12 c alert perfromance Dataguard

Hi guys,.

I tried to configure alerts for specific events as apply lag and shift of Transport of 12 c.

I have created a class of Ruleset, added both primary and standby as targets and the installer steps as seen on the screenshot below.

Screenshot from 2015-11-18 09-52-46.png

I tried to simulate a lag lag/Apply to Transport by stopping the redo transfer/apply the broker, but for some reason any I see no warning that crosses. I can confirm that the e-mail address are configured correctly because I saw other alerts, like Instance of QuickTime, through vouchers.

Can someone tell me what I'm missing?

Thank you

Hi, here it is - summary

    Please suggest to solve this problem.

    Thank you.

    Problem is fixed - value StaticConnectIdentifier checked to a database of primary and standby in dgmgrl ==> primary port and standby was wrong wrt to the listening port value.

    Step 1 > error ORA-16664 and ora-12514

    ==> check StaticConnectIdentifier value for a primary database and a standby in dgmgrl ==> primary port and standby had value default IE 1521

    Primary:

    SEE THE VERBOSE "PRIM" DATABASE

    StaticConnectIdentifier = ' (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = tcp)(HOST=rac1.localdomain) (PORT = 1521)) (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVICE_NAME = PRIM_DGMGRL) (INSTANCE_NAME = PRIM)(SERVER=DEDICATED)))'

    Standby time:

    SEE THE DETAILED "DRY" DATABASE

    StaticConnectIdentifier = ' (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = tcp)(HOST=rac2.localdomain) (PORT = 1521)) (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVICE_NAME = SEC_DGMGRL)(INSTANCE_NAME=SEC) (SERVER = DEDICATED)

    Step 2 > listening port for the primary and standby is 1524 and 1525, so change these manually.

    Primary:

  • some concerns dataguard

    Hi team, support

    I have a few concerns dataguard:

    (1) watch how DR we can create to primary server?

    (2) in which 'Primary and Standy' DB server: FAL_CLIENT and FAL_SERVER parameter is optional?

    (2) what happens in the case of DR Eve: we will recreate the files of password with different credentials?

    Thank you

    (1) watch how DR we can create to primary server?

    You can create up to 9 eve of data for a single database

    (See link: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14239/concepts.htm)

    (2) in which 'Primary and Standy' DB server: FAL_CLIENT and FAL_SERVER parameter is optional?

    The FAL_CLIENT database initialization parameter is no longer necessary.

    (See link: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e25608/whatsnew.htm )

    (2) what happens in the case of DR Eve: we will recreate the files of password with different credentials?

    The passwords on the main site and rescue must be the same, if not primary db will not be able to connect to the db on hold and there will be heart rhythm has no error message in the alerts of the primary db log.

  • DataGuard problems, bad to the log_archive_dest_2 port configuration

    Hello! Thank you all in advance for your help and sorry for my English, I will try to explain as best as possible.

    We have a dataguard.

    It has two headphones, the ports are 1534 and 1544, but... someone changed their 1535 once there is and now I had to re-set up everything again.

    The thing is log_archive_dest_2 at the elementary level is wrong, because it points to instead of 1534-1535. I tried to edit init.ora and restart the instance but it always points to 1535 again.

    I don't know if this setting depends on the other, or there is a hidden configuration, I don't see

    I have recreated the password file in the primary and copy it to the secondary, after that I restarted both cases, but nothing

    No sense to me. Do you have a rebuild on my system and was not able to reproduce.

    At this point, I would like to grep for the problem (change of wider path if necessary)

    grep 1535 -R /opt/oracle/*

    I hate when it makes no sense. There must be somewhere.

    Best regards

    I was thinking about it more. If you have a data broker, they can change the database settings. Any change of this?

    I see this in your settings file that supports this theory

    *.dg_broker_start=TRUE

    Any set of values in Data Guard Broker wins the spfile parameter. So no matter what you the SPFILE and PFILE broker file overwrites.

    How to remove safely a Data Guard Broker Configuration [261336.1 ID]

    Or modify the 'StaticConnectIdentifier' proposal the data broker. See doc Oracle E17023-04

    "6 scenarios using the DGMGRL command-line Interface"

    Example of

    DGMGRL> edit instance dg112i2 on database dg112i_prm set PROPERTY StaticConnectIdentifier = '(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=192.168.11.225)(PORT=1555))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=DG112I_PRM_DGMGRL.au.oracle.com)(INSTANCE_NAME=dg112i1)(SERVER=DEDICATED)))';

    John;

    I checked my setup note and here is what I have on your common error:

    ORA-16607 on SHOW CONFIGURATION

    Problem: After creating your configuration and adding the standby database, you issued a SHOW CONFIGURATION as suggested. Instead of the expected SUCCESS, the report ends up with

    Warning: ORA-16607: one or more databases have failed

    . Checking with oerr ora 16607 was not very helpful (see above), and you neither can find anything in your alert.log nor any trace files.

