  Is it possible to change the KVM Port for servers UCS B-Series?

  I used WireShark to check that access KVM for B-Series use the same default port as UCS C-Series (2068).  I found the instructions for changing port KVM for C-series.  However, I have found no documentation on the change of this value for B-Series.

• 3 laptops different ALL been facing intermittent problems with the USB ports.

  We have 3 laptops at home, running 3 different versions of winsows 7... Home, Professional and Ultimate. They have in recent months ALL given intermittent problems with the USB ports. A device that worked on a port stops working. It may or may not work on another port. A week later it could very well lead again on the port that wouldn't work. This applies to all types of devices.

  A few more questions:

  Is there a USB device that you use with all three computers?

  This problem occurs with all kinds of USB devices?

  The is the problem with all the USB ports on each laptop?

  Have you tried to reinstall the USB drivers? As in, uninstall via the Device Manager, restart your PC and allowing Windows to reinstall?

  I wrote a Serial Port RS232 RW.vi monitor of ' "which works for most. The problem is that it will not meet the alternative port configuration settings... For example: the default RS232 serial port configuration is:

  Instead of simply appreciate the comments, you need to implement.

  Having closed VISA inside the loop is definitely the problem.  And Crossrulz is 100% correct about the problem being that the serial port gets zero to default baud rate after the closure of the port.  Here's the proof.

  

  Note that while may have set the port settings manually in the Device Manager, these parameters are reviewed by the pilot VISA.  If you look in the measurement and Automation Explorer under devices and Interfaces > serial and Parallel, you'll see the default settings using the VISA driver.  If you change this setting, your program will work as desired.  But this is not the appropriate fix.  The correct solution is to get the VISA close out of the while loop.

  The port settings are established in this order.

  1. by Windows device drivers.

  2. by the VISA driver as set in MAX.  Since you are using VISA, these settings will be automatically replace #1.

  3. by the port settings, you set programmatically in your LabVIEW program.

  Also note that the *. je.info files are not where the content of the database is stored.  These files contain the debugging logging that is for people to look at when they notice problems with the system.  The database data is stored in files with names like 00000000.jdb (or many more).  But just to delete these files is not a good idea in general, and would have not fixed this particular problem.

  I face a problem that you use with GPIB-USB-HS due to the physical dimension, as shown. The width between the remote locking connector (FIR) and (w1) GPIB connector to the appliance is too small for the GPIB-USB-HS (w2) connect to this topic. If I unplug the connector RIL, tunable Laser will not be activated. So I have a few questions as follows.

  1. the LabView can always activate the tunable Laser if I unplug the connector at RISK in my case via GPIB?

Tried to install Design Manager.The motto is fine recongised by my other Vista PC. ? Is there a problem with my USB ports?   I guess the short answer is: Yes, the problem with the software and the 3.0 Port.

  The long answer with a possible work around is as follows: first of all, the software looks for minimum requirements. Because the software is older, he doesn't know what a 3.0 port.   We use the PCI-6229 in an industrial PC / Windows 7 CVI application and are interested in the power setting to the top of the default configuration for the input/output digital port configuration.

  I conducted a survey on this issue, and it seems that this is a known bug and was returned in October last year.

  There is however a workaround solution.

  Cannot set the State of a single line at a time, because that will generate an error kErrorPowerupStateNotSpecdForEntirePort. Instead of so, write several DAQmxSetDigitalPowerUpStates() with different hardcoded calls a number of settings and switch between them during execution.   It is always useful to have the complete error message without paraphrase.

  It also helps to identify the version of Windows you have, including service pack.

  And it helps to give the manufacturer of the printer in addition to the model.  In your case, I guess you have a Dell printer.  I know that some Dell printers are rebadged Lexmarks, but I don't know if it's a.
