube Player and seems that it functioned normally.

All the graphic elements, including the TLFTextFields, are stored in the external SWF, all code AS3 - loading SWF.

I use a ProLoader class to load the SWF.

However, when I tried to join skin Player code my code of the Home Page, I immediately fell on two issues:

1 TLFTextFields ceased to display the fonts appropriate;

2 YouTube Chromeless player has continued to expand up to width full-screen mode full screen, so all the parameters of publication have kept the same...

AS3. FullScreen issues. True Mode.jpg

AS3. FullScreen issues. Paddings.jpg

Although I managed to deal with the TLFTextField bug by replacing the instances with vars in loaded SWF, I don't have any idea what to do with these pads in mode full screen... Or removal of all the children on stage before loading YouTube Player skin, nor the size of the rearmament required player can't make it work...

Any help is appreciated!

I don't know what you mean but the following:

"The area is limited by main SWF proportions.

This means that if I create my main SWF with a 4:3 aspect ratio, I am able to properly see my content in mode full screen on a 4:3 monitor, but not on that of 16:9 and vice versa. »

Is not true in general. You can always resize your objects you want including situations when you switch to the mode full screen. It may be true for YT player however since you say that it is resized in native mode - nothing, most likely, a problem with the way which manage you objects in mode full screen. Difficult to say without seeing the code.

  • YouTube Chromeless Player control Help!

    Hi, I'm tearing my hair out trying to add controls such as pause, and volume to my Youtube Chromeless Flash Player with actionscript 3, tried to work with the reference that google provides, but it still does not work. Here is what I tried, can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong?

    function pauseVideo() {}

    If {(player)

    player.pauseVideo ();

    }

    }

    pauseBtn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, pauseVideo);

    Thank you

    You must have the compiler error - code is not compiled. Event handler expects an argument - event.

    Thus, the correct code would be:

    function pauseVideo(e:MouseEvent):void
    {
              if (player)
              {
                        player.pauseVideo();
              }
    }

    pauseBtn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, pauseVideo);

  • Adobe Flash Player ActiveX 15 - exe version course shows white screen

    Hello

    After the ActiveX Adobe Flash Player 15 , flash course (EXE version) show blank screen. We converted the flash file to .exe using flash and the courses are copied to the internal network. We generally use the LAN path to the file exe flash courses to launch the course. It works if we install the previous version of ActiveX. (It also works if we use the LAN path as mapped drive, but we cannot do it for everyone.)

    Please let us know if you know the solution.

    Thank you

    We have recently made a number of changes related to safety at the way UNC paths are processed in Flash Player and in addition, have restricted some network requests are made for swf run locally running with local authorities - with file system.  These changes were necessary, because we were on the wrong side of a confluence of old and new standards and conventions, and approach very forgiving to incorrectly built URL in most of the major browsers.

    Wherever we could, we have added good debugging messages, so install a version of debugger Flash ActionScript and running the application can provide you with some useful clues. However, with the increase in complexity, I am not convinced that using Flash Player for SWF running locally in the browser is going to be smooth, sail and I anticipate that we will see additional churn that we evaluate and align with the expectations of the modern in this regard web.

    The good news is that we have Adobe AIR, which is designed to make it really easy to transfer your Flash content, and it specifically designed to build applications, desktop, free of the complexity of the browser plug-ins.  As a less expensive strategy and long term, I would encourage highly allows you to evaluate porting your SWF file on in the ATMOSPHERE.  It can be as easy as just changing the publication target in a recent version of Flash Professional and distribute your application as an AIR charge instead.

    Alternatively, you can raise a local Web server and host the content and the SWF file.  Really hairy edge-cases come from the fact that we are trying to take over HTTP and UNC paths simultaneously.  If you use HTTP, things are much, much simpler.

  • Graphic bugs in YouTube HTML5 player

    When I played YouTube videos lately, I noticed that a bunch of black boxes have been appearing on the player (the controls under the video) interface while the video is playing. Unfortunately, I can't provide a good screenshot, as the boxes come and go too fast for me to get. This problem always occurs when I restart Firefox in safe mode. In my view, that we started to happen with Firefox 37.

    This problem seems to occur more with the new YouTube Player.

  • (Recent) YouTube HTML5 Player problems

    Hello. Recently, playing YouTube content using the HTML5 player has become impossible due to reading problems (audio/video are restless, loading content becomes extremely slow, browser stops responding).

    Reading with Chrome, no problem.
    Return to playback of Flash, no problems.
    The browser cache has been cleared, does not resolve the issue.

    It therefore seems to be a problem with one of the latest updates of Firefox or maybe some of the recent changes on the site of YT.
    Any ideas?

    • Sorry, I just noticed there is another further below similar to this one topic. If possible, feel free to merge.

    You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

    You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

    If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

    Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit ' (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: Firefox > quit Firefox. Linux: Firefox/file > exit)

    In the Firefox Safe mode, these changes are effective:

    • all extensions are disabled (subject: addons)
    • Default theme is used (no persona)
    • userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome in the profile folder file)
    • default toolbars is used
    • JIT JavaScript compilers are disabled
    • hardware acceleration is turned off (Options > Advanced Options > general)
    • plugins are not affected

  • Re: Can't watch YouTube - Flash Player problem

    Hello

    I made one off-reboot the box. After more than 200 updates all seems to work fine only takes 35 seconds to load instead of the 10 minutes before.
    But have one problem: try to watch Youtube videos, I get the message I have flash player, no probs.
    I download flash player, it said installation successful, fine, not when I go on Youtube and select the song that I'm informed that I need flash player to watch.

