10.3.5 WebLogic deployment with < java > application.xml

I have an application with an ejb, I am migrating to OC4J.
When I try to deploy to Weblogic 10.3.5 I get the following error:
Problem of VALIDATION PROBLEMS FOUND: cvc-complex - type. 2.4: expected element 'alt - dd @http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee' instead of 'java @http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee' here in the module @http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee item: < null >

It's my application.xml:
<! Application of DOCTYPE PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD J2EE Application 1.2 / / IN" "http://java.sun.com/j2ee/dtds/application_1_2.dtd" >

WebLogic seems to complain about the element of java, but it is allowed in the application.xml J2EE reference.

I'm new to EJB. Have others experienced this problem? How can I solve it?
I am able to deploy the ear if I remove the < java > element. What is the importance of the removal of the element < java >?

I followed the documentation here:
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E21764_01/Web.1111/e13706/app_xml.htm#i1079446

That points to here:
http://Java.Sun.com/XML/NS/JavaEE/application_5.xsd

Advice or pointers are greatly appreciated.
S

You might miss ejb and client should defined in two different modules.

  • Deployment of Java Application on air not to read the ALX file?

    Hello

I made a simple application in Java, using Blackberry JDE, I want to deploy OTA.

I generated an ALX file using "Generate ALX file" in the menu "Project" Blackberry JDE after previously setting values in the properties for the project.  If I open my ALX file in Notepad, I can see my values in there.

However, when I download my app (using a URL Pointant towards my.) JAD file on a web server), nothing of the ALX file appears in the download screen (version = 0,= seller,...).

I found a post on this same forum indicating that I need to set values in the properties of the workspace instead.  I did... and it's working now, but I have access to change only the version number and the seller.  I don't have access to the application for title or the description of the application.

On my web server, I copied the. JAD. JAR. COD and. ALX files.

I would like to be able to specify a description of the application on the download screen, and see also the title of the app on the screen Options/Advanced Options/Applications.  At present, it seems that the file name of the. JAD file is used instead of the 'title' in the. ALX file.  When I go on my icon of the application, the title of the correct application appears.

    Am I missing something?

Is there a way to do this?

    Thank you!

BTW, I tested it with a real device (Storm 9530, OS 4.7)

Only the JAD and cod use OTA Download.  The pot and the alx are not required.

I would consider the information in the developer's Guide for deploying applications.  You will find a less readable for 4.7 online version here:

Can I use Flex Performance Profiler to profile my request. ??

I ask this question as I have ad read the threshold to Adobe site and my Application includes java methods

"You can use the Profiler to profile ActionScript 3.0 applications.

Can someone please tell me what this means? and I can use the Performnace Flex Profiler.

If you want to evaluate the response time when you call a service, you can use Charles Web Debugging Proxy as it is able to control the calls using the AMF protocol.

If you want to monitor is the ActionScript objects from Java in the class that retrieves the result in the service, you can use the Flex Profiler.

    Hello

You can install the database using a response file. Depending on the setup of your Java application, you can create a sort of meta-Installer creates a response file for the database and a response/parameter file for your application setup program and then run both in a single step.
See the corresponding [url http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17781_01/install.112/e18802/toc.htm#BABCCGCF] section of the Setup Guide for more information about the answer file.

Can user, you please tell us your exact Jdev version?

The error message tells you that the server has been started, but is not available under the localhost:7102 of access

The port doesn't look good for me. The built-in Server normally uses port 7101. You can check which port you configured for the server?

You can check this on the "application server" tab and select the built-in server, right-click, and select Properties. In the dialog box, you see the configuration.

  • Data file associated with the application of deployment

I have a file of data/database (~ 256 k) I would like to include with my application, but not as a resource file.

I know that I can group as a resource, but I want to change the file because the application is used, so may not be part of the cod file.

I am currently thinking of the deployment of the application without the data file, and then let the app to download the data file on first use, or as a background thread (in which I may have to provide some stupid message).  I hope not to make one of these.

Instead, is it possible to deploy the application with a file that will be written in the memory of the device (file:///store) as 1 a download?  If this is not the case, what are some viable approaches to this problem.

    Maybe this:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/resource-Installer-to-SD-card-application-SA...

Downloading in the app is I think a different approach (and that I took).

