  OK so yesterday my computer want install certain updates and before it finished installing them it says error cannot finish install. My computer froze and I had to reboot. When he started toward the high nothing worked he says he couldn't find itunes when I went to open or something. I then looked at my little internet icon on the bottom right and it has an x, as the connection does not work, but I can always get on the internet and all im on it now and the x is there. Also defender of windows has stopped working with the error 0x800106ba I then went to try to start the windows defender services and he said 0x800b0109. I also went to look in windows live update and it has a x on it saying that it does not work. I searched everywhere on the internet and say go to the command prompt and put these dll files but some of them come the errors that they cannot be found. I even tried to uninstall windows defender to try to reinstall it but I could not even find in Add/Remove program file. I then tried some things on the help section of microsoft that I found on ebay, but that no longer works. Does anyone know how to fix this.

  You are running Microsoft Security Essentials, AVG, Norton or McAfee? If you run one of those, she didn't have Defender. It's good, not bad. Not only is there potential conflict, but there is no reason to have both; basically to have something very similar to the built-in Defender, and both running at a time will be your performance level and create the risk of problems that are contrary to the other.
