Zoom slider

Hello

I was wondering if someone could help me. I saw a picture online, who said he used a "zoom slider" and I was hoping that someone could elaborate on this page or how it might be used in Photoshop? I don't know if it's possible, but I really liked the effect that there was. Perhaps a link to a tutorial appropriate video?

If someone could help it would be appreciated, thanks.

Rodney

My guess would be fuzzy Radial with the zoom setting.

  • Zoom slider and a padlock, in the missing library mode

Hi, compare the zoom slider and a padlock, in the library mode is absent from my main screen and doesn't appear in the second window, if this field is selected.  It's a change with LR5.6, or do I have to do something to select this feature?  I find the comparison function much easier to use on the main screen, rather than in the second window.

The padlock and the cursor should show on two screens, but maybe you have the toolbar hidden. Try pressing the button T a couple of times to toggle the toolbar.

  • Zoom slider control

I worked on a project that uses a mapping and a zoom control:

    http://www.handprintwebdesign.co.UK/coverage/coverage3/coverage3.htm

At the moment the graphics of zoom are fixed, but would be good if we could possibly use something to indicate at what zoom level is currently displayed, such as the cursor on the weather map on the BBC Weather site:

    http://News.BBC.co.UK/weather/forecast/10209

    Pointers much appreciated.

I have a laptop windows 8.  No matter what I do, printing seems to go down to 25%.  I have to go to the zoom function and resize to a readable size.  Y at - it somewhere that I can go to turn it off?  I don't know what happens when my cursor 'accidentally' lands in the area of narrowing.  Is there a way to stop it?

Moved from Vista Performance and Maintenance Forum.

Unfortunately I can't tell you exactly, because it varies depending on who built your computer (or more precisely, what company built the touchpad for the manufacturer).  For example, Dell provides easy options to set the title of the section of the mouse in the Control Panel, but Toshiba computers have any options for that at all.

Can let me know who built your laptop, and I can try to find it for you.  Or try to contact that company directly.

  • How to stop the maps zoom before or back on the paging upwards or downwards?

On Macbooks, the trackpad causes some windows of page zoom (slide up) or zoom out (by dragging down). Usually, this happens with windows that show cards, but other windows, too. This doesn't cause me any irritation, the end since it happens several times a day. I drag it to the bottom of a web page, completely unsuspecting and, in doing so, I slip on a window which completely zoomed out, making it impossible to see what was there. In the case of a map window, this moves the center point of the map to a preset, far from where it starts. To adjust the new focus TI where I needed.

There is no need to have this function trackpad, since almost all the cards on the web comes with a built in zoom sufficient control. So I would like to disable this feature special trackpad. But I have not found a way to do this.

Anyone know how? (Assuming that it is possible to turn it off.) Otherwise, I think that Apple should reprogram its trackpad. I don't want to zoom function included.)

You should be able to disable this feature in the preferences system paved. Should be a checkbox under two fingers to zoom in the screen.

  • How to make a slide/scan image effect like in #selfie

Please see http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/1444012 -a question (it was mentioned here that AE will do better for what I want to do, I will post the link here)

What I want to do is to reproduce the image zoom/slide/shot you can see in the video.

Can you please help me get started on the right track?  I am new to AE and need a bit of a start - that is if you had to, what technique would we approach it with?

I can handle probably do one or two manually, but my problem is that there are so many effects (similar) and I don't want no video to become a daunting chore, so looking for a way to somehow make it very easily.

And that's why I write - hopefully find the technique to do this effect to right and one is it batch without realizing it is too difficult and giving up...!

  • RE: Zoom with the mouse wheel

    Hello everyone.

Is it possible to Zoom in and out with Scroll mouse in Lightroom, just as you can do that in Photoshop.

Also, I noticed inside the library, you can zoom in and out with the Zoom Slider at the bottom of the page.

But there is no cursor inside of developing Mode of Zoom, why there is no cursor inside develop Mode Zoom?

    Thank you.

Press [T] to activate the toolbar of development.  On the side of the tool bar HR is an arrow down. Click on it and put a check mark next to Zoom.

The reason that your scroll wheel doesn't zoom is because it is normally mapped to the brush size/Feather functions.

You can force a scroll zoom by moving the cursor of your mouse over the zoom slider, clicking once and then scroll.

  • Zoom in and out of picture

How can I get the cursor to zoom in an image?

Although there are several ways to perform a zoom, some of which have been listed above, there is another way, I see that actually uses a cursor:

    1. choose the command window - Navigator.

    2. Note the Zoom slider control at the bottom right.

Open the event and under the lower end of the left hand, slide the zoom slider until the number desired photos appear

  • Is it possible to control the Organization of Photos?

I finally bit the bullet and improved Mavericks with El Capitan and who now have to deal with pictures. I understand that pictures is designed to look like my iPhone and the iPad, but I don't store 64 000 photos on my iPhone. I'm not interested in using iCloud, so the fact that the Photos work well with iCloud is questionable. I got my photos carefully classified into events in iPhoto, often also the keywords tag and gathered in the smart Albums. I know that these events still exist on the sidebar in Photos, but I can scroll is no longer if they visually, using the key photos to see what event I'm (and scroll through a list of 450 events in a sidebar is quite heavy). There is no way to quickly scroll through my large library AT ALL. When I look at the years/collections/moments 'organization', it looks like big piles of photos, with no logic in how they are organized. You can not just get a representative of the group photograph, he must see all (& they are so small, that really nothing appears if you go at times for each & every group). They have random dates (sort of chronological, but not always), random places, that was (I found a lot of crazy places assigned - for example, a group of photos that were all taken home with a unknown place not assigned - in another State, no less!) - in short, not useful organization. If I want a picture in particular of January 2013, it will take a little research.

I would like to put pictures together into groups that make sense to me. Is it possible to do that, far from putting a keyword on each. unique. Photo?

p.s., Maybe someone else has already asked/answered my question, but when I tried to search for similar issues, the search engine could not do. It turns out that "Photos" can also be read as simple 'photos', so the search engine came up with hundreds of responses - any question with the word "photos". Note to Apple: choose a single word to your photo in the future program, please. Sheesh.

Events are dead as a concept for the organization. Photos used Moments.

You can change the size of the images with the zoom slider.

You can use the search tool to quickly get to January 2013 - just type Jan... and see suggestions.

If you want to group images by your own categories can use keywords or smart Albums Albums. It's really no different than iPhoto.

Other than that, it's perfectly reasonable to find that the app is not good for you. It is not mandatory to use it and there are other managers of photos out there that would suit your workflow better. This is especially true if you have no use for the photo Cloud element.
