I tried some of the solutions that offered you, but I think what was my problem was caused by the presence of the index on an external hard drive and when the computer has been restarted the drive letter of the USB drive was not the same.  If I remember well, it was a problem that I wasn't yet able to rebuild the index.

I now have the index on my hard C at the level of the root drive.  I was about to point to the other half of a 16 GB flash drive which is also USB, but Windows Vista Home Premium does not only because it appears that are considered removable flash drives, but external USB drives are not presented in this category.

Currently I have about 74 000 items indexed.

    Hello

    You can try the following.

Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at f8 that you start the laptop to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press ENTER.  If windows will load in this mode, on the Start Menu, click principally made programs, click Accessories, click System Tools and run the system restore.  Choose a restore point at least 24 hours prior to the issue of logon and then proceed to the restoration.  When you are finished, Windows will restart as normal in order to check if you can now connect correctly.

Another option if the above does not help is as follows.

Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at f8 that you start the laptop to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select "Start using last good known Configuration" and press ENTER.

  • User files Service does not have this logon user failed to load profile and MS Office programs won't load

I have two problems which I think are related.

Please note that my OS is Vista Home Premium

    1. when I disabledUAC, I can load the MS Office programs successfully in both of my administrator accounts.

2 when I have this OPTION enabled, I can load the administrator account that was installed when I reinstalled Vista.

The other Admin account comes up with a message "the file of user Service has not this logon user failed to load the profile.

In addition, when I have UAC turned on I can't open any of my MS Office programs, such as MS Word: "Microsoft Word has not been installed for the current user. Please run Setup to install the application.

When I turn off UAC, I can access my second Admin account, and I can open MS Office programs in both accounts.

I tried the MS Fixit tool, run checkdsk and sfc/scannow, restarted my computer and threw a brick at her.

    Hi hasiel1234,

    1. what Microsoft fixit tool ran on the computer?

    2. the problem only occurs with Microsoft word application?

    3. using the Microsoft office 2002 application?

We do not recommend disabling user (UAC) on the computer access control because it prevents unauthorized computer changes.

I suggest that you enable the user (UAC) on the computer access control and try the steps and check them off below if it helps.

See the link below and try the steps mentioned them, check if it works.

"Hi we seem to have almost exactly the same problem (on portable House my wife running Windows Vista Home Premium) and accessible via a wireless connection at home)." The only difference is that she receives the message 'the Group Policy Client service has no logon' every time she enters her password, to attempt to gain access to his laptop. First line of action is to do a system restore, if you remember a 'good' date when you didn't have a problem. Use this good date as your restore point.
Do and go to safe mode to restore your system:
Here's how to get safe mode:

Shut down your computer > turn it back on and immediately and repeatedly tab key F8 until you see a black and white screen. The top/down arrow and select Safe Mode.

    System Restore:
Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, until the click > next > finish
To sit and wait. The machine restarts when it's done.

  • Group Policy Client service does not have...

By logging into my account on my Windows 7 admin, computer network, I get the message "the Group Policy Client Service failed to connect. Access denied. "  Is anyway to fix this?

    Hello

Yes but the updates have to reboot - you must restore back as much as it takes to
    correct the problem.

Another method that might help: references to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

Try these to erase corruption and missing/damaged file system repair or replacement.

    2. start - type in the search - box COMMAND find top - RIGHT CLICK – RUN AS ADMIN

Then do-, use the hidden administrator account to lower your user account (to the lowest level) APPLY/OK
then go back and reset it to the Admin APPLY/OK - this clearly allows corruption. Do this several times. Do the
same for other accounts that may be difficult. Then if necessary you can also reset your password
in the accounts. Do not forget to leave your Admin account and the other to the desired level.

Make another Admin account with your password and use it to fix the others if necessary. (just for
repair, don't use regular account, not a safety valve) always keep a spare ADMIN account.
