  I just bought the HP Omen 17-w033dx today and was surprised that the Omen control software was not installed. After trying to download the HP system event utility, I can't find the .exe that starts the program of control of omen.

  I am able to use the Fn + esc to see the specifications of the system, but I can't find the program of control of omen. (I would use them to change my color backlit).

  Is this possible on my model?

  There are full instructions to set up the LED lights here: using the software to customize game OMEN of HP keyboard.

  Make sure you have the latest version of the HP System utility is installed: HP Control Panel OMEN impossible change LED lighting.

  2. Or should I fully charge and then use remove the charger and only work on battery? This isn't a good idea because the battery will run out and you will need to recharge which means increase in cycles and the charge battery will die earlier.

• omen of HP: rattling sound of the fan

  Hi all

  I bought my Hp Omen in December and were treated like gold since, but whenever my is is on a flat surface the infallibly good fan made a rattling noise that only becomes stronger when I have the game. I have updated the bios and try to keep my software constantly updated, and none of this has anything fixed.

  I havn't cleaned the fans, because I don't know how to on this laptop and two, because I don't think I'd need 5 months, but I'm not an expert and I'm wrong.

  It's really very annoying and I want to get this resolved as soon as possible. So if anyone has any advice, please let me know.

  Cleaning is not necessary short time unless you use it in a sawmill. Unfortunately, a rattling fan needs to be replaced. The unit should still be under warranty, so I recommend you call HP service under warranty on it.

• omen of HP: loose hinges

  I had a hp since lanch omen and I love it I do not use it much, but last week or to I noticed almost the hinges seem to really loose as coward to use the touch screen.

• Omen of HP 15-5010nr: HP Omen - flickering issue 15-5010nr

  My Hp Omen is new and it shows a screen flashing when the computer was during a certain period of time. Please advise me on how to remedy this. I am using the supplied adapter when I bought the laptop. Even when I turn the LAPTOP works the flickering will happen. The other thread that addresses this issue gave no help or the results.

  What is your version of the system BIOS?  (you can check it via the configuration menu of the BIOS F10 to start the system or press Fn + ESC in the Windows desktop)

  Recommend updating the system with the latest version of BIOS - F.09.

• Omen Pro 15: Omen Pro, HDMI not worlk

  On any of the new omen Pro, we bought the works of HDMI ports. Or live on the PC, or via a port replicator USB 3005pr. best estimate is drivers.

  I did a full factory reset and installed all the drivers using the recovery tool and updated with Support from HP tool.

  But nothing...

  Also tried Win Enterprise 8.1, same same.

  Any ideas?

  None.

  But there is a simple answer. Connection to a HP with HDMI computer to an HP using DisplayPort monitor does not work.

  To be honest, it isn't specific HP. HDMI / DP is not simply supported.

  Anyone know where I can download drivers for HP Omen NoteBook PC 15 (k2v87ea)?