    I expel flashplayer and install again, but still same message you need flash player to view.

    All ideas welcome thanks,

  • YouTube video plays in the left upper corner of the screen.

    Very well. The problem is that since the update for Firefox 37.0.2 I have problems playing video on Youtube.com and sometimes Newgrounds.com. In Youtube I play a lot of videos show only now in the upper left corner of the screen and the size of this video does not change even in full screen. There's the size of a small tile. I tried to disable add ons, and virtually everything suggested on various web sites. On new grounds, videos and games returned backwards and forth like the occasional video, but the video question on Newgrounds is not as bad as the issue that Firefox has with some of the games.

    I tried the games on Internet Exploder and exact same videos and I get these questions. It started to happen after the update to 37.0.2.

    I use Windows 8 (COMPLETELY up to DATE) and I have the latest version of Flash. I managed to narrow it down to a problem of Firefox and many others still reported in various sites addressing this issue as a bug in Firefox. I agree with this observation. Even my video drivers are also updated. My computer uses the Intel 4600 drivers.

    Features model relating to this issue:
    ASrock Z97 Pro3
    Intel graphics (onboard)
    16 GB of RAM

    If a right click on the drive on YouTube shows a pale menu mentioning the HTML5 player, which uses built-in features of Firefox. If she mentions the Flash drive, then it uses the Flash plugin. It would be useful to know the next steps.

    It is a standard orientation which addresses the most common issues with the Flash Player plugin. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:

    (1) If you have any recorders/downloaders who interact with Flash media to ensure that they are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily.

    (2) turn off hardware acceleration in Firefox and Flash

    (A) in Firefox, uncheck the box here:

    "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > General > "use hardware acceleration when available.

    Which takes effect the next time you exit and restart Firefox.

    (B) in Flash, right-click in the press and choose settings, then the first mini tab and uncheck the box to use hardware acceleration. More information in this article from Adobe technical support: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues

    (3) turn off mode protected (Windows Vista and later)

    The functionality of the safe_mode of the Flash player plugin has security benefits, but there seem to be some compatibility issues on some systems. There is a hidden for this parameter:

    (A) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (B) in the search above the list box, type or paste the flash and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (C) double-click the preference dom.ipc.plugins.flash.disable - protected mode to change its value from false to true.

    It cannot take effect until all the Flash was discharged for a few minutes, or you close Firefox.

  • Document from Windows Media Player AND MS Windows open on the same screen

    Hello.

    I'm doing a very long media (recorded voice) transcript of court recorded on Windows Media Player in a document typed on MS Word (using Windows XP).

    I would like to know if it is possible to have Windows Media Player and my document strikes MS Word open on the SAME screen.  I am currently switch between two programs using my bottom toolbar.  It is extremely time consuming and not very well.  Ideally, I would like to open my Windows Media Player, in a small screen on the right upper side of my MS Word document.  This would allow me to work out of the same screen without having to click will result in my bottom toolbar to switch between these programs.  I'm sure that I explained properly :-).  ANY help, suggestions and advice will be highly appreciated.

    Kind regards

    AJS

    You should be able to do it by opening the two programs, then right click on the taskbar and selecting "Tile Windows vertically".  Just make sure that they are only two open programs.

    This screenshot shows WMP and WordPad, because I do not have Word installed, but it should work exactly the same thing:

    I can't get Windows Media Player to become full screen.  The screen turns white, but there still audio.  I just upgraded to version 11, but the problem is still there.  Any advice?

    Yes, the video driver is something else. If you are not familiar with the update of your system... it can be better if you ask someone more experienced to help you.

    The following article provides information on how to identify your video card, how to find a new driver and how to install it:

  • Windows media player will not play just goes to green screen

    Windows media player will not play or will be windows media center. they have just the green screen of goto, it is solid

    Hello bluepole,.

    1. the Media Player and Media Center work fine before?

    2. the problem occurs with all types of files you play or any particular file?

    Try the methods below to resolve this issue:

    Method 1:

    Reduce hardware acceleration (or turn off) video hardware acceleration (if supported by your video card)

    1 open the screen resolution by clicking on the start start button Picture button, click on the Panel, and then, under appearance and personalization, click on adjust the screen resolution.

    2. click on advanced settings, click the Troubleshooting tab, and then click on change settings.

    3. move the hardware acceleration slider to none to reduce or turn off video hardware acceleration.

    Method 2:

    If you are not able to play all the files, make sure that the right codecs are installed on the computer for videos to play in Windows Media Player and Windows Media Center.

    Refer to this article for frequently asked Codecs:

    Codecs: Frequently asked questions

    Method 3:

    Make sure that you install the latest drivers for your graphics card. You can see the underside of section which will give you information on how to update the drivers:

  • Player Windows Media displays is not on the screen

    My Windows Media Player is played, but it does not appear on the screen... it looks like its current running in the desktop background? Displays tasks on the bar but the screen? I can right click on the far right of my office and the WMP menu appears, but no picture will appear.

    Hi Rosieand7,

    It looks like the Windows media player is in Mini Player mode.

    Mini Player mode allows you to minimize the player to the Windows task bar, while having access to playback controls and the ability to view visualizations and information about the currently playing item.

    In the mini Player, click anywhere in the drive that is not used as a button or volume control. The Player returns to the way it was before.
