• Follow-up - how can I order lines based on a value from column to HFR

  As discussed in my question on queries Top, I have a column that I ordered highest to lowest on a report.
  
  I have now, thanks to mballo, have a column of row (still hidden) as well as the column that contains the values. I have 25 rows. My use of the Rank ([M, 1:25].ifNN(-1), descending) provides values but no order.
  
  How can I get the lines sorted by the values in a particular column, then the first line has the highest value and the rest in descending order?

  In the property sheet of grid, there is an option "comes out" about 1/2 at the bottom of the page. Once activated it will bring up a window that allows you to apply the sorting. You can take specific lines or all the rows and then apply that based on a column. Or vice versa.

  If you want to use the stand-alone clients, then you will need to install them separately, all customers are available in the customer package that can be downloaded.
  It is also possible to use the EAS web console, but the port connect you will depend on how you have configured the system, for example
  EAS managed server deployed to own - http://: 10080/easconsole/console.html
  EAS deployed on a managed server - http://: 9000/easconsole/console.html
  or you can use the port of the server http 19000, 9000 according to the http server deployed.

• Launch of HFR reports in PDF format and in HTML when you access through planning Tasklist

  I am faced with a dilemma. I'm on a project where the planning is being installed. MS Excel SmartView is the main interface to the user for forms and reports. I posted several HFR reports for planning lists, but users want the option to open in PDF or HTML format. Reports HFR list of default tasks in html format. However, I understand that you can set the option via the workspace of planning to have financial reports in PDF format or html. The question is, how do I get a HFR report assigned in a task list to launch PDF unless the user set the preference in the workspace of planning. We have no change, so Management Department, the community using Smart View is a major obstacle so, another site it would do worse. Is there a global parameter that can be set at the level of the server, or behind the adjustment of scenes to the default code for all users in PDF format? The other issue is that if the user then wishes to obtain the PDF HFR report, can they have an option to open in mode query in MS Excel as an Ad hoc planning? Any suggestions on these two issues would be greatly appreciated. We are on the verge of the UAT and expected it comes down from the top. Thanks in advance.

  In the world you can make changes in the Jconsole mbeans to open any report EN PDF default is htm (if you have version 11.1.2.1). To change the settings try below:

  To connect to the web server EN
  Run FRconfig.cmd in the Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\financialreporting\bin folder.

  Above is open J console click mbeans (last tab)

  Expand .comhyperion click on change the attributes on the side left there is a single parameter called com.hyperion.reporting.HRPrefs.viewtype by default is html to PDF

  Close jconsole mbeans and restart web FR.

• Very urgent - using the ISERROR function in HFR

  Its very urgent requirement for us.
  
  How can we use is the function of error in HFR.bcoz if the two values in the formula ex: has / b; a = 0, b = 0; then it shows some garbage value.i came to know that we can achieve this
  using the ISERROR function function.but i dnt know how to use it.

  It can be done in this way using IfThen condition

  IfThen (IsErr ((ligne/colonne de référence), 0, (reference line/column)))

  where IfThen checks the condition

  Condition is ESTERR, it returns true when row/column reference forms, has a value of #error, so much affect you 0 (or any value you want) returns something else real calculated value of row/column of formulas.

  PS: Only the columns and rows formulas can cause #error.

  We try to use HFR with performance scorecard to generate the report. Scorecard of performance create Essbase database which can be directly linked to HFR and report can be generated.
  My question-if we don't have Essbase database for card application performance score how to generate report using Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio.

  Sorry, I have never developed a report by the Score of RDBMS. EN may not be the right tool for you since it has limited database connections. Have you tried interactive reporting? It is used mainly for reports that are mapped to relational data sources:

• Reports view HFR in the same window via the binding of task list url

  Does anyone know how to render a report, HFR, inside the application of planning, or even in the workspace when referencing to the url of this report through the task list? It is with the version 11.1.1.3. It does not appear as this version allows the task list to be built to pull up the report in the window of planning application, or even a tab separate workspace. I also want to be able to move the preview pdf or html when you view the report, but this option is not allowed when you open the report through the task list. A separate pop up appears on the report, which is not what I want.

• HFR conditionally hide line

  Is there a way to HFR 9.3.1 conditionally hide a line. I know I can suprress the values zero but I want the hidden line when it becomes zero or missing. Seems that I came across this once but could not find a way to do it now.

  It is that many members do not have a target value. So I have when the user selects the target 3 unnecessary lines. I want to hide the lines when the target or Budget is chosen for specific members.

  Select the line you want to hide, and then in the properties sheet (right side, press F4 if it does not appear)
  Then select the Advanced Options check box in the remove section.
  Then click on the Setup button, here you can delete: not sure how best to do it, but you could do:
  -If the member name is or
  -row contains missing etc.

  Im having a problem with one of my HFR report
  We have time and year Sun in Essbase application
  
  now the user wants to view the data of the last 13 months i, e
  Currmonth = Feb 2009 until February 2008
  hearing that I had taken the year and time to pass.
  to pass A YEAR, I had quickly for the year, and even as the neck to the rest of other 12 passes
  and for TIME to pass A, I had taken the TIME and Relative member - guest 1 10-12 in the other passes
  
  now the question is when I run the report complete shows for 2009 only.
  in fact last 2 passes (JAN, Feb) must have for 2008 instead, it's show for 2009
  
  can someone tell me how to get the right data.

  set up two columns [A and B]

  For a set for the year 2008 and the month is defined as a range of prompt month up to the end of December.
  In column B the year 2009 value and set the month as a range of Jan to the Prompt month.

  If the user select "Jun" at the command prompt, they will get in column a Jun by Dec for 2008, then in column B, they will get Jan Jun 2009 (i.e. 13 months)

  You can also improve with void variables if you want and you can use members POV place fast member if you wanted.

  If you get this error after installing the client and commissioning, then you will need run the hyperion configuration utility.
  It will be accessible from the start menu, launch it, choose financial reporting and apply and the customer should be allowed to use.

  Year: POV sometime this year
  Time: Jan of POV for time

  Col B:
  Year: Member Relative [POV current year - 1]
  Time: Member [current time + 1 POV] Relative to dec

  Example:
  If you select 2009 and Mar
  ColA: Year: 2009 / time: January to March
  ColB: Year: 2008 / duration: April to December

  I think that's what you want.

  Use "Merge equivalent guests" in the preferences-> financial information

  Column A = rank of days of fast for Time (prompt1) at the prompt for Time (prompt2)

  Create 2 other columns (hidden columns), one for prompt1 and the other for orders2.
  Refer to these columns in the text box.