    Cause: Probably at least one of your databases is not using an SPFILE.

    Solution: Check whether your databases have an SPFILE associated. It is usually located in $ORACLE_HOME/dbs/spfile$ORACLE_SID.ora. If it does not exist, create it: Login to your database as SYSDBA, and issue the command CREATE SPFILE FROM PFILE;. Even if it exists, to make the database using it you need to restart the instance - it must be used already at startup.

    My question: 1 why FILIPE takes too much memory?
    2. After switching to the standby database also the memory used by the process of FILIPE is not released very high almost 99.99%?

    Thank you and best regards,

  • dataguard stopped... How to restart?

    Hello

    Now I just add more space to the file system. How can I restart the media recovery process?

    Dear Insaponata,

    Copy the archivelogs relevant and necessary to the production to the standby destination archivelog and run under command;

    alter database recover managed standby disconnect from session;

    Please also check the view v$ archived_log set for archivelogs not applied on the standby database.

    It will be useful,

  • How to disable alerts from travel time calendar

    From iOS 10, I get calendar alerts, not 5 minutes before my meeting (which is what I said), but rather these travel alerts in time talk about traffic conditions and if I leave now, I'll make my meeting... or something to that effect.  Is it possible to disable these and have just alerts timed static normal that I specify.

    And besides, all my calendar events have time to travel the value 'None '.

    Thank you.

    Hello JupiterOne,

    Thanks for this info and choosing the communities Support from Apple. I know how to turn off this alert leave time is important to you! The good news is that these steps will be useful in solving your problem with this alert calendar events, you can go to settings > calendar > default alert time and disable the time alert off. This will transform this AutoFix to this alert feature.

  • How do you default Center widgits instead of alerts notification

    With the new update iOs 10 on my iPhone 6 s, the (ample down from the top) notification defaults to the display screen alerts.  Is it possible to have by default the widget screen instead?

    Sorry, but this isn't an option in the iOS. You can get on-screen widget directly from the home screen by sliding from left to right, all by dragging up and down poster notifications screen.  No gesture is editable.

    Or you can submit your ideas to Apple at http://www.apple.com/feedback/

  • Calendar alerts stopped working in IOS 10

    I can't understand why, but calendar alerts do not go to sea. Very frustrating. I searched around online, made sure that I am not on do not disturb, etc.. Anyone else having this? I think it's a problem on my iPad, since alerts on this device (annoying) turns off at the same time. Thanks for any input.

    I noticed on my iPhone and iPad about 10% or more alerts will never happen. They do not sound that they appear on the screen "info". They all work correctly on my Mac.

    It started with 10 IOS.

  • iPhone made his but without alert box new email

    Hi all!

    This problem lasts for at least a month now, so I figure it's high time to ask about it. Several weeks back my iPhone 4 has stopped to give me a new email alerts. I have all my accounts the value 'Badges, sounds and alerts.  I get the sound / vibrate when I get a new email but I DO NOT get an alert box. It was always nice to get a glimpse of emails and I want to come back.

    Of course, I receive pushed emails I get sound. Anyone has any ideas on where to go from here? The problem persists after a reboot.

    Thank you!

    Did you also set notifications to display on the lock screen?

  • iPhone 6, iOS 10, recalls is no longer an option to update to alert

    How an editable reminder to extend, for example, an hour after the initial alert?

    Are you referring to something like a snooze option? I've not seen a reminder have this option, except to set once again. Otherwise there would be a badge on the reminders application icon, but that does not give you an extra noise/vibration.

  • Birthday on the Control Center alerts disappeared after iOS 10?

    After the update to iOS 10, birthday alerts are no longer control center. Sad about this, because it was a powerful reminder to wish a happy birthday to my contacts! Is it possible to put it back again?

    Hi QuiqueRS,

    Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I understand after iOS update, you receive notifications when the birthdays of your contacts are no longer. I know it's nice to have these birthday reminders. I'll be happy to help you.

    If I can get it please, you open the calendar on the iPhone app, and then press the calendars below. Then scroll to the section titled 'OTHER' and to ensure that there is a checkbox on the birthdays calendar. Then go to settings > Notifications and ensure that the notifications for calendar is enabled and "Display in the Notification Center" is also on.

    Have a great day!