  • Problem with the deployment of an application.

Hi, I'm just starting to work on the development of BB and I'm having a problem with deployment/installation of applications on a Storm 2.  When my own app could not load I've compiled some of the demos provided with the JDK and have the same problem with them.

    Cases in the sample:

I have compiled the accelerometer demo (and the bitmap demo) without error, using plug-in in Eclipse.  Then I try to install either software version 6 Desktop application and receive the following error message, "there was an error importing files.  No additional files are located.  "Your file may contain applications that already exist in the list of applications, are not compatible for your device or errors.

I know it compiled without errors, do not know if these demos are compatible with my camera, and I know that they are not already installed.  Also, I change the paths of any file or folder when they were packed oringinal.

I hope it's an easy issue and miss me just something obvious.  Thanks in advance.

on linux, I am planning to install foundation, Essbase and planning.

so everything by deploying web applications in java on windows that I put a different name for "domain name".

as linux domain name will be 'EPMSystem', so for windows it would be different as 'EPMSystem1'.

There will be no problem if the domain names are the same for both linux and windows?

and for weblogic server port must be different as 7001 on linux and 7002 on HFM?

  • Please need help with the deployment of web applications in Jdeveloper 12 c

    Hello

I'm desperate for help guys. am trying to deploy a web application in weblogic server, but nothing works!

I have created a project in jdeveloper and created a jsp page in the project, what I want is to run this page!

I followed the instructions here: Deployment of Applications Web Fusion , I don't really know if I did good or bad, the document is too detailed and not understood clearly.

I am a newbie oracle user and trying to build a jsp web application connected to the oracle database. fails application deployment it says: cannot run application deployment IntegratedWeblogic error...

Please could you tell me the steps of deploying applications in Jdeveloper 12 c?
What deployment profiles, I need to create (ear, war, mar)?

This deployment descriptor, I need for my application work?

Please guys I am newbie to oracle, if you could give me simplified answers and straight instructions it will be appreciated .

    Thank you

It depends on your knowledge of jsp and the possible controllers like struts, the faces and the adf (which is an addon of jsf). ADF has the advantage that a large number of configurations and other stuff is handled for you. However, if you are familiar with Struts you can use it too.

The decision also depends on demand and what he should do. I can't comment on this, as I don't know.

As you use 12 c my recommendation is to use the stack complete adf, meaning adf faces and adfbc for access to the data in the Database.

There is a license for the adf if you want to deploy on a WebLogic Server, however there is a free version (adf essentials) that uses a GlassFish server.

  • Registration of a client device in a java application with BES/MDS

    Hi all

I put this thread here that my application is a java application, but it could have also listed under the section development push as well.

I have a part of my application that needs to connect to the BES to a certain company to receive push messages. The app works fine establishment of a listener and receiving thrusts by the MDS Simulator, and I also added more code to register the device with the BIS (BPA) from BIS example of Simon Hain.

Initially I thought that the he had to register with the BES, just like how register us with the BIS except change some settings, as do not add an app ID etc. I have created a basic application of the Z10 push and remember that coding is the same for the BIS and BES except that the application ID and address BIS have been left blank. But now, after some research, I think with Blackberry 6/7, to onboard with a BES connection (unless a middleware program requires us to send some data onboarding) to receive a Push message, we just open a connector to the port number using the deviceside = false setting and wait for help to arrive.

I looked on the net and forums to directly answer this question but can't seem to find one, that's why I'm asking here confirm.

Quite simply, taking example of Simon for base, if I plug a client device to a BES (where the server application didn't need any onboarding of the device, its function is to, just send a message to the JSON style to the MDS with the device PIN to the device) would need to register the client with BES/MDS device, as Simon does with its function of registerWithBpas() to register with BIS/BPA , or could I just go directly to opening a connection to a port with the parameter; deviceside = attached false and wait for a Push message to arrive.

Of course the devic has already been saved in the BES with its ID, e-mail address of the person using this device, etc.

Simon if you get a chance to personally respond to it, that would be great!

Thank you all for your time and your help.

    Rob

Do not enter the unit, simply push the spindle for the MDS and push message will appear on the device.  As you rightly point out, the device is already on the BES and must use the MDS to access the internet in any case.
