10 jumps old versions of Flash

Fund sovereigns game of versions 5-9, loading SWF with loadMovieNum. Now broke up with Flash 10.

See for example:

wholeo.net/Access/path/axPlugins.htm

Here's the script:

Unfortunately now that we are at the '10', some older detection scripts to break.

The problem here is that majorVersion includes only single digit numbers. He doesn't know how to see "10". He sees that the '1' at the beginning.

Officially, starting with this new release of the FP10 we are officially advise our developers to start to use SWFObject for their detection of Flash Player. Technical notes are updated, and the detection of Flash Player page should be updated very soon.

  • Old Version of Flash Player needed

    Hello

I just installed an old laptop with a touchscreen for my baby. I want him to play with some simple Flash games.

Unfortunately, the computer is always on Wndows 98 with the minimum hardware components. Where can I get older versions of flash player, which can still work on older machines?

Security is not a problem because the computer does not work online.

  • Remove old versions of Flash Player?

I downloaded Flash Player NPAPI 23 successfully today. I noticed on my control panel Windows (Vista) that Flash Player ActiveX 22 and 22PPAPI are still installed. Should I uninstall manually 22 versions?

Here the 3 different versions of Flash Player for different browsers:

    • NPAPI is for Firefox and browsers based on NPAPI
    • ActiveX is for Internet Explorer
      • If you use IE you want to install Flash Player ActiveX version 23.  Launch IE and go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download and install the latest version.
      • If you do not use IE, you can uninstall Flash Player ActiveX 22.
    • PPAPI is for browsers such as Opera Chrome.
      • If you use Opera, normally, you want to upgrade as well, however, there was a reported issue yesterday against Flash Player 23 and Opera (see Flash PPAPI 23.0.0.162 plugin does not work in Opera and chrome) so you can hold off on upgrading to Flash Player 23 PPAPI for the opera.
      • If you do not use Opera, you can uninstall Flash Player PPAPI 22.
  • old version of Flash in Chrome on Mac

I use a Macintosh running the Mavericks (10.9.5), Chrome 38.0.2125.122, and according to adobe.com, I Flash version 15,0,0,223 in Chrome and should have the 15.0.0.242 version. Looks like my system is quite a bit of delay on versions of Flash. I come back from a cruise where I had very limited Internet - don't know if that contributed to the problem. I know never to install a special version of Flash and see no Flash related extensions.

The answer turned out to be... wait.

Finally, hours later, I got an update to the next version of Chrome (39.x) and with this update Adobe Flash update to the current version.

  • Why Firefox says I have an old version of Flash

I've just updated Flash. This web page told me that I have the 19.0.0.226 Version: -.

    helpx.adobe.com/Flash-Player.html

and when I checked the Internet Explorer and Chrome, they agree.

However, if I go to the page Firefox Add - ons said I Shockwave Flash 19.0.0.185 and lists the file as:

    NPSWF32_19_0_0_185.dll, NPSWF32_19_0_0_226.dll

looks as if the two versions 19.0.0.185: and 19.0.0.226:are installed with Firefox running 19.0.0.185.

    Is this correct?

And, if so, would it be useful if I delete NPSWF32_19_0_0_226.dll?

    @Martin_666

If Firefox was in use during the upgrade the file to the previous version, will remain on the system and marked for deletion after a reboot. However, Firefox needs to detect the latest version, not the previous version.  Of after your most recent message, if you restarted your system between the time of your first post and your last post, the DLL from the previous version (19.0.0.185) has been removed.

    @S3ndG

Cyrco is not officially supported, as such, it might be a slightly different behavior from that of Firefox, which is officially supported.

  • Google Chrome (Dev channel) using the old version of Adobe Flash Player

    Hi all

I hope this isn't a stupid question. I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem regarding the browser Google Chrome Dev (Version 45.0.2438.3 dev - m (64 bit)) using an old version of Flash Player? Here are the details from the Plugins page. I have 18.0.0.205 beta installed (by ActiveX, NPAPI, PPAPI) However, these are the versions of 32-bit. Chrome will not give me access to any other plugin for flash player other than what is shown below. As far as I know the latest public version of the Chrome browser is 18.0.0.203?

    Hi all

It seems that the powers that be have solved that problem. The current version of Adobe Flash Player is now correct from Google Chrome Dev version 45.0.2453.0 dev - m (64-bit), as below:

    Shockwave Flash 18.0 r0

  • What version of flash is best for the brush strokes?

    Hello

I wonder what version of flash has the best brush strokes. I use CS6, and she constantly changing my shots. I've heard that old versions of flash have better brush strokes.

I'm an animator, and the Brush tool is something that I use constantly. I could have access to flash CS3 or CS4, and I heard that CS3 is pretty close to the version of macromedia.

I heard toon boom animate is amazing, but when I tried, there is no vector lines. Or maybe I am doing something wrong, but my features in toon boom animate are pixelated.

I'm basically looking for one version of flash software or another, which has a Brush tool when I shoot, that's what I wanted to draw and don't change my shots. (By the way, I do animation frame-by-frame)

    Thank you

    Porter

If you are planning an upgrade, Flash Professional CC 20141 comes with custom brushes, using which you can custom-make a brush for your drawing needs. You can learn more about this at:

I can't find the uninstall program to uninstall the old version of flash player on my macbook pro.  I use OS X 10.6.8.

  • BrowserLab provides stable version previous Flash Player?

Basically, I need to see how our pages, which include Flash widgets and should be accessible, is shaping up in Flash Player 7 and 8 and sometimes even in version 6. Is this possible? I thought that browsercam.com might do, but apprently not, I think I can install Macromedia Flash Player to archives on a server without Flash, mobile... but if not, I need a solution to test how older versions of Flash handle our stuff.

    Cheers.

The answer is no, this is currently not possible using BrowserLab, and frankly, unless this is not likely to be something that we we Landa in the near future, we see a lot of requests.

There are a few reasons why:

    • Content Flash is usually on the animations based on frames. BrowserLab takes static screen captures, so to show how works your Flash content, it will take either a number of shots of your page, or even a video. These two would be fairly resource intensive and costly for us
    • BrowserLab is currently supported 15 browser/operating system combinations. To support same 2 old versions of Flash in combination with the browsers/OS would multiply our needs of material far too

  • Old version persists after you run the Setup program

I downloaded the installer of flash (http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe) and installed it successfully, but when I checked the version of the plugin on my browser (firefox-> tools-> addons-> tab plugin) it still shows the old version "Shockwave Flash 10.0.45.2".  I also visited this page http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and it also show my version as 10.0.45.2.  Restart of firefox makes no difference.

I've already doubled checked that the version of the installer is 10.1.53.64.  Could someone help me please?  Thank you very much.

    I'm using firefox 3.6.3, Vista.

  • I have two versions of Flash installed - 9.0.45.0 and 16.0.0.235 - I can't delete the old version which means Web sites will not recognize the new drive. Help!

I have just downloaded the latest version of Firefox and I have this problem. Update does not help. If the old version deactivates'both 'never enable '. Please help - I'll have to use Chrome!

Try to use the topic: plugins page to find the physical location of this old plugin disk file. (Type or paste on: bar plugins in address and press ENTER.)

Traditionally, Windows 64 bit, it is here:

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

However, the old version may have got copied to a Mozilla folder somewhere along the way such as the Flash update is no longer aware of this.

    You can locate it?
