  I'm having problems to make mail - my mac is a Mac Os x el capitan - error msg says 24 iMac try to connect to this account POP failed. Verify that the user name and password are correct. But they are correct and that I am able to receive mail through mail2web and my tablets (android)

  This error is caused by a bad user name or password.

  To change your username and/or password of e-mail, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Mail menu at the top left of the screen and select Preferences
  2. When the Preferences window opens, make sure the tab accounts is selected.
  3. Select the account in the left column that connection doctor shows the error for.
  4. On the account information tab on the right, update the fields username and password, to halfway to the bottom of the page.
  5. Close the window, or select another tab/account to be prompted to save your changes.
  6. Re-test checking for mail and if the settings are correct there should be no problem.

  All gmail messages between March 10, 2016 and April 15, 2016 disappeared.

• BlackBerry 8820 ATT Smartphones v4.5 errors

  They use common access cards (CAC) to make mail encrypted via the BlackBerry where I work. New BCPS are not recognized by the drivers that are loaded with version 4.2 of the 8820 software. I found that the 4.5 recognizes the PCA correctly, but the software gives me several errors.

  Read / unread is purely an indicator. It has no real meaning. If you go into the menu (alt + T) tools > options > advanced > reading and display, you can change when a mail is marked as read in immediately to 10 seconds (this is what outlook express used) up to 1000 seconds.

  You can create a folder for iCloud in the same way, when you create folders for any of your e-mail accounts. However, I suspect that you hope to create an Inbox specially for your alias addresses, which you can not do so. Aliases are aliases for your primary address, they are not different addresses, as such mail to your iCloud address and it's aliases are all moving in the same Inbox.

  What you can do is create a folder for mail addressed to your alias and create a rule to move relevant mail in the Inbox in this folder.

  There is an extension that allows you to rearrange the order of the accounts in the easy folderpane. It is manually sort folders.
